The halls of Blessed Patrick Cathedral remain mum as the enthronement ceremony takes place. Bishop Humbert presides the ceremony, an assembly of acolytes and brothers by his side. His low voice triumphs in the newly constructed Church as he reads out the ceremony. “The Lord Creator, our God , father of all creation, sustainer and maintainer of the realms aplenty, had long ago made with Horen a covenant to spread the revelations of His Truths. And we, the keepers of God’s Will, the shepherds of his flock, are to continue to preserve his covenant, from the wickerdy and heathenry, the ill-minded and the mad. And as His Will, our Allfather has blessed one among his flock of man to lead and preserve the ministry. Wardens of the Church, these High Pontiffs are to keep our communion and covenant with the Lord Creator, and to bind the mortal races together in face of true threat, subservient to none but His Will which graces him. Our church has been long in the darkness, balkanized by politic and the petty grievances of man; and in order to keep His Truths and His Grace aflame in the hearts of both sinner and saint, it has been time to anoint a new father of our church to preserve His Way and His Truth.” Humbert then begins to recite the Prayer of Penitence "Almighty and most merciful Creator, we have wandered and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws. We have left undone those things that we ought to have done; and we have done those things that we ought not to have done; and there is no health in us. But you, O Lord, have mercy upon us sinners. Spare those who confess their faults. Restore those who are penitent, according to your promises declared to mankind in Horen our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Creator, for his sake, that we may live a disciplined, righteous and godly life, to the glory of your holy name. So say we all." . It is then when the young Theodosius was presented to the clergy, bearing an immaculate white frock. Bishop Humbert continued; “With the Lord Creator our witness and guide, it has been divined that the Pentarch, Theodosius of Fursten, born Theodosius Yurison, has been willed to fulfill the seat of the Church Pontificate. Do you heed the call of Our Creator to bear this vocation? “I do so believe.” “You have been ordained in our church, your household names forsaken and your life devoted in sole service to the teachings of our Creator. The vows of your past vocations remain firm; now you must make the declaration of assent.” Bishop Humbert then reads the Assent, preserved from a different time. “The Church of Faithful is the One, Holy and Rightful Church of the Creator , worshiping the one true God, The Creator. It professes the faith uniquely revealed in the Holy Scrolls and set forth in the Faithful creeds, which faith the Church is called upon to proclaim afresh in each generation. Led by the Holy Light, it has borne witness to Faithful truth in its historic formulates, the Articles of Faith, The Book of Saints. In the declaration you are about to make, will you affirm your loyalty to this inheritance of faith as your inspiration and guidance under God in bringing the grace and truth of Horen to this generation and making Him known to those in your care?” “I, Theodosius of Fursten, do so affirm, and accordingly declare my belief in the faith which is revealed in the Holy Scrolls and set forth in the Faithful creeds and to which the historic formularies of the Church of The Creator bear witness; and in public prayer and administration of the sacraments, I will use only the forms of service which are authorized or allowed by Canon.” replies Theodosius. Do you accept the Holy Scrolls as revealing all things necessary for eternal salvation through faith? "I do so accept them." "Will you be diligent in prayer, in reading Holy Scrolls, and in all studies that will deepen your faith and fit you to bear witness to the truth of the Word?" "By the help of God, I will." "Will you lead your people in proclaiming the glorious Word of Horen, so that the good news of salvation may be heard in every place?" "By the help of God, I will." "Will you teach the doctrine of Horen as the Church of Faith has received it, will you refute error, and will you hand on entire the faith that is entrusted to you?" "By the help of God, I will." "Will you be faithful in ordaining and commissioning ministers of the Church?" "By the help of God, I will." Will you be gentle and merciful for Horen’s sake to those who are in need, and speak for those who have no other to speak for them? "By the help of God, I will." "Will you endeavor to fashion your own life and that of your household according to the way of God and make your home a place of hospitality and welcome?" "By the help of God, I will." "Will you work with your fellow servants in the Church for the sake of the kingdom of God?" "By the help of God, I will." "Will you accept the discipline of this Church, exercising authority with justice, courtesy and love, and always holding before you the example of Horen?" "By the help of God, I will." "Will you then, in the strength of the Holy Light, continually stir up the gift of God that is in you, that the good news of God may be proclaimed in all the Realm?" "By the help of God, I will." "Speak thus then the oath of the Pontificate, with the conclave and God as witness." "I vow to change nothing of the received Tradition, and nothing thereof I have found before me guarded by my God-pleasing predecessors, to encroach upon, to alter, or to permit any innovation therein; To the contrary: with glowing affection as her truly faithful student and successor, to safeguard reverently the passed-on good, with my whole strength and utmost effort; To cleanse all that is in contradiction to the canonical order, should such appear; to guard the Holy Canons and Decrees of our Saints and Pontiffs as if they were the divine ordinance of Heaven, because I am conscious of Thee, whose place I take through the Grace of God, whose Vicarship I possess with Thy support, being subject to severest accounting before Thy Divine Tribunal over all that I shall confess; I swear to God Almighty and the Favored son Horen that I will keep whatever has been revealed through Horen and His Successors and whatever the Saints and my predecessors have defined and declared. I will keep without sacrifice to itself the discipline and the rite of the Church. I will put outside the Church whoever dares to go against this oath, may it be somebody else or I. If I should undertake to act in anything of contrary sense, or should permit that it will be executed, Thou willst not be merciful to me on the dreadful Day of Divine Justice. Accordingly, without exclusion, We subject to severest excommunication anyone -- be it Ourselves or be it another -- who would dare to undertake anything new in contradiction to this constituted Tradition and the purity of the Faith and the Faithful religion, or would seek to change anything by his opposing efforts, or would agree with those who undertake such a blasphemous venture." As his oath come to close, Humbert washes the face of Theodosius and anoints his forehead with scented oils. "Cleansed of worldly taint, you are reborn in the Creator's vision. Your heart blessed in the eternal compassion and truth of Horen; your soul aflame with the benevolent justice and fervor of Owyn; your body awash with the incredulous miracles and charisma of Godfrey; your mind attuned to the unworldly wisdom and vigor of Siegmund." Humbert then garbs Theodosius in the pontifical cloth, and bestows the pontifical ferula. "By this you are known to all as preserver of truths and lord spiritual." Humbert then retrieves the ring of St. Lucien, before sliding it upon the right ring finger of the anointed, and afterward, takes the pontifical mitre and rests it upon his brow. "I announce to you a great joy: We have a High Pontiff! The Most Eminent and Most Reverend Lord, Theodosius of Fursten. High Pontiff of the Canonist Faith who takes to himself the name SIXTUS III."

