  6. That's just silly, evictions signs exist for a reason. Why do we have them at all if people can just place normal signs and call it a day? Change and clarify the rule.
  7. Good thing it doesn't represent an eviction notice. There is a sign that can be placed by ROs only for evictions that gives a three day notice. If you were evicted by your image, i suggest contacting a moderator. The eviction signs are used to ensure that a 3 day notice is properly given and tracked.

  15. Grimm Realization “Blood for blood. Fire for frost. Where man waits, the frost does not.” The events began not in chaos, but in coordination. Within the barracks, members of the levy, members of the Helwyr’s guild, and gathered citizens stood together in discussion. The frost had made its presence known in recent years, and the meeting had been called to address how the threat would be handled within the barracks and the city itself, what measures would be taken, how patrols would respond, and how civilians might be protected should the cold return in force. Plans were being spoken aloud. Warnings shared. Preparations debated. The frost does not wait. Without warning, a horrid screech of twisting iron tore through the barracks as the front gates were violently forced open. Chains snapped. Metal screamed. A bitter, unnatural wind poured inward, washing over levy, guild, and citizen alike. The cold bit deep, yet this time, it did not arrive in silence. A Heavy, rhythmic impacts followed. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. Each thunderous step shook the stone beneath their feet as the source revealed itself beyond the ruined gate: a colossal frostbound mammoth, towering nearly twelve feet tall, its hide crusted with ice and rime. Pale breath billowed from its trunk as it lowered its massive tusks and pried the gate open by sheer force, iron bending beneath frozen strength. Before the defenders could fully reorganize, the first wave struck. From beneath the rising gate and through the shattered entrance, frost-covered wolves and hounds surged forward in a sudden, feral rush. Their movements were fast and deliberate, their attacks aimed not to kill outright, but to maim, disarm, and drag defenders down. As reinforcements from the inner city arrived to assist, they found themselves met by counter-reinforcements of frost. Wolves lunged at the newcomers, snapping for arms and legs, seeking to cripple and overwhelm. The beast let out an ear-piercing screech, rattling armor and stone alike as it charged deeper into the gatehouse. In a devastating moment, Ser Silas, having just aided the young recruit John, was caught by one of the mammoth’s tusks. Frozen ivory pierced through armor as Silas was lifted from the ground and slammed into the gatehouse wall, pinned there by sheer force. The impact alone was enough to steal the breath from any man. Blood seeped from Silas’ side as jagged ice formed across his armor, frost creeping ever outward as the cold sought to claim him where he hung. It was only Therin’s timely strike, his blade biting deep into the mammoth’s flesh, that forced the beast to recoil enough to loosen its pin. Yet Silas was not finished. Summoning what strength remained, he willed his warhammer, flames licking up the haft and engulfing the hammer’s head from a nearby fireball. With a final, furious swing, Silas brought the burning weapon down upon the mammoth’s skull. Bone cracked. Frost shattered. Fire roared. The mammoth reeled, but answered blood with blood. In its dying fury, the beast reared and brought its massive foot down upon Silas, attempting to crush him beneath its weight. And in that same brutal exchange, Ser Silas fell. With the fall of Ser Silas came the fall of the mammoth. The great beast let out one final, broken sound, something between a roar and a death-cry, before collapsing into the snow. Its body did not remain. Instead, it slowly cracked, melted, and dissolved, returning to frost and ice as though reclaimed by the cold that birthed it. Leaderless and weakened, the remaining wolves faltered. One by one, they were cut down by Olorin, Aeth, Therin, and Relad, until silence finally returned to the Barracks. Blood-stained snow and drifting frost were all that remained. A painful lesson for all, if they would not attack the frost, the frost would attack them. Made even more painful by the death of a Hero, a Warrior, A friend to most, a mentor to some but above all. A Knight.
  16. What KBR does not go into much detail here on is how many DAYS it can take to get a full kit for one person. Say you have access to a nation mine of 16 irons and 16 netherite. You start on a Monday and only do 1 grinding session per day until the weekend then you do 2 Saturday and 2 Sunday, you wound still need to do an addition mining run on Monday in order to have enough iron. This does not include time for breading and killing cows. So well yes, the total time might take 2-3 hours, it is realistically taking you 5-10 IRL DAYS depending on how much your able to grind.

  18. Jarad very much remembers Peralien Maelstorm betraying Urguan to join Oren during the war of the wigs then later betraying Ebonwood and Oren. He also thought that Vivian would be a much better head of house.
  19. Jarad would read the missive before having a 10 minute laughing fit. He would end up doubling over and falling to the floor before showing standing up and looking to a nearby aid in the petran town hall, one that he didn't want but had begrudgingly accepted "G-go get me some paper, i need to write to vivian and congratulate her on escaping her toxic family." He said desperately trying to hold in his laughter. "It's very funny that she is being blamed for a war that was long brewing and had nothing to do with her, last i check she also did not attempt any assassinations or anything of an evil nature. This lady just seems completely deranged or separated from reality. Perhaps she could not stand vivian being happy without her or a potential rival to her claim of maelstrom, tho given the maelstorms have betrayed urguan, oren and some elves in the past, it does not suprise me that they betray their own now." He said just rambling off at the aid before sitting back down and reviewing tax documents and possibilities for new properties.
