"Here we go again." The Duke of Blackworth said with a sigh as he went back to mustering his Levymen should the Aaunishmen refuse to concede to the Church's demands.

"The Alstionites have displayed their unwillingness for peace once more. Still, we must stay our hand until the High Priest's allotted three saint's days have passed. We must at least give them the chance to repent." Said Ravenmire's Hand of the Crown and the Duke of Blackworth, Henry Arthur Haverlock. Still, he informed his Council to be on stand-by, just in case the Alstions refused.

Upon reading this missive, the Duke of Blackworth frowned deeply. He wondered what was occurring in the Apostolic City and told his Marshal, Barry Blackworth, to be on stand-by if needed in order to protect His Holiness Fleeperus I.

The newly instated Hand of the Crown settles into his office within the capital with a small smile upon his face. Henry then went about with his business, as such a new position surely meant he had much work to do.

Baron Nicolas Murietta did not take the news of his Brother's death well - hell, that was quite an understatement. Immediately upon hearing of his Brother's death, Nicolas was at first in denial. He refused to believe Luis was gone. When he finally came to the realization that his Brother's fate was sealed, he lashed out within his office inside the Palace. His outburst brought destruction to the room - flipped tables, shattered glass, torn paintings, and holes punched through walls. By the end of it, Nicolas' hands were red with his own blood. The Baron did not come home that night, instead putting his head down on his desk and drifting into sleep, his outburst having thoroughly tired him out.

"Once, my Father told me..." "...Oh wait, he's dead." The Duke of Blackworth promptly wandered off to go do something else with his day, perhaps to go tell his own Son a story. He did have quite a few he could tell the boy, after all.

"Not dense, Gaspard. I will not lower myself to dishing out childhood insults. They are misinformed of our intentions. The Reinmaren are good folk, stalwart folk. I do not seek quarrel with them, but they have been gravely misinformed as to our intentions. We do not march solely for the act of kinslaying, but to avenge our fallen Knights and friends, to avenge the grievous wounds dealt unto our people. If the men of Reinmar only knew our true cause, I am sure they would be much more sympathetic." The Duke moved to pat his former squire, now knight's shoulder. It was then that a sigh released from the learned man. "My fight is not with the Reinmaren. I pray to GOD on high that those who would name us such cruel things come to see our point of view in time."

"Once more do the injuries and deaths dealt to our people go unanswered." Said Henry Arthur Haverlock, the Duke of Blackworth. Still, despite the missive, preparations were still to be made. The Duke placed the missive within a drawer in his desk and walked off.

"Men of Aaun still attacked the city of Illation following Tiberias' missive with no warning or regard for the safety of the children there. Not only has the Aaunish military shown themselves to be bloodthirsty, but so too has the Queen! And they call us murderers." said Henry Arthur Haverlock, the Duke of Blackworth, upon reading the missive. He then crumpled it into a ball and tossed it to his son, Henry Owyn, to play with "This changes nothing. Our people have been harmed despite whatever your folk may claim. We will march.

"Unfortunately the time for talk has long passed. The fault lies not with the church, but with the Aaunishmen, for they have done injury to our people and have shown they do not respect our sovereignty. We musn't sit idle this time, not if we of Ravenmire are to expect to not be attacked once more. Diplomacy may only go so far." Said the Duke of Blackworth as he heard of the news of the Church's missive. He did not enjoy waging this war, but in his mind there was no other alternative if Ravenmire's people were to be protected.

"You deny the killing of your own Brother, yet fail to deny the attack that took place on our soil. You claim we are ready to set fire to the rest of canondom, but we of Ravenmire are of the faith. You fail to punish those who attacked your own people and promote them to places of leadership instead. You say you have made mistakes, yet you have done nothing to address any of these 'mistakes.' Face it, Kinslayer, you are grasping at straws and you know it." said the Duke of Blackworth, having grown somewhat passionate about this subject. With a sigh, Henry walked off to prepare the war effort, one which would surely dominate his life for the next few years.

"Our Urguani allies have joined the fray. Let us fight alongside each other once more, just as our Sedanian ancestors did!" Said Henry Arthur Haverlock, the Duke of Blackworth, upon hearing the news. He then went off to tell his councilmembers of this information.