From within the council chambers, the hooded monk begins to count the votes, reading them aloud. "Gerald of Rosemoor." "Theodosius of Fursten." "Gerald of Rosemoor." "Theodosius of Fursten." He pauses for a moment having difficulty reading the handwriting of the final vote. With a grunt, he casts all the votes aside and calls for an immediate revote. The Pentarch repeat their votes without question and resubmit their votes. "Gerald of Rosemoor." "Theodosius of Fursten." "Gerald of Rosemoor." "Theodosius of Fursten." ...."Theodosius of Fursten." The votes are cast into the fires of the second chamber; a High Pontiff named. From outside, white smoke wafts to the heavens from the Fursten monastery as spectators rejoice.

Upon the hallowed grounds of the Fursten monastery, the five Pentarchs of the Ecclesiastical Synod convene together. A lowly monk, sullen of face, permits them entry but bars their exit. Only he holds the key to the Synod chambers and is expressly forbidden to grant it to any of the Pentarchs, who must remain in council until a new High Pontiff is named. "With the death of High Pontiff Daniel I, a new High Pontiff must be named among you. He must attain a majority vote among the Pentarchs, three votes of five. The voting will continue until a Pentarch rises to the bear the golden laurels of Horen; write your vote on a slip of paper and grant it to me, and we shall cycle through until the Creator's hand names one of you Pontiff!" The Pentarchs come together, beginning to discuss and debate who should rise to become Vicar of GOD... ______________ ( Please only post if you are Haribo Firestar Snowshovel Pheonix33 Jachun Man5791 Thank you)

