A PLEA TO HIS HOLINESS
It was a typical day in Osanora for the Hyspians, a day of long farming, prayers, and occasional sips of Saint Roberto Tequilla. Inside the home of the Prince of Hyspia, Cesar II and his regent, Carlos Mendez knelt before a Hyspian priest, there they were joint in prayer. while Holy Sir Santiago stood beside the priest. After the priest was done, he turned to leave, escorted by the Holy Sir, but stopped for a moment turning back to Carlos Mendez.
"Is the prince baptized yet, my lord?” The priest asked before Lord Mendez
"I-” Carlos Mendez stopped for a moment, needing to think, he then looked back to the priest, “He is not, I am afraid to say”
"We must change and correct this, my lord,” The priest said
"Indeed, we must,” Carlos Mendez said in return
Cesar II, who at this point was 9 years old and not yet baptized, looked to the two men, raising one of his brows, the prince would ask, “Perhaps we could ask his holiness?”
Both of the men nodded their heads, not wanting to question the prince, not like they wanted to anyways. Carlos Mendez would reach for some paper and a quill, sliding it onto the prince’s neat and tidy desk. The prince would begin to write, but of course was aided by his regent, Carlos Mendez.
A LETTER TO HIS HOLINESS, JUDE II
(Viewable by His Holiness, and other Canonist clergymen interested, and Hyspians!)
Dear Holiness, Jude II, Vicar of God
It has been long since a member of the royal family of Rivera has spoken to you, despite this I still wish to to plead and beg you for forgiveness for my family’s actions against the holy union of the Hyspian people. I wish for your mercy and love, to allow me to re-enter the communion of the Holy Mother Church, and for the light of God to embrace me and my family once more. I wish for you to baptize me, officially re-entering me into the communion of the Holy Mother Church. I wish to be saved, holiness.
From the Faithful
Cesar II, Prince of Hyspia, Count of Osanora, and Protector of the Hyspian People