  20. Jarad knew for a fact that she would end up helping him again. He also this that thjs fight about him not using his titles, or even proper prefix, pretty much ever, had been a fight for the last 200 years and it would be a fight for the next 200 years.
  21. The Riviènse Office of Stewardy Issued and averred by The Grand Treasurer, Lord Jean-Baptiste Auclair Atstana de Regne Petrère 208 LEADERSHIP OF THE OFFICE HIS EXCELLENCY, Lord Jean-Baptiste Auclair, The Grand Treasurer THE HONORABLE, Lord Jarad Mah’nel, High Steward of Riviènse APPOINTED STEWARDS OF RIVIÈNSE THE RIGHT HONORABLE, Lord Symon Stafyr HIS LORDSHIP, Sir Thomas von Theonus HIS EXCELLENCY, Lord Beorn Alaric of the Phoenixsphere HER HIGHNESS, Princess Mattea Asadha of the Petra HIS EXCELLENCY, Lord Caz Reinhold Miss Elvar Shadebloom Miss Elise Mah’nel Miss Ember Mah’nel Miss Mirusunne Mah'nel Miss Cinnamon'Ox o'Nico Stewardry Office Policies The following policies are issued under the authority of the Petran Stewardship and are to be observed in all matters pertaining to civic administration, property oversight, and internal conduct. On Property Sales All property sales within the city of Petra are conducted on a first come, first serve basis. No individual, organization, guild, or external body shall be granted priority or preferential treatment in the acquisition of housing, shops, stalls, or other civic properties. This policy exists to ensure fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for all prospective buyers. Any attempts to circumvent this process will be denied and dealt with by the Head-Steward. On Pétrine Holdings Beyond Riviènse Any and all Petran lands outside of Riviènse, with the sole exception of barns and related agricultural structures, fall entirely under the direct authority of the Archduke and Archduchess of Petra. The sale, granting, or allocation of such lands is not within the power of the Stewardship. While the Archduke and Archduchess may, at their discretion, request assistance from the Stewards in the planning, coordination, or construction of projects upon these lands, no Steward is authorized to sell, promise, or assign Petran land under any circumstance. On Guilds Guild officials may speak to the Grand Treasurer or High Steward on receiving guild benefits and becoming registered as an official guild. The Petran Stewards do not oversee, process, or manage member registration on behalf of guilds. Each guild operating within Petra is fully responsible for its own recruitment, membership decisions, and internal administration. All matters regarding guild entry are to be handled solely by the guild’s leadership and designated guild stewards. Petran Stewards may redirect inquiries to the appropriate guild officials, but shall not intervene in membership decisions unless strictly necessary. On Subletting/Re-Selling Houses All Petran properties are issued to their owners under the understanding that they are to be personally maintained and occupied, unless otherwise approved. Therefore, the subletting*, resale**, or transfer of ownership of Riviense property, whether for coin, favors, or indirect benefit, is prohibited. The exception to this policy is Guilds giving housing or shops within their holdings to their members. * Sebletting - Allowing one to live in a house for a weekly payment to the property owner. (they may contribute to the overall taxes for the property, but not for personal profit.) * Resale - No citizen is allowed to resell a house to another for any reason. The selling of houses may only be done by appointed stewards. On Steward Compensation Any Steward involved in the sale of a Petran house may retain the down payment associated with that sale as compensation and recognition for their service and labor. This practice is recognized as both lawful and customary, and is intended to acknowledge the dutiful administrative work performed by the Stewardry. Steward Responsibilities The following responsibilities define the duties and expectations of those appointed to serve within the Petran Stewardship. Property Sales and Oversight Stewards are responsible for the sale and administration of houses, stalls, shops, and barns located within the city of Riviènse. All such transactions are to be conducted in accordance with established Commonwealth policies, ensuring fairness, transparency, and proper record keeping. Stewards are expected to accurately communicate terms, collect payments where applicable, and ensure that properties are recorded correctly on citywide ledgers. Interior Planning and Design Assistance Stewards may be called upon to assist in interior planning, layout, or design work at the request of the High Steward, the Grand Treasurer, or the Archduke/Archduchess of Petra. Such assistance is to be rendered in a supportive and advisory capacity unless otherwise directed. Stewards are not authorized to independently approve structural changes or major alterations unless explicitly instructed to do so by the appropriate authority. Assisting Newcomers Stewards are to assist newcomers to the city by providing a tour, getting set up in a house or inn room, and anything else that might be requested. This responsibility exists to ensure that new residents are integrated smoothly and positively into Pétrine life. Refusal to Work Stewards are not obligated to perform any task they reasonably believe to be unsafe, unlawful, or beyond their authority for the sake of stewardy. Personal safety and sound judgment are to be maintained at all times. This does not extend to those with other responsibilities such as levymen and knights. On Recruitment In light of the current staffing levels and after due review of internal needs, the Office of Stewardry is not presently seeking additional appointments. A notice will be circulated when this changes. S I G N E D, Jarad Mah’nel, High Steward of Riviènse
