THIS is for Irene, thee rotund, white-fleshed, putrid smelling bacon-did-feed wench, why thee TOOK mine beloved's eyes out and flayed them, beat them to nigh death whilst their back was turned, thy TRIFLING, FILTHY, LARGE, ‘oompa loompa’, corse-haired rampallian WENCH! I'm coming up thither and I shall beat the ALAS out of thee, wench, and don’t rally your darkspawn-filth comrades, I shall cometh up thither unexpected and wail on thee rampallian wench arse; I KNOW OF THE FETID CARRIAGE THOU DRIVE and thou raggedy arsed steeds and ratty cloth. Damned tattered shoes, thin-haired, stenched dog, arsed wench! I'm telling thee, WENCH, I'm coming to beat thou for thou foul-mouthed, trifling-arsed attitude. WENCH!!!

why do we even have forced /d20ing upon killing someone as a concept tbf. I've only ever seen arguments for it from folks saying 'it inflicts consequence' which is silly because it's bad-faith consequence that the other side won't enjoy and inecentivises boring *kills instantly* rp. also lootgoblins are bad. always happy to have my mind changed but I just don't see the logic

what incentivizes poor faith, instant killing or whatever villainy rp is when players don't report it and mods not handing out villainy blacklists while actively witnessing it during modreqs. The /d20 thing isn't much of anything, relic of the past and with soulbinds being what they are nothing is gained or lost aside from respect between two parties.

little Paul, Paul the mouse, I call him, wants to rule Arrakis. many are saying this, but we can't let that happen, folks, can we? no, we'll make Arrakis great again and Paul and his worm riders—they're riding the worms now, many such cases. but we won't let them stop us

what do ppl think abt feeding requirements (e.g 'you must drain lifeforce twice a month to survive)

i think they're a relic of an older time on lotc, even though i preferred to leave people alive on my siliti after a feed it felt like an incessant chore every week to log on and instead of do interesting evil guy rp like manipulating a nation or making floating islands i think "fucks sake i have to ******* feed" and then i have to go and inconvenience someones day with rp neither of us want to be a part of. ST also revealed upon the shelf of siliti that the vast majority of the community hadn't even fed in months and was not roleplaying the consequences. is that a problem with the community or the fact that such a system is nigh impossible to moderate and enforce?
despite all this i do not see an alternative to feeding mechanics.

cool idea and from a balance standpoint it's pretty necessary, but it can be a little difficult to work around if you end up busy irl after making the commitment. it can be pretty frustrating being forced to make your character start to starve because of circumstances beyond your control. not to mention it can get a bit repetitive having to set aside time to effectively do the same scene over and over every week or so, which can suck the fun out of the ca a little bit. there's definitely a need for it, and it's a great lore tidbit that adds an element of moral ambiguity to something that might otherwise be all benefits, but it wouldn't hurt to adjust how it works to add more variety to feeding scenes and to accommodate for schedule issues - can't really think of how you'd do that though