With the untimely death of Daniel I, it is writ in his will to publish the unfinished 4th Golden Bull of Dibley to sort the succession of the Pontificate. The Golden Bull bears the seal of Pentarch Humbert of Humbert, who claimed an informal regency due to his seniority in this period. ________ The Fourth Golden Bull of Dibley On the matter of our affirmation as the indisputable, worldwide, and apostolic papal seat as in the days of old, HIGH PONTIFF DANIEL I, Prince-Bishop of Cyriaum and Fursten, Keeper of the True Faith, Supreme Pontiff of the Church of True Faith, Witness to the Canon, High Servant to the Exalted Testaments, and Vicar of God, does decree... Section I. Beatification And so High Pontiff Daniel has bore witness to our pious and martyrs, who have with absolute conviction, found themselves distinct in the fifth sky without toil or otherworldly penance. He names them blessed for their contributions to faith and anoints them a feast day and celebration to commemorate their lives as godly fellows. He has named... RICHARD DE BAR; for revitalizing the Order of St. Amyas, patronizing both holy works and holy deeds, and toppling the Caesaropapist Regime of old. We anoint Richard a holy warrior most pious in resolve and name him blessed among the fifth sky. The Ecclesiastical Synod High Pontiff Daniel has named THEODOSIUS OF FURSTEN following to be raised to the Synod. given the vacancy presented in the death of Fabian the Elder. On The Golden Meme -- Aristotle's Views And An Author's Conclusion

We know of Aristotle. We know of Socrates. We know of Plato. We know of Einstein. We know of Martin Luther. But who were the scholars of Spain? How can we forget the prophet Memehammad (memes be upon him), Sultan Memet the Conquerer, Sultan Suleyimeme the Magnificent? How can we do this? The Golden Meme shall be one which transcends your white Christian European perspective. The Golden Meme shall be universal transcending caste, creed, and culture. The Golden Meme shall enable us to ascend beyond our mortal coil. Ya Allah, for what is sweeter than NAM... Dr. Zahir Mahmood. -

1) Lark was a fine character all things considered. I don't really have any qualms with him outside of some of the more newby stuff that you did in the beginning (garthurians, isle of spades religion, dating elves). 2) I feel like you try to jump into the spotlight which makes you appear needy at times; that being said, you have a good heart and have always had a positive outlook on things. 3) As I mentioned in the prior question, just do your duties and don't wait for praise, don't try to make light of the position. It's a serious role, not a toy to be used to amuse yourself. 4) Robert Tarvam 5) I would've played for another month or so in Dec 2013 instead of poofing off. There were a lot of missed opportunities that could have been settled in that period that I threw away for. I also would've taken staff more seriously in 2014 and acted more professional. I also would have chose an orc instead of a dark elf as my first character and played with austinpowers999 more closely. Toilet science; for your health Yes, fax Urara for details "Death by swamp is the purest death there is." - Melisandre Myre Just you 1) My favorite war claims were the Volvokrem ones in Asulon; they were so dynamic and engaging with very little OOC backlash. Dread fort was amazing, but only in the last 15 minutes. The two hours prior was just gut-wrenching. 2) Yeah, there was a good shortage of decent nobles in that period and I would have enjoyed restoring the Foys to prowess...but you bailed on me =( 3) I play High Pontiff Daniel I and Count Hugues de Montfort 4) Military secrets... 5) Yes! I actually would love to RP with you again; add me on Skype, thecrackerjack1234 and we can hash things out.

1) You are generally a good-natured fellow all around, with a certain patience and kindness I don't see often. Only thing I could critique really is to slow down sometimes, but you've learned that well enough with time. 2) It's transbending which is a mortal sin. 3) Call me Danielle. 1) You've got mean streaks, inflated ego, and whenever you are in CMUnion TS you gain the craven trait, but that doesn't detract from your overall good qualities, that being a diligent, earnest fellow with healthy aspirations and a drive to succeed. 2) I prefer Rhys + Toby in conversation over you but that's because we have a longer history. Between them two, I couldn't pick. But I don't necessarily like you less than them, I just have a different relationship with them than I do with you. 3) 7/10, 7/10 1) I know very little about you but my first impressions were solid from the Commonwealth chat. Out of all the people trying to destroy the efforts of an unified north in lieu of Oren separatism, you stuck with the plan at hand and it paid off well, a unified North under Oren becoming a strong and fresh polity in an otherwise stale map. 2) I enjoy a good laugh here and there. 1) 2) If I survive I would easily pick Jewish, great perks from surviving Holocaust 3) I enjoyed him, he was a character who had tasteful mental disorders. It is a disaster but expected given the circumstances. At this point, we just need to back out and let them have their Thirty Years' War until it is all sorted. 1) Frederick Royce was a cool character and is a model for Hugues given they both helped run their local City Watches. I did not like the Stranniks that much though in terms of Raevir culture but I do wish I rp'd a serious character during that time as to interact with Frederick Royce more deeply as with the other interesting characters of the time (Wilfriche, King Henry, Vladislav, Jack Rovin, etc.) 2) I've only RP'd seriously with Guy once but that was a pleasant experience all the same. I do wish he was more active with his Chancellor role though and follow the footsteps of St. Wilfriche in restoring the office's good name! 3) Tough call, I want to watch the next episode before making the verdict about Show Stannis. I'm still a fan of Book Stannis, though, of course. 4) Yes My dog's name is Toby I'm not answering the rest tho. 1) No 2) Probably not, I've a personal qualm with sainting monarchs because they already will be remembered in history for being monarchs, so they need to be extra-pious and faithful to the Church to prove that and Boris, while an interesting character, didn't have the time to demonstrate those qualities. 3) Yes but that's another story 4) Not a real question, Soren Zitoun is an objectively easier match 5) Yes 6) Yes, I enjoyed our RP last night and I would like to see you around more often IG, though I can understand your departure.

