  1. The Smiling Sun, Robert, who breached the walls thought he could have sworn to see the crown of a King hiding while his levy was slaughtered to the man. Regardless he made note of the grudge, on his orders a Dwarf was allowed to live last night, it wouldn’t happen again. Ulfar had brought ruin to his people during his rule, and after it seems.
  2. The Smiling Sun wrenched his warhammer from the skull of a dead dwarf. It was over, years of war- battles fought as a nameless 'noble,' potentially lesser than even the common folk, forced into a name he had never known, naught but a quest. He turned about to see his Knight, and yet he was not there, for he had been cast into a deep coma in the charge at the battle of the Dwarven Gates. Having pressed deep into enemy lines and shrapnel covering his lower leg from the initial push upon the walls, he turned and sat, resting. He thought of all those who had come before him- those who raised him. Sar Logan, Prince Martinus, Sar Noiye, Guardsmen Lucis, many others... Then, raising the disgusting visor of his pigskull helm, he finally broke, and smiled.
  3. The young squire searched for his lost Knight. He spoke upon reading some scribbling of a missive which talked of demon infighting: " FORSOOTH ! "
  4. "Let our blades sever their connection to Ixris, for their only salvation is death!" Robert, boy squire, withdrew his blade and shouted in zealous excitement.
  5. "That a ***** may rise to such heights..." The young squire spoke; he placed his gauntleted fist upon his mail shirt's side. "Adultery shalt be punished by death!"
  6. As the Lord Vander from his height pon’ the Command Post blew a golden-lined war horn for the advance into the fortress... A teen boy, Rob, pushed up the siege ladder beside his friend Martinus, his warhammer crushing and cracking into the bodies of limp and dead dwarves. ”A True Knight leaves none alive who doth not yield.” @helldiving
  7. “Could we fix her, sar?” The page asked of the Knight Errant. @Barbarus

I genuinly enjoy seeing your roleplay Sean, especially the Bard roleplay in Veletz was the peak of Warrior-Poet roleplay.

  9. "The Lord-Emperor is wise, Sar Logan; perhaps in good time we might drive all the evils from our lands?" The page asked the Knight.
  10. "If the Pagans know better Sar Logan, surely those of God will not suffer these abominations either?" A young page and ring-leader of the anti-Mori riot of Rittersberg asked of the honorable Knight. @Barbarus

