So, to all of you freedom loving dwarves out there, following Khorvad is the worst thing you can do when starting out. Make sure you have a very large following and are not in danger of getting crushed. Oh and FYI, if you start, there is no going back. Enjoy!

People take the techlock more seriously than they should, change my mind.

anytime someone makes a suggestion about lifting the techlock under specific circumstances you get people touting the old phrase, "i dont want planes trains and automobiles in my medieval fantasy universe!!" basically saying our only options are no advancement past their idea of medieval technology or instant advancement to modern technology, even though the current technological level is already arbitrary considering we have electricity from redstone but apparently dwarves cant have ironclad steamships (even though dwarves have had steamships for years now)

TechLock is literally fine as it is. The entire reason I'm playing LOTC is because it has that medieval fantasy vibe. I want swords, bows, arrows, and armor. Not guns and airplanes and ******* lasers. Jesus.

slippery slope fallacy, assuming that the techlock concept is binary and the only options are either pure medieval fantasy or hyper-advancement to modern technology
the setting for the server's technological level is already arbitrary, seeing as how we have rudimentary electricity from redstone but cant make basic black powder
i suggest you look at warhammer fantasy or world of warcraft for universes that allow technological advancement but still retain a medieval fantasy vibe

Why do some of the playerbase get a kick out of seeing others suffer and be miserable to the point that they'll go ahead and dox, harrass, or even go into lengths of making alt characters just for the sole purpose of hating a single player group. You could be using your time for something much more important and yet you sit there and act like sh*t heads. Have a little bit of self awareness to your actions and realize you're trying to make people miserable over a roleplay server. At this point most of you can't even deny that you're doing it out of malice. (I mean you still will because you don't want to be banned for harrassment.)

This is your daily reminder that the dominion has yet to give their region owner permissions to Aesopians so that he may conduct his antagonist event in there! It is also the reason why he has been bypassing it in the hopes that they would eventually do it but so far nothing, if they do not then everyone who has will risk getting destroyed whilst the dominion stays perfectly safe which will completely ruin the dangerous aspect of the eventline and set a precedent for pretty much every other region owners to do the same which would lead to a stale and boring eventline.