I'm doing okay. Wish I had some real work to do and wish I was in NYC but can't complain much about the rest. Thanks for asking. 1) Zoe the Zitouness 2) No, I'm not that dark nor that self-conscious. 3) Siegmund enjoyed the presence of the Lord de Sarkozy largely due to their similar moral and cultural beliefs. Both were foreigners distant from the Renatian traditions who had to forge their legacies by merit and both shared common enemies. I imagine even at times Siegmund would have looked to Hadrien as a father-figure, given his marriage to the de Sarkozy's daughter. That being said, Siegmund did at times relish toying with Hadrien given Hadrien's posh and rigid demeanor contrary to the burlesque baron of Raev. 4) She died in a carriage accident and/or hemophilia. 5) We must respect Arn for his decisions. Change your avatar and we can figure from there The Mughal dynasties held their own and have produced some of India's greatest rulers and cultural landmarks but their inability to meld native traditions with the Islam had doomed the Empire from the start. I've always wondered how India would be if the Mughal Empire instituted new sect of Islam which had adopted aspects of Hindu ideology just as Christianity adopted aspects of pagan ideology in the Roman Empire.

HUGUES SARKOZIC Nicknames: Hugo, Hugh, Hughbert, 'the Harlot', Your Grace. Age: 22 Gender: Male Race: Human Height: 6'1 Weight: 180 Physical Features: Hugues boasts a warrior’s frame; tall, broad-shouldered, and fierce. Flaxen locks betray his heritage as few could discern his ancestry from a common glance, with some regarding the youth as the spitting image of a young Lothar Horen. Hugues was often teased by his father over his ‘elven eyes’ given their bright emerald hue. They have since dulled with age and exposure. His countenance has grown scruff under the duress of leadership, though he still possesses a youthful complexion. Health: Hugues enjoys a well-rounded diet and ample access to various remedies due to his noble birth. His health is excellent. Personality: Boyhood mischief and a lack of parental guidance has left Hugues to be a rash youth of low cunning. He lacks the scruples and cautions of greater men. However, underneath his dismissive exterior remains a willful and kind youth of high aspirations. Inventory: Hugues often carries about... A steel cuirass; regarded as a family heirloom. A large bastard sword made of castle-forged steel. Salted mutton, rye bread, and a flask of boiled water. A pack of playing cards. A pouch of coin. A small leather-bound journal for note-keeping. A stolen lute. __________________________________________ Lifestyle Alignment: Chaotic Neutral. While Hugues does show inclinations towards good rather than evil, he lacks the moral constitution which defines good and immoral ambition that defines evil. Deity: The Creator. Religion: A lax adherent of Canonism. Hugues enjoys the stories and sagas of the Canonist saints but has no particular attachment to theology. Nation: Oren. Class: Noble Title(s): Duke of Adria, Count of Novellen, Viscount of Dibley Profession(s): Noble Strengths: Hugues has a thorough knowledge of diplomacy and history given his noble upbringing; a quick mind which few get to witness due to Hugues’ reluctance in demonstrating his intelligence. He possesses a wild charisma which both alienates and inspires. His singing voice is said to be chipper and sweet to the ear. Flaws: Hugues has a tendency to leave a poor first impression on people due to his personality. Snide, arrogant, and cynical, Hugues often is unable to conceal quips and japes in conversation. His sharp wits and sharper tongue have left him with few close friends as most peers dismiss his colorful remarks as genuine insults. Hugues is also rash and shameless with little concern for the ramifications of his actions. He is apathetic to anything he has not earned or sought out, creating deep tensions when confronted with unwanted duties. __________________________________________ Weaponry Fighting Style: Hugues assumes balanced stances in combat. He reads his opponents well but lacks the strength and stamina to capitalize on his predictions, making him a middling fighter. He readily employs unorthodox tactics in combat, however, to mitigate his inadequacies. Trained Weapons: Being a squire and noble, Hugues has trained with a myriad of melee weapons. He has had long-lasting training with most daggers and swords, while his experience with axes average, his experience with polearms mediocre, and his experience with blunt weapons woefully lacking. However, given the versatility of a sword, he can manage other melee weaponry with adequate ability. Favored Weapon: The longsword is Hugues’ weapon of choice. Archery: Growing up in a hunting environment, Hugues has had ample exposure to ranged weaponry. He is a fair shot, though he prefers the thrill of melee combat. His favored ranged weapon is the longbow, believing crossbows and arbalests weapons employed by cravens and cutthroats. __________________________________________ Family Parents: Victor de Montfort and Helaine Chivay are Hugues’ parents. He has a begrudging respect for his father as he does with many authority figures and mourns his loss. Hugues was closer with Helaine growing up, but adolescence tainted their once loving bond. Siblings: WIP Children: Extended Family: Hugues descends from the Carrion and Chivay bloodlines. Hugues has an appreciation for his Carrion and Chivay heritage but, oddly enough, is distant from his Tuvic kindred, another hybrid line of Carrion and Chivay. __________________________________________ History WIP

