    Being a GM isn't a popularity contest, and I would never want to see it become one. The community, if they hold strong feelings regarding an applicant, explain why. "+1 this guy!" doesn't give me the information I need. Here's to going forward, hopefully you guys heed my suggestion.

      tbh if it's just a popularity contest with admins and GMs, with the trial to knock out those who aren't living up to expectations, I don't see why it's outrageous to allow the community a choice, as the process would only be changed with who it was popular with.

      It should be damn well known accepting people into the team whom the community isn't fond of will produce poor results. This has happened like five times now, two of which was for admins.
