  1. Since you're such a tyrant on lotc, are you one in IRL? Since you're an lotc neckbeard do you mark your student's papers hard?
  2. A Call For Change ᛖ ᚲᚨᛚᛚ ᚤᛟᛏᚺ ᚨᚲᚨᛋᚨᚾ ᚠᚱᛟᛗ ᛞᚨ ᛈᛖᛟᛈᛚᛖ The Problem ᛞᚨ ᛒᛁᚷ ᛈᚱᛟᛒᛚᛖᛗ Urguan finds itself in a state of decay, as a detrimental influence has taken hold of the dwarves governing the kingdom, leading us toward inevitable ruin. In order to survive, the ways of the kingdom must undergo a transformation and purge the corruption festering within its halls. The current king has committed atrocities, including the unwarranted killing of unarmed fleeing dwarves, prioritizing other beings over his own kind, and going against the teachings of the Brathmordakin. The current clergy, led by ignorant individuals who disregard their own teachings, corrupt the minds of young dwarves. Among them are clergymen who have engaged with elves, resulting in the creation of abominations. Others preach false gods and wrongly attribute the origins of the plant people to Anbella. The incompetence displayed by the clergy underscores the urgent need to remove them if the kingdom is to rebuild. The Culprits ᛏᚺᛖ ᚲᚢᛚᛈᚱᛁᛏᛋ ᛏᛟ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛈᚱᛟᛒᛚᛖᛗ Garedyn Mossborn Garedyn’s rise to power has been filled with scandals and displays of ignorance only found in the mind’s of elves. His willful disregard of the Brathmordakin is astonishing and his ability to throw away dwarven life is unmatched. Many dwarves including Hana Starbreaker and Thalgrim Goldhand witnessed him slay a fleeing miner from a battle, unarmed. Garedyn has ignored the teachings of the Brathmordakin for his own gain, corrupting the kingdom further. Auriel Doomforged Although less egregious as Garedyn, Auriel has played a key part in the willful ignorance of the Gods. As the High Prophet it was her duty to propagate the ideology of the Brathmordakin and fester a dwarven society around religion. Instead she has only propagated falsehoods and even claims that acts of Drudic beings were acts of Anbella. The kingdom is filled with those who worship other beings above the Gods and her inability to control the falsehoods have attributed to this. Mao Blackroot He has gone by many names in the past but his actions have remained persistent, he has corrupted Yemekar’s perfect creations in exchange of abominations. He has led many dwarves down a dark path with no redemption, turning them into plant life monsters. Under the protection of Garedyn he has been able to corrupt many dwarves, and openly mock the Gods. He is a blight that must be burned from the kingdom. The Solution ᛏᚺᛖ ᛋᛟᛚᚢᛏᛁᛟᚾ ᛏᛟ ᛟᚢᚱ ᛈᚱᛟᛒᛚᛖᛗᛋ There is light at the end of this dark tunnel, a way for the kingdom to rebuild and become a prosperous people. We must embrace the teachings of the Gods fully and openly, and remove the culprits who plague our people. Instead of being led by corrupt people we must be only led by one thing, the Gods. ‘ We must vote out the king and change the system, from a system of squabbling clans to a people working as one. The leaders of this society should be the ones who lead the faith, the ones who respect God's teachings and ideologies. We must follow Yemekar’s grand design and reconstruct a prosperous society.

  5. The Red Manifesto ᛏᚺᛖ ᚾᚨᛏᛁᛟᚾ ᛟᚠ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛈᛖᛟᛈᛚᛖ Red Urguan ᚨ ᚾᛖᚹ ᛋᚤᛋᛏᛖᛗ ᚠᛟᚱ ᛈᚱᛟᛋᛈᛖᚱᛁᛏᚤ Urguan has been mired in a state of stagnation, with empty streets and dormant forges. Many within the kingdom place the blame on Agnar Grandaxe or Bakir Ireheart. However, it is crucial not to overlook the true culprits responsible for this decline: the elves. The integration of elves into dwarven society has paralleled the downward spiral of Urguani society. This troublesome trend began modestly, as they started referring to Golemancy runes as sigils and attempted to exert influence over dwarven culture. Gradually, they went a step further by engaging in the creation of half-breeds, such as Alaric Grimgold, which defied Yemekar's divine design. The audacity of the elves did not stop there. They proceeded to pilfer our cultural magics and art forms, only to pervert and ridicule them. For Urguan to reclaim its former glory and thrive, we must bring about a transformative shift in the system. The dwarves must liberate themselves from the oppressive influence of the elves and unite as one. The existing system hinders our progress and has been manipulated by cunning elves intent on impeding our inevitable growth. It perpetuates internal conflicts, rivalries, and self-interest, prioritizing them over the collective welfare of our people. The new system should revolve around cooperation and collaboration for the greater good of Urguan and the entire dwarven race. The current clan system fosters elven politics and internal strife, hindering our advancement—this must come to an end! The Great Leap Forward ᚨ ᚾᛖᛖᛞᛖᛞ ᛚᛖᚨᛈ ᚠᚱᛟᛗ ᛟᚢᚱ ᚲᚺᚨᛁᚾᛋ As a community, we are called upon to embark on a great leap forward, embracing novel systems that prioritize industrial progress and the advancement of our people. To achieve this, we must divide our efforts: some will tend to the fields, ensuring our sustenance; others will master the art of weapon forging and the creation of mystical artifacts; and finally, we need warriors who are ready to carry forth the message of Red Urguan, spreading its principles far and wide. The Farmers In order to sustain a society focused on industry and working together, we must maintain a steady supply of food. The bellies of dwarves must never go empty, and that is why Urguan needs farmers. The fields of Heffrum must be tended to and bales of wheat and slabs of meat must be produced in large scale in order to support the efforts of Red Urguan. There cannot be a hierarchy, the farmers must work as a collective and think as a collective in order to succeed. The Miners and Crafters At the heart of Dwarven society lies industrialism, and it is the miners who quench the insatiable thirst for precious resources. The cave dwarves, in their contribution to the cause, must extract valuable metals from the