Honestly a lot of LOTC's problems come down to not having enough coding effort (Although if they wanted to bring pits back as a temporary bandaid for block scarcity I think mods could do that maybe?)
I'd be fine with a big donation drive to hire a coder for the server or something, or give the coders a slight monetary remuneration so that more people want to code for the server, =

@Hiebe Edited my latest reply to you as to touch on an important point. You say that there will be no Belvitz “fiasco” or crossroad towns as assurance that my concerns are unfounded, but those are positive things! The point of designing roads based on natural growth and implementing racial spawns (or something close to them) is so that nation capitals become the places with natural positioning, instead of lucky freebuilds.

Belvitz only happened cause old world devs on the team claimed the best and closest spot to spawn thay took advantage of player movement to capitalize on getting new players before others. That's why we are going to having no nations in front of each other and preventing any free build spots from siphoning players. Giving each nation the fairest access to players we can.

@pbuh Perhaps but maybe with my help we can take it somewhere, I spent a week building the new CT and I’m willing to blow the thing up if it means people will actually be able to find RP more readily – I’d make the thread myself but you have a better grasp of what has been happening on the server the past few maps.

@pbuh I am in support of your ideas. Having there be racial spawns instead of CT spawns gets rid of most CT roleplaying and puts that extra roleplay right into whatever settlements need it. Also, it would get rid of any favoritism due to the CT placement/layout and help new players find communities for them. On top of this, by ensuring that people actually reach and roleplay in the major settlements of their race, it could help communities bounce back into relevancy if they try hard enough to attract players.
