  2. Daily Reminder I'm terrible at doing daily reminders when I'm busy licking rocks. Fun fact, I have licked two rocks. Sylvite and Halite. Sylvite is potassium chloride and is a bitter salty taste and halite is rock salt, if you don't know what this is, go watch jimmy neutron. I don't recommend you lick Sylvite.

  5. Derrick wishes he had real life money to commission maps of Atlas for the Map Room in Dragur....because he is in love with whoever made this.
  6. "Guess now's a good time as any to visit the Emperor of Man. Hopefully I can convince him to not give me new neighbors..." says Derrick as he prepares for the trip.
  7. We talked about your first part in the chat, naturally we arent gonna yell at people about cigars and inconsequential things like that. If they WANT to have it, sure, but this moreso applies to mechanical things like potions, and the like. Which is pretty fair and important I'd say.
  8. For nearly three hundred years, has the Library of Dragur stood as a beacon of knowledge and progress for the Descendants of the Four Brothers. Birthed on the continent of Athera in the year 1493 through the efforts of numerous scholars, and of course, the founding pair of Orithur and Aedrix, the Library of Dragur continues to amass, preserve, and spread knowledge as its duty and goal. The Library provides numerous services and immense amounts of information to the citizens of Atlas, with over 1300 unique books as well as nearly 100 artifacts in its collection. Currently the Library is located by the Whispering Crossroads, across the river from the town of Belvitz, barely a day's walk from the Cloud Temple. For those directionly challenged, one may find us on any local map at the coordinates of 220° West, 605° South. The provided Index accounts for the current collection amassed by the Library of Dragur, for specific titles and tomes, please speak with a scholar or librarian on duty at the front desk. They will be happy to assist you. Library of Dragur Public Index Should one wish to take home books for personal reading or collections, the Library of Dragur offers two options of acquiring copies. The First, and the preferred option: Book Trades The Library of Dragur is happy to acquire new knowledge of all forms, so by bringing a unique copy of a book we do not have yet, one can obtain a book from our shelves. Any unique book is acceptable. The second, less preferred option: Purchasing a Copy Should you not have any books to trade-in, the Library charges a 100 mina copy fee per book copied. If you are an established organization, guild, political entity, or nation, the Library of Dragur offers a special bulk deal of a 80 mina copy fee per book copied if ordering more than 20 books to be copied. Naturally, the Library of Dragur is more than happy to assist in the recording of knowledge through the art of book binding and transcription of any form of other paperwork or oral stories. Naturally, as this aids in the preservation of knowledge, this service is entirely free to anyone who wishes to provide such information to us. Our scholars will transcribe this information for you and not only add it to our index and collection, but provide you a personal copy as thanks for your contribution to the Library of Dragur. Speak to any scholar you find in the Library of Dragur to ask about this service. ((Google Docs, Forums Posts, some chicken scratch you scrawled on a napkin, you provide it, we'll write it.)) For those who wish to contribute to the Library of Dragur with more dedication than simply trading books, the positions of Scholars are open to those who wish to work the halls of the Library. Scholars preserve, record, transcribe, seek, and spread knowledge in and out of the Library. They act as emissaries, adventurers, and academics of the Library of Dragur to expand it's collection by, for example, meeting with locals to learn their traditional stories, work in a laboratory to study the forces of the world, or seek out ancient ruins for old records and secrets. We have so many questions to ask, and even more answers leading into new questions. Knowledge must be uncovered and preserved for the good of all. This is the Scholar's task. The application process is as follows: Any prospective scholar must be able to provide a personal work of sufficient quality prior to the interview process to verify their ability to work for the library. Once a book has been provided, the prospective scholar will be interviewed and evaluated, as well as be informed of their responsibilities at the Library of Dragur. If the prospective scholar is deemed suitable for the position, they will be recognized as Scholar of Dragur and may pick or be assigned a topic to focus upon and research while they work at the Library. Moving upwards in the Library is possible, should certain requirements be fulfilled, promotions to Librarian may be offered where responsibilities expand into management of the Scholars and interviews when the Head Librarian is unavailable. The Library of Dragur is always seeking new Scholars to assist in the acquisition of knowledge. If you wish to become a Scholar, inquire within at the Library of Dragur when the Head Librarian is available or leave a message via a note at the Library. ((Or message me on the forums or Discord)) See you soon, and Welcome to the Library, - Derrick Bell (Lark #9762), Head Librarian of the Library of Dragur ((Credits to Pandann and Wretched for creating the Library of Dragur post for Atlas)) Legacy Video

  17. Derrick scratches his chin, "Axios was decades ago...Someone needs to get with the times...and the geography."
  18. A suit of armor flickers into existence once more, blood on iron calling his hammer once more. A crow caws as red smoke sputters from beneath the black armor, "Carry...on..Carrion..Ave Orenia." Meanwhile Derrick ponders, wondering if its a good idea to start looking for a new job in some noble courts as a scholar...

  20. Hi, Slayersteel writer here. You're incorrect in that Slayersteel is actually more Gold than Iron. It's meant to be GOLD strengthened alloy not an IRON LADEN WITH GOLD alloy. As everyone seems to assume which I hate. Regardless, I don't particularly like the lore as I see no real point for it. Nice piece, just not on LotC.
