Since players are not allowed to have their characters mingle with each other's storyline. Does this prevent someone from playing a distant cousin of their main character? Like, can my character Barbu be a distant relative of my main Vuln?

Just saying, you can't automatically make yourself 'experts' in stealth by joining this group. That's like me becoming a T5 Mage because i just joined the mages guild. You have to practice and train. Also as a tip, just because you make a guild post doesn't mean everything in it is canon. Or even realistic.

Please, I spent hours this weekend hunting for Graveyards in semi-populated areas to do a little grave robbing. The only graveside I found was for a Dread Knight. Ain't no bones to steal there.

Someone should write a guide to being a bandit. It's so awkward for me to trying to generate good RP that isn't like 'Minas or Die'. Or maybe some tips on how to Socially Engineer others to follow you to a better area for slaughter/robbery/mugging/cupcakes

Isn't conjuration about creating living things? And it's not like I'm asking for this to get its own little slot on the Magic Plugin. It doesn't bother me if Acidmancers have to use the Water Evocation tree or something similar. I'm just attempted to get this to be cannon so other people can enjoy a new kind of magic.

I should also mention that some acids like Sulfuric Acid is formed by erupting volcanoes. So it does occur naturally. That is just one example, I bet a simple google search with show that other forms of acid are formed naturally. Edit- I also wanted to mention, Acid Mages have been done in other games such as D&D: http://dungeons.wikia.com/wiki/Acid_Mage_(3.5e_Class) Granted, that is a custom class. But this is also custom lore. 2xEdit- Here is an example of what an Acidmancer can study that spawns naturally in the LotC universe: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/92842-completelore-blobs-and-oozes/?hl=slimes An acidmancer could study oozes, then magnify their acidic nature with their alchemy knowledge. So really this is what we got. An Acidmancer can study and examine both Oozes AND man-made acids just like how a geomancer would study the earth or a hydromancer would study water. Only, an Acidmancer would have an even GREATER knowledge of their element as they know the chemical makeup of what acid they are trying to evoke which is something that pyromancers and electromancers DON'T know. It doesn't break evocation lore to my knowledge, and for God's Sake, we have BEARDMANCY. They are evoking testosterone into their bodies to make their beards grow. I don't see how an Acidmancer can't evoke acid into the material world. I feel as if I was trying to write lore for evoking candy or something else that was childish, there wouldn't be a problem. We have magics that allow people to become 8 foot tall suits of armor that can only be killed by being thrown in lava, Druids who can shapeshift into crazy animals, and are at war with a corrupted DRAKE which is as strong as the Aenguldaemons. But it doesn't make sense for the LotC world to have Acidmancers. Finally, it was mentioned that it would make Alchemists obsolete? With Acidmancy a tier 5 could summon enough acid to be like three foot in diameter as a MAX, while alchemists can make barrels and barrels of acid. Though, I used to be a regular at the local Alchemist and never saw him sell a single vial of acid. It was always Alchemist fire. Maybe we should ban Pyromancy so the Alchemist Fire isn't obsolete?

I agree with you on that. Everything is OP in theory. I think acid RP should atleast get a Trial Run. Then if it is obviously OP then get rid of it. Like you said, I could win every battle as a Shaman by moving the air around your head until you suffocate. A Earth Evocationist could encase your head in stone. Electricity could probably stop your heart if it is strong enough. Priests can heal missing LIMBS. Even Illusion allows you to be cheap and just blind the person as you stab them. All magic can be OP. I suggest judging things by testing them, not by the theory that it is over powered. We have already 'proved' that you could study acid enough to artificially create it. Why not be able to shape the void into what you can make in a lab?

Right, so you would probably have a BETTER chance understanding acid than you would say electricity, because you can artificially make it. But it could be OP. Because it is designed to fight armored people, which electromancer already to really well, and has the ability to chew through metals (Except Mage Gold and Obsidian). I think that is the main problem, how Over Powered it could be. Because like you pointed out, it does fit Evocation lore.

Like I said before, I couldn't care less if it was accepted. Just spewing out ideas. But I do wonder how one can find Raw Energy to study in the material realm, but an acidmancer wouldn't be able to study alchemist's acids and maybe sulfur since it is commonly used in creating steel, glass, explosives, and even animal feed. Which is all probably apart of the lore. (Steel weapons, glass windows, explosive fireworks and the old TnT, animal feed is a stretch though.)

Can someone explain to me how a character becomes a Priest Healer? It seems you are blessed by your god/patrons? What makes your character special from the dozens of other characters who pray constantly?

There are two types of priest healing. The creator healing where they believe they get it from the creator but really get it from some random aengul and still apparently are able to do whatever evil they wish and the Tahariae clerics which get it from the aengul Tahariae. It's more than being blessed or praying constantly or even being pious. Atleast with Tahariae they are devoting their life to it devoting their life to a rather zealous aengul who in the end stages are almost extensions...

I'm thinking the Avatar the Last Airbender, Air Bubble thing that Aang locked himself in for 100 years or whatever. Nearly impenetrable, but you can't move. But still sounds cool to me. My question is, could you focus the avatar thing around specific areas? Is it possible, for instance, to encase one's arm in fire using this technique?

Yea, I don't even want to argue the points. And for the record, someone said it came up three times already... two were probably from me. But I see no reason why overspecialization hurts. It could be pretty useful to certain people (I don't even plan on using it. I even used my own character to give an example of how to kill him :P) idk. I guess I'd just like to be shot with acid as a DK more than begin trampled by horses or smacked with the warhammers that everyone keeps in their pockets :3
