will never understand people who read and write LoTC lore (VaatiVidya for people who stack even less paper). this information is straight up not valuable; most of it empty verbiage with no payoff, not even the expectation that some piece of it might be useful for traversing the in-game world. its only application seems to be limiting the scope of what other players can create.

yeah, that's fair. I think it swings too far towards limitation too often, and for reasons that are internally inconsistent. but that's not worth discussing on forum status shitposts
@Kuila just happy as long as someone is having fun here. the lore writing process on this server seems so catty and vicious!

can agree with you there.
Theres lots of hoops to jump through and I’m probably a little biased as an ST; but I do understand why they are there, and think (personally) that they’re for the better. Lots of talented writers here that don’t get to see their lore/stories come to fruition though and that’s always a disappointment
