  1. Farren shrugs upon hearing of this, because to be honest, dwarves love to gossip. "Bah! T'is young'in trying to usurp meh. Ah nae mind steppin down, but ah would raf'er 'ave ah say in who succeeds meh, raf'ers t'an ah beardlin who can bareleh control 'is own men. Who would get it because tu Grandaxes like tu indulge in nepotism. " He proceeds to send a letter to Fili. "Ah will nae beh tu cog in tu give tu Clan Council, t'at abomination to satisfy tu ego an give it tu clans more presence. If tu peo"ple ov Urguan want meh tu step down so beh it. But ah will nae nae beh ah tool to strengthen tu poison t'at is tu Clan Council.
  2. A random peasant shrugs, mentioning something about poor harvest being more important before getting back to tend to his field. ((The way I see it is this, you have a tomb down with a body in it. Then it's only fair people should be able to steal the corpse down from it, unless you actually having a dummy one. Saying the body's a fake really is just blocking rp because you don't like how it effects your character. Either way instead of bickering over the forums just sort it out in pm's with the Gm who was involved. Tip: Don't put important people's tombs in public places. Only dummy ones or monuments or not at all.))
  3. A passing peasants picks up the pamphlet, pausing for a moment his eyes squinting as he tries to read it. Failing to do so he goes to a nearby guard. Asking him what it reads, before eventually going on to say: "If t'ey beh lovin 'em worms, ah wonder w'ut they think ov 'em peskeh birds? Ah mean dun t'ey eat w'ut t'ey worship?"
  4. I would also suggest start referring to the "Antag" as Scourge from now on more and more. OOC'ly and IC'ly. Antag just screams OOC, and as such will always most likely be treated as such. I mean come on, who honestly would refer to a dragon attacking you as "Antag attack". Treat is more as an IC Character thing, with naming ect and people will do so to. So refer to more as Scourge :P Although it's only a small thing, but they count.
  5. Farren pauses for a moment before letting out a long sigh. "Ah believe t'ere should be unbanished aye, fer Nalro's sake. But ah still f'ink it shames tu name ov Urguan tu 'ave an elf carreh tu name. Eif'er way, ah believe she must drop tu name Grayhammer, for it stains tu name ov Urguan fer ah knife ear tu carreh tu name. Meh' friends daughter or nae, ah believe tu last f'ing we want is fer tu legaceh ov tu Grayhammers to fall intah tu hands ov Elves who would sulleh it wif t'eir ways. So aye, fer unbanishment but ah f'ink added she an 'er elven kin drops tu name. "
  6. Farren frowns slightly, coughing into his hand as he shuffles in his chair. "Just by looking at this map, it's already clear to me that this is not viable or entirely beneficial for our people. This is mainly to do so with the location plots. I'll elaborate with some key points: Firstly, neither of the three locations are suitable. One of the primary reasons is that the monks own some of the Lands you've requested. Another is the fact that it would not be beneficial for the inhabitants of Kal'Ithrun to have a town in front of them nearby the road from Cloud Temple. If you ever decided to turn on us, you could attempt to imitate the White Rose, blocking at least of the major paths coming from Cloud Temple. Barring access to our people, similar to what your kind tried during the last war. Trade is another issue, if we're to have any towns they should be behind Kal'Ithrun. When people enter our Lands, they should enter Kal'Ithrun first, not stop by other towns. The Humans made this mistake when they built Salvus, and ended up destroying it. I don't see why we should try to repeat such foolishness. Otherwise we'll be faced with this new town that would leach from us, before eventually devouring us it's host. So to put it simply, I would disagree with it's creation if they used any of those locations. Although I admit this is partly due to me not trusting the long'un, with the recent incident caused by the Adunians and past ones by other Jarls. It's become apparent that Vassals in my eyes are not beneficial for our people, unless run by a trustworthy dwarf. Might you consider another location? One a tad more obscure so that it will not impede upon the growth of our Capital? Maybe yer can take over Barbek or somefin? Thoughts Me'King an of'er Lords? ((Written in common to make it easier to understand. Even with all the good intentions, a city in front of our Capital is not beneficial to us. It's never has been for the Dwarves or frankly other nations. Leaching roleplay from the Capital. Salvus, outer Kal'Urguan and Vaerhaven are prime examples of this. Ultimately this isn't really in the best interest of a player base trying that's trying to expand and improve in my opinion. As vassals have always kinda leached roleplay from us, like parasites.))

But all that work... On the other hand it's interesting. This conflict between being satisfied with my work and being creeped out by it.