mountains of Aevos and skillfully forge them into weapons and tools for the betterment of Urguan. We must not succumb to the elven mindset of hoarding these metals, as they should be held for communal use, dedicated to large-scale projects that fortify Urguan's armory and enhance its prosperity. The smiths of Urguan should not toil solely for personal gain, but rather channel their craftsmanship towards the greater purpose of fostering dwarven unity and advancing our society. The warriors As word spreads of our transformative systems and the shattering of oppressive chains, it is foreseeable that the elves may attempt to impede our progress. They might mobilize their armies, aiming to rebind us in shackles once more. We must remain resolute in preventing such a setback. Therefore, the legion must unite and form the formidable Red Urguan Guard. Renowned warriors from the esteemed Frostbeard and Ireheart clans have a crucial role to play in this new society. Instead of engaging in inter clan conflicts, they must channel their strength towards projecting the power and influence of our cause. Our mission extends beyond the borders of Urguan—we must liberate the rest of Aevos with our ideological fervor and strive to emancipate the oppressed, spreading our message far and wide. The economy Similar to our Senate and Ground Council, taxes are artificial constructs contrived by elves to impede our progress and hinder our advancement. Instead of imposing taxes, we should pool our minas collectively to fuel expansive projects and endeavors. By establishing a shared bank with a unified vision, we eliminate the need for taxation. Our wealth will be accrued through the prowess of our industrial hub, producing goods to be sold and bolstering a thriving economy that drives our prosperity. The Plea ᛏᚺᛖ ᛈᛚᛖᚨ ᛟᚠ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛈᛖᛟᛈᛚᛖ Instead of bestowing your votes upon dwarves who perpetuate the oppressive system, lend your support to Durin Hammerforge. When you vote for Durin, you are ultimately voting for your own liberation. Should we persist on our current path, our fate will inevitably be one of despair and ruin. It is imperative that we align ourselves with the movement and forge a superior society—one that upholds the core values of dwarves, the Brathmordakin, and our rich cultural heritage. Together, we have the power to break free from the chains that bind us and establish a new nation—a nation aflame with the spirit of unity and progress.
  6. "Atronachs are gifted their own sentience and mind" - Atronach lore
  7. Original: Atronachs on their own are immune to both mental attacks and sensory illusion, as they do not necessarily have a mind to trick. Proposal: Removal of the redline in favor of allowing Atronachs to be affected by Sensory Illusion. Reason: Although the redline states that Atronachs do not have the mind to be tricked, this doesn’t seem to be consistent within the lore. In the Atronach Behavior and Psychology section of the lore, the constructs are described to have a mind and sentience, similar to anything else. Throughout the lore, it seems to repeat that Atronachs have their own sentience and mind. The only difference the lore mentions is the inability to express emotion and that they are subservient to their master or creator. In the Sensory Illusion lore, it states that the magic, “instill sensory falsehoods in the mind of another”. One can assume from this that anything with consciousness and the ability to see, hear, feel, etc should be affected by the illusions. Although illusions may not instill fear or happiness within an Atronach, illusions should affect their hearing and sight.

  17. Mandate of the Rhun Prophet 19th of Knife-Ear’s Welcome, 122 S.A. What do you do with a broken relic? It may be great in its own right with a rich story but dull, rusted and misshapen. It cannot serve its purpose, its design in such a state. Any wise craftsman will not hesitate to answer; you reforge it. The Cult of Rhun as established in oral tradition by my predecessor Rhun Prophet, Norli Starbreaker, must likewise be reforged and reorganized so that we can achieve the goals destined for us. Together, we have realized a list of Eight Oaths of Rhun for the reforging of our culture. All dwarves who recognize the Rhun as the absolute order of the Worldmaker’s creation are called to take these oaths and initiate themselves into the Rhun Oathed- a group of dwarves dedicated across clan and guild boundaries to pursue the traditions of the Rhun. In honor of this reforging, there shall be a great festival of the Rhun the 12th of the next Grand Harvest. [Saturday the 8th, 2 PM EST] Contact Rhun Prophet Durin Hammerforged or his aide Stoneback to initiate yourself into the Eight Oaths of Rhun. On Teaching the Rhun There can be no denial of the authority of the office of the Rhun Prophet and his growing assembly on the matters of the Rhun traditions. It was a forgotten and dead philosophy from our ancient era, placed second to modern inventions such as Yemekar’s Balance. This has been the case for centuries, with the exception of a few writings of Arcadian Runesmiths who had personal experience with its power, but were reluctant to share. Any attempt to usurp and define a ‘true’ meaning of the Rhun greater than that of the Rhun Oathed will be viewed as a grievous insult on the culture, just as much as redefining Kjellos’ traditions would be as a cave dwarf. There have been recent efforts to defraud the history of the Rhun; to deny religious history and rewrite it brazenly for political purposes is an overt slander of the Gods. Any further dishonors of this kind will be retaliated against and exposed. Rhun Kav’Kirkja Durin Hammerforge Akrakthrein
  18. If you look at Djinn lore it clearly has a theme with pictures of genies and such but not all of them RP like that. The only parts that should effect your roleplay is the mechanics and redlines. Who cares if it has a certain theme. You can roleplay it differently.
  19. It clearly states that anything with the density of metal. How did this cause confusion?
