figuring out how heavily the server leans into the d&d-ish fantasy stuff or one-to-one reality is very confusing and stupidly often depends on who you're roleplaying with as it's often decided colloquially among player groups rather than as per rules. it's really unhelpful for newer players i usually lean towards fairly rigid realism myself.
