House Tully of Riverun Lord: Ser Edmure Tully Heir: Ser Brynden ‘The Blackfish’ Tully Seat: Riverrun Words: Family, Duty, Honor Riverun The army of the Riverlands began to prepare for a long march by the orders of Ser Edmure Tully. Lord Blackfish would prepare the men while also chatting up with Randyll Tarly before the news would be told towards Ser Edmure of his fathers’ passing leaving him officially being the Lord of Riverun. Ser Edmure began to order his Castellan to prepare for a quick funeral for his father before they moved out. At the funeral, Hoster’s body is put in a boat by Ser Edmure Tully along with a few of his vassals in the Riverlands. Later Hoster’s armor, shield, sword, hunting horn, and a wooden sword are added to the boat. Edmure would later continue the custom ceremony liting an arrow to light the sails as the boat traveled down the river. Though Edmure would miss three shots in grief before his uncle, the Blackfish, took the bow who would then light the sails for his brother. After the Funeral, Ser Edmure would become a bit surly due to his fathers’ death though would keep to his duties as Lord. As the army prepared to move out he’d send two different ravens up towards the North. House Tully of Riverun Lord: Hoster Tully Regent/Heir: Ser Edmure Tully Seat: Riverrun Family Words: Family, Duty, Honor Riverun | Riverrun Castle | After the wedding between Stark and Tyrell, Ser Edmure begins to think of him potentially getting married soon. Though as the wedding ended he’d begin to make his way towards the hall where he’d begin to talk with the fellow lords of the Kingdom of the North-Trident. Once the meeting was over, Ser Edmure begins to reflect on how his lands has suffered throughout this war before he’d make preparations for what could potentially come to his lands. While he remained in his halls for a short time his Castellan came to him giving to him the news of Jamie Lannister not being found in his cell before the order of releasing the hostages was called. Due to recent events though Edmure would care less about someone releasing him before he’d begun sending out scouting parties to find Jamie in order to help him to get to Casterly Rock while also scouting his own lands for potential invasions. House Tully of Riverun Lord: Hoster Tully Regent/Heir: Ser Edmure Tully Seat: Riverrun Words: Family, Duty, Honor The Battle of the Fords - 8/13 - 8/20 (the) Battle of the Fords was an outstanding victory for the Riverlands as the battle ensured that Lord Tywin’s army couldn’t cross the River to attack the King from the back. The first battle started with a Lannister force attempting to cross various locations between Riverrun and Red Fork. House Mallister and Brax would repel the small force with bows and scorpions. As the first battle ended the battle at Stone Mill began where the Vanguard led by Gregor Clegane and Vargo Hoat managing to cross the river. Once the Vanguard took their foothold they'd be met with nothing but arrows while a shield wall was formed by the Tully host The battle continued to rage on with the Tully’s holding strong before the scorpions from the woods made their appearance beginning to target the main leader of the Vanguard, the Mountain. After a long few days, the battle was finally won with Lord Tywin calling a quick withdrawal and Vargo Hoat along with Armory Loch captured, and Gregor Clegane’s whereabouts unknown. As Ser Edmure took the helm of his family due to his father's illness he would begin to make ready for what is to come. Meanwhile, Edmure Tully would send a defensive force to defend the Riverlands in the Battle of Golden Tooth resulting in a Lannister victory. As Edmure retreated his forces back to Riverrun, Jamie Lannister would begin an attempt to siege Riverun. While the siege began to make ready, Ser Brynden Tully would go to his great-nephew, Robb Stark, which would result in them breaking the siege of Riverun along with capturing Jamie Lannister at the Battle of Whispering Wood.