  12. The Lord Vander recovered from the balista bolt to the leg he suffered, rising from his bed, he dubbed the Hero, 'Onion Knight', as a member of the peerage. Miraculously, he was already healed. "Until it is over." He moved to the large table nearby, pushing a piece, represenative of the Dragon Knights, towards the nearby field.
  13. ✠ PREFACE; In the Imperium, might often makes right. The Imperium is a militaristic entity whose entire bureaucracy is built upon the strength of its arms. Employment in a variety of fields, such as construction, mining, lumber, and smithing are all under the purview of the Imperium Industrium, the industrial arm of the Imperial Military. Because of this, oftentimes the law, which is handled by the military and a select few Justiciaries, can be a harsh force. The Lex is expected to be upheld, although many times, the executor of the law: a Guardsman, Knight, or even the Grand Knight or Lord Marshal, can deliver harsher or laxer sentences to the common man, and it is due to this that many in the Imperium take to settling their disputes through dueling ✠ I: ON THE LAWLESS DUEL A lawless duel is a duel that does not have an Imperial Official present to ensure its legality. This is a duel wherein two individuals have set up their own boundaries for oversight; perhaps one figure is forcing another into the duel, perhaps they both have agreed but simply did not take the steps to have Imperial oversight, or perhaps two individuals wish to settle an argument over something which would gain too much attention from Inquisitors. Regardless, this duel is outlawed in the Imperium and can result in anything from a fine to a death sentence; though often these duels can be overlooked. ✠ II: ON THE SANCTIONED DUEL The Sanctioned Duel is any duel that has been proposed by two individuals in an agreed fashion and approved by an Imperial Justiciar. This duel is usually to the first blood; however, if an argument is important or dire enough, it can even be to the death. A sanctioned duel is always proposed by both individuals involved in an argument and always has Imperial oversight in one form or another. ✠ III: ON THE FORCED DUEL A forced duel can take place when a Knight or Imperial Justiciar orders such. These duels are often a form of resolving petty disputes. If a member of the peerage or a citizen, with the Justicar’s approval, demands a trial by combat, then this is also considered a forced duel. The weapons of dueling vary widely, especially amongst the many cultures of the Imperium; however, some are more prevalent than others. In any armored duel, it is highly likely that the pair engaging use longswords, as they are the most common and effective blades for such encounters. Upon horseback, lances may be permitted as well until both opponents have fallen. Unarmored duels are much different, usually resulting in far more damage to both individuals if not more deaths. These duels often make use of weapons tailored to do such offenses. More common in the heartlands is the Rapier, a sign of a gentleman’s warrior spirit. In the highland and fringe areas, sabres are much more common as they are tools of the frontiersman’s trade. Duels do not always need a blade as well, oftentimes especially amongst the army, where losing a good man is much worse than settling a minor score. Duels of fists are forced, with the victor receiving an apology from the loser. ✠ IV: A DUEL OF SIX When a Trial By Combat is demanded by a member of the peerage, or an approved citizen of the Imperium, they might then demand a duel of ‘six,’ in honor of the Three Exalted and Three Scrolls. If this should take place, a date must be set between the two disputing parties and their five compatriots to join in battle. If the day should come and one side should lack in men, the side with full numbers shall be considered the Victor.
  14. Issued and averred by the office of the LORD MARSHAL ✠ HEED, LEAL SONS OF HOREN; The Dragon Knight, ever sworn to his master, the Emperor of Man, is hereby given leave to muster additional levies from the countryside. The Legionary System is to be reformed to the Imperial Levy System: As the threats facing the Imperium know no boundaries or distinction, there is no longer a need for one amongst the Militarum. ✠ I: ON THE MATTER OF THE CROWNLANDS The Imperial Crownlands shall be mustered in full by the Lord Marshal at any time, sending forth the Imperial Knights to do so. Landed Knights of the Black Dragon are given leave to muster their own forces so long as they bear the Industrium’s Armor and Imperial Sigil; they may wear the colors of their fiefdom. The position of Legate will hereby be a temporary title granted by the Emperor to a chosen Imperial Knight to restore order to a region when the Grand Knight or Lord Marshal is not present, exercised during a situation of duress. Auxiliary Legates within the Kingdoms of the Imperium (Norland, Idunia, Caurost) will still hold the same authority and task of mustering their men for war at the call of the Imperium’s Lord Marshal, Grand Knight, or Emperor. Should an Internal War Charter be granted and a Knight’s Levy be involved, they are expected under penalty of death to don distinctive vestments; any man wearing the BURGUNDY or BORDEUX of the Imperial Rittersberg Levy is strictly prohibited from joining in such an arrangement. Gladius Drakeri AVE IMPERIUM! H V M A N I T A S I N V I C T A “Für Gott und Kaiser,” HIS EXCELLENCY, Lord Vander, Lord Marshal. VAE VICTUS
  15. I am afraid I’ll never find a worthy death in battle. Lord Vander thought as he wretched his carbarum greatsword from the dead human- or Uruk, though it was hard to tell the difference after how mangled the body had become. ”Lord Vander.” A guardsman offered to take his blade, and raising it to the man for cleaning he let it fall to his hands. This is the curse I bear for not joining my daughter.

  17. We can only hope the next Mod Admin does not target ban on personal whims. There is still a great level of hypocrisy prevalent in this team, of course it is in all teams. I hope you reinstate the mods removed as well.

  21. TO DIE A DREAMER'S DEATH THE SEAS QUAKED The seas were horrid that day as the young Aruuh set out across the ocean towards the rivers between the Kingdoms at war. It was his first mission, his first task- aid the raid at Rittersberg (on cooldown). Amongst him were warriors of first class, strong dwarven men who had for years served Urguan honorably in the court of Grand King Ulfaar Starbreaker. He prussed himself to his mast, a lone small longship captained only by himself- no more than a fishing boat to men of the Imperium, but to him it was a craft of war. A swift-moving device which could be used to destroy vessels much larger than his. The ships themselves, stationing 300 soldiers, flew the flag of Urguan as they sailed deep into Imperial territory. His superiors, upon spotting 100 Magi and 700 citizen levies standing upon the long Rittersberg bridge in wait, began to taunt. Aruuh pushed forward: “Down wit’ teh Empire!” He screamed. However, spotting 100 Magi casting a horrific fire spell altogether with their might, he steered to the right. Placing his longship between the 200 Commanders, he bravely sailed forth. The explosion killed him upon impact; however, such a sacrifice was needed to provide for the escape of the Urguani longship fleet from the chasing 400 levy citizens. A Strategic Victory. "It is a beautiful thing to die in the service of others." Sorry guys, this is the first PK post I’ve ever had to write as a result of conflict because I’ve never been killed on the server. It’s upsetting to lose such a touching and well fleshed out character like my Dwarf, Arruh. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Letters will be sent out in-game. Special thanks to __Media and Beardicus for the roleplay and @Ninjayfor being cool about my death and letting me collect my stuff after d40ing.
  22. "Holy Cope," said Lord Vander to Emperor Hadrian as the servants wiped the butter and turkey grease from his beastplate.