  8. Farren pauses to ask Gradluff if he's in his right mind? After doing so, he proceeds to break the fourth wall and ask if Lagomorphia has consumed any substances that may cause him to act erratic in the last few hours.
  9. Farren shakes his head. "Young'in nae understandin our traditions. Yer can nae appoint anof'er Paragon wifout tu approval ov tu Bishops or Prophets as we call 'em now. It seems evereh High Prophet t'ese days tries to name one more Paragon t'an tu last, cheapenin it. Aldal... We need tu talk."
  10. You notice a large stone tablet placed in front of the lift to the Smithing Guild. Upon closer inspection you notice there are carvings upon it, it reads: "To the Smiths of Urguan, From this day forth Dared Starbreaker [Nalatac_Aicneta] is now in charge of the Smithing Guild. He shall be instructed in the art of Runesmithing and Golemancy in the following Elven weeks. What is for the future of Runesmithing though? It is to be made a separate guild, that shall be linked to the current one. Dwarves who have shown their worth, shall be chosen by the Forge Master to be part of this new Guild. Where they shall learn the art. Eventually this guild shall come under the Forge Masters supervision. If all proceeds as plan. But enough of plans, I admit my failings. My negligence has damaged my art and my clan. With the New King and a New Forge Master comes change. They shall lead our people into this new era of change. Sparks in the Dark my brothers, we are the disciples of Yemekar and we shall rise again. Farren Starbreaker
  11. Farren sighs, clenching his fist with suppressed anger as random Dwarves seek to nominate themselves. "Fer fair representation ov both sides ov tu recent debates, ah nominate Gamle Irongut tu supposed Beardmaster."
  12. Farren wanders how the King of Oren, knows all of this. Considering the Dwarves are holding a meeting to discuss this possibility at this very moment... ((This is completely meta. We haven't even decided to vassalize them, and currently holding a meeting about it. ))
  13. Farren raises a brow at Zahrer. "Hold ah moment Zahrer, don't make declarations on yer own. We need tu 'ave ah Lords meetin first." ((The vassalage is still under discussion. Nothing is confirmed yet, so please don't take any of this rp'ly as of yet. We'll make a proper post, about it if we go with the idea.))
  14. Can we also add "Kal'Kirkja Trumm?" - City of the Holy Beard?
  15. Farren laughs "Take yer shiteh prettender guild back from tu elven ***** from whence it came. Tu Dwarven smifin be tu best, an if yer wish tu question t'at ah suggest yer start by challengin me, yer younglin. Ah respect yer but du nae try meh patience, because yer guild does nae know ov tu true way. Yer merely a shell in comparism tu t'eh greatness of Yemekars dedicants.
  16. Signed, Lord Farren the "Reclaimer" Starbreaker"
  17. Farren noticing his name is not on the document, quickly writes it below. "T'ere, now t'at's better! Ar! Ar! But Kal'Garud? Well at least part ov it's dwarvish, albiet wrong. Name changin can come later though fer now at least t'ere's nae mass kinslayin."

Indeed it is, but I was asking about both of them. I apologise for the bad terminology used there.

  19. I personally think this brings up a bigger issue. Not to be overly offensive to the staff, but can we please have some mech standards when it comes to regions? At the moment it depends on who's the GM and the players relation with the GM for the most part.
  20. Farren nods slowly as he reads the message. Sending a small tunnel mew to it's writer. "Your reasoning is fair to be said to the least. Change comes with time, and I feel the age for another change is near. I hope you'll return when that happens. For now I'll contact you for judgement as you hold a sound one. Remember we're merely playthings for the gods, sometimes they play their games with us as their puppets. At the end of the day, were merely bound to our fate until we reach Dungrims hall. May the gods bring you back to us. Yemekar watch over you fellow Dwedmar, Farren Starbreaker"
  21. ((This is Grand Kingdoms of Urguan vassalage system, not Orens. The Articles do not state that they own the land, you cannot judge it by Orens system. Since it's not Orens system, it's the Dwarves. The Adunians can leave, but they cannot take the land with them. We made sure to have this system in case of such a situation. I've said this many times OOC'ly and rp'ly. If you have a problem with this, feel free to message me over skype and we can discuss it there. )) Durdin still wanders around lost, wondering where on Anthos his fellow Druid Brethren have gotten to.
  22. Farren shrugs, carrying on with his day. ((I'll clarify, the way we've set up our land system is that our vassals don't actually "own" the land at all. We do, similar to the system in China. The Vassals merely use the land, kinda like with mines. Mine supervisors don't own the mines, they can't hand it over to someone else. It's always been the case in Dwarven Vassalage, in case of such situations. So therefore it would be illogical for the Adunians to be able to hand it over. Note this is the Dwarven Vassalage system, not Orens. It;'s different so it should be treated as so.))