The problems with the server at the moment won't be fixed with a map change. While I applaud the initiative, I don't think it is prudent to swap maps so soon, especially into a temp map, and have Athera be a map of total failure. There are a myriad of ways we can fix up this map and turn it into something more respectable. Abandoning it so readily would bring excitement for a month or two, but the 6+ months of settling the new map (which is a constant factor with all maps) would be a hassle. That being said, Athera as a role-play map is awful. While I believe we can make it work given a combination of staff and player efforts, I do anticipate the next map in hopes that it is designed with more thought behind it.

I added you on skype, mainly because as High Pontiff and OOC keeper of the human faith, the prospects of this seem pretty concerning. Interacting with the heavens isn't something that should be happening for good reason. I love the idea of an expansion pack, however, I don't think the Skies is an appropriate place to base it off of. Hopefully we can hash something out.

The Third Golden Bull of Dibley On the matter of our affirmation as the indisputable, worldwide, and apostolic papal seat as in the days of old, HIGH PONTIFF DANIEL I, Prince-Bishop of Cyriaum and Fursten, Keeper of the True Faith, Supreme Pontiff of the Church of True Faith, Witness to the Canon, High Servant to the Exalted Testaments, and Vicar of God, does decree... KRISTOFF OF HANSETI, for his brave martyrdom defending St. Thomas' Cathedral from an unruly band of dwarven legionnaires. Kristoff, the humble bishop of the Crownlands, stood alone to defend this house of our Creator and was decapitated for his defense. EMILY OF WOLDZIMIR, for her fervent revelation and command against the schismatics in the great schism war. This pious noblewoman rose to defend her faith from the wayward and wicked when men hid and grew craven; her stunning victories are the story of hymns. beatified; let their trials and tribulations never be forgotten in the canon of man. Section II. The Ecclesiastical Synod In order to deliberate Pontifical succession, High Pontiff Daniel has reformed the Ecclesiastical Synod. It shall consist of three, five or seven members at a time, and upon the resignation or death of a High Pontiff, the Synod will vote among itself to name a new Pontiff. When they are three members of the Synod, members may style themselves Triarch, while five, Pentarch, and when seven, Septarch. The Synod must always have at least two bishops, but the rest of the Synod may be chosen by the Pontiff from any of the ordained clergy. The Synod also holds the due responsibility, as a collective, to organize evidence in regards to the canonization of those beatified and sanctified. From henceforth, all figures being considered for beatification or sainthood must be approved by a majority vote by the Synod before being named by the Pontiff. High Pontiff Daniel has named the following to be raised to the Synod. HUMBERT OF HUMBERT, Bishop of Savoy GERALD OF ROSEMOOR, Bishop of the Crownlands BRANAFORD OF CAVAN, Parish Priest of Karovia, Court Chaplain to His Majesty JOHAN OF SIEGRAD, Parish Priest of Siegrad FABIAN OF CYRIAUM, Brother of Cyriaum, Secretariat to His Holiness Section III. Clerical Schools of Thought All clergymen are expected to fulfill similar duties; serve the realm by promoting matters spiritual and intellectual to foster a righteous faith and culture. However, the Church of the Canon recognizes that there exist a myriad of ways to accomplish these lofty goals. Each method yields its own virtue and in accordance with the Canon, the High Pontiff has chosen to illustrate the four most common schools of thought, as to present the clergy various niches to consider. The clerical school of thoughts are not hard and fast ideologies but rather symbolize a broad spectrum of theological practices. The High Pontiff encourages the clergy of the realm to