I am bringing it up because a lot of people use 'orcish honor' as in being right in killing anyone who is weaker than you. Even with Bushido or European Chivalry, respect for yourself and respect for others is the basis of it and the heroes that are archetypes of honor often perform actions that almost make them seem humble. I also bring it up because I do not think that when the Wandering Wizard blessed the orcs with honor to combat their blood lust he had in mind orcish culture (Which probably took centuries after to develop into it's modern form) specifically, which Divine was trying to use to justify why it would be so hard for other races to get into the Stargush Stroh. I may have misinterpreted what Divine said, but it did seem that he was putting orcish culture over honor.

@DivineJustice, you might want to look into how many dark elves venerate ancestors before making that claim. Most of Ker'nor ,and I believe the Warhawkes, venerate ancestors. I also noticed that the term 'orcish honor' is getting thrown around a lot so I am going to toss this here: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/honor So unless you mean orcish sense of honor as in their cultural way of showing respect or what one looks like when they have respect I suggest you refrain from using the term 'orcish honor'

Was the lore for Apohet retconned or something? I honestly thought that daemon made his own realm for the honorable to spite Aeriel

Lore wise there are a few things wrong with Adunians, namely the fact that they don't have extended lives because of the elven blessing.

Half breeds being infertile honestly makes sense. The races are so genetically different that the varied bodies can cause complications in the birthing process, it would make less sense if they were not literal races.

Farseer could be seen as a level above lutamen. Reading the lore it almost seems as though farseer is more or so a title for a shaman who is very familiar with the spirits

Could be seen more like a focusing rather than strengthening, realizing potential, and a then a refocusing once it is realized. Could relate that to the idea of a mortal ascending to become an aengul (I actually have no clue how this works), they realize the power of their soul and are able to maintain that focus on just one thing.

In terms of a passive art, you could go along with the aikido idea of only using joint locks and throws to incapacitate your opponent and believing that using actual strikes damages you as a person. As for the use of chi in this lore, you could say that you actually do tap into your own soul's power. Past lore has implied that the soul's power can be used (arcane magic) but only in a limited way. You could say this limited way of his using chi is to basically make your soul's power to bump the other soul's power, an unusual event that causes the soul to be momentarily confused (outwardly the person could seem dazed). That idea could be interesting as you could say that this technique is useless against other people who have mastered this technique. You might even be able to say that this disruption could be used to propel one's self of off disturbed energy

You might be trying to add them because it makes sense to add that connection, but it really does seem to subtract. It's ancient, origin lore, so such things really should not be included. You can have the names like Valulei, Azul, and Malin because they are legendary figures. All the family names added and even calling the force that aided Valulei 'ordinators' really only make unnecessary connections that will be looked at, once all those names can really only be remembered within that one dark elven group, as cheap attempts to validate something. It is known how dark elves became dark elves and we have a legendary hero and foe that pertain to dark elves, nothing more is needed.

Just let them exist outside of origin lore, they can take a backseat in this one

While it is a bit odd that the ascended cannot affect the matumdag, I still like this lore because the other weaknesses provided and the nature of this creature gives me the impression that it will provide very dynamic roleplay for both the holy magic users and the normal people. +1

Going a bit elder scrolls, but.... Add a weakness to sunlight (perhaps the legend about the sun being an aengul is true?), instead of growing stronger (and less sane) by drinking blood you could go with not drinking blood will make them stronger (forces the player to actively seek out and drink blood to keep from being found out while at the same time putting them at risk of being found out), and maybe add the fact that they don't like acrid smells (make up a few, tell a few others about it, and then shut up about it) to act as a sort of vampire repellent. Sure some of these suggestions seem silly and kinda rip off from other games, but having it this way (I think) will make for a very interesting and dynamic monster due to the way the player would have to approach rp. Also, add an extreme time limit between normal vampirism to greater so that it keeps players from really having to go into the ET/LM permission side of things.

Seems like the main problem with insanity being rp'ed is that they take the anime, stupidly wide grin sort of insanity. Yes, there are disorders such as schizophrenia in which you react inappropriately to certain situations and perhaps seem chaotic, but there is no disorder where someone is the spawn of satan meant to cause terror and spill people's intestines... Well, that is possible, but there are still other characteristics that would contribute to such that the typically seen anime depiction totally ignores

Denying something just because it can be used for combat is just silly because, as we saw with beardmancy, anything can be used combatively. Imagine the kind of rp that could occur from this asides from the over prevalent combative view; scouts can make maps and find hidden things, people have elytra races with complex obstacle, perhaps have an interesting date.

This is a fantasy server with very different factors affecting reality which means certain things can be achieved at a different rate than our own. Also, what fantasy universe doesn't have some sort of flying vehicle? I mean really people ITS FANTASY

For the sake of fun and no other reason... We need this. Seriously though, we need more fun things instead of just combative magics and other things for the sole purpose of winning