investigate and specialize based on their characteristics in order to provide better religious service to our faithful. SIBYLISM: Often regarded as 'knights of the mind', clergymen who lean towards sibylism tend to stress the importance of knowledge. They dabble in arts and the sciences, making fine philosophers and ward fathers in the parishes they seek. As a result, however, they tend to be a bookish lot, focusing more on their studies and theses than spreading actively to communities. Often times, they would find themselves serving in a lord's council, providing valuable insight in medicine, history, philosophy, theology, and engineering given their intellectual expertise. Sibylists are most associated with the Exalted Horen and the Book of Virtue, as Horen is regarded to be the most humble of the Exalted, and also the first to review holy scripture. They often bear croziers of wood to represent the parchment they work with. Prominent Sibylists include High Pontiff Daniel, Brother Fabian Virosi, and Deacon Jude. FLAMENISM: Flamens are considered the most bold clergymen, acting as chaplains on the frontlines of conflicts and inspiring soldiery with brazen speeches of purity. They are warlike and aggressive, often regarded as purists in their mannerism. Many Flamens are even trained as templars to deal with apostate magi, dispose of abominations, and perform inquisitions on settlements of suspicion. They are schooled in both secular and clerical law in order to dole the Creator's justice where they can. Such brazen zealotry can lead to alienate the commons, however. Flamens are most associated with the Exalted Owyn and the Book of Spirit, as Owyn is known for his fiery nature, and the Book of Spirit revolves around the purity of the Canon faith against lesser ones. They often bear croziers of ferrum to symbolize their iron sense of justice. Prominent Flamens include St. High Pontiff Lucien I, Blessed High Ecclesiarch Radomir, and High Pontiff Pius II. EPULONISM: It is said those clergy who indulge in the school of Epulonism are those most loved by the commons. Known commonly as "Celebrants", those of the Epulone clerical school of thought tend to focus on bettering the lives of the smallfolk. Often they use tithes to host great fairs to celebrate feast days of saints, or strive to improve the living conditions of settlements by assuming stewardship roles in their local communities. They are people-oriented and natural born leaders, using church influence to accomplish social reforms and progress. However, often times an Epulone's attachment to a community can lead to decadence. Epulones are most associated with the Exalted Godfrey and the Scroll of Gospel, as Godfrey's splendor and charitable nature led to a great rise in faith as people associated it with fair and feast. They often bear croziers made of carbarum to symbolize the bounty of the Creator. Prominent Epulones include St. Wilfriche, St. Everard and Blessed High Pontiff Adeodatus. AUGURISM: The most mystic of the clerical schools, Augurism is known for its sages and ascetics. These augurs often wander the realm giving traveling sermons and baptismal rites over the comfortable lifestyle of a parish priest. They forgo luxuries due to deep reverence for the Seven Skies and disdain for the world about them. Their wisdom and perspective often rivals even the most senior clergymen due to their willingness to indulge in their humility. However, Augurs are sometimes viewed with suspicion by more formal priests due to their homely customs and lack of grace. Augurs are most associated with the Exalted Sigmund and the Scroll of Auspice, as Siegmund is regarded to be the most sagely of the exalted and the Book of Auspice's harrowing and somber nature matches its Augur patrons. They often sport croziers made of stone to symbolize their somber sense of humility and the fragility of the world around them. Prominent Augurs include St. Bogdan, St. Amyas, and Blessed Peter.
