  1. @Llir
I can paypal you some money for the update to be done tonight...

  2. A diligent guardsman would patrol the roads to Grense and around the surrounding lands. Joren Hofmeijer of the Grensewacht stayed ever vigilant for darkspawn, and Haenseni hired raiders.
  3. “Axes! Axes! AXES!” Targoth Jreg’Gorkil - Siege of Hallowcliffe (190 SA) The Krughai “Krughai,” warrior in the common tongue, is the honorific delivered to those born of Krug or deemed worthy adversary. Long have the Uruk upheld the tradition of battle, honor, and righteous bloodshed. Through extensive training, tests of willpower, the staying of the blade, and the ENIGMA OF BATTLE; the Urukhai have developed the most powerful extensive and sought-after military culture on Braevos. WHAT IS THE “ENIGMA OF BATTLE?” The “ENIGMA OF BATTLE” is the fundamental question every Krughai must ask himself when tasting the beautiful death; and they must have the answer at the hall of Stargush lest Krug himself laugh at their folly and see their exile from Ancestral Plains. Behind every Krughai’s decision is this thought, esoteric in creation to test the intelligence, wisdom, and bravery of the Krughai. It is the attempt to achieve this ENIGMA that separates the Krughai from the common levy of the other kingdoms. For any self-respecting Uruk would die before succumbing to cravenhearted decisions. ON THE MILITARY TRAINING OF THE KRUGHAI Krughai are regularly tested in their mettle, on and off the battlefield. In fact the warrior culture of the Uruk is such that it is quite impossible that a week might pass that an honorable competition of arms will have not taken place. However it is important to note that bloodshed is not the primary goal of the Krughai, neither is the slaying of innocents. It is HONORABLE and RIGHTEOUS COMPETITION that the Uruk craves. For the Krughai teaches of “the staying of the blade,” an act wherein the Uruk despite superior skill and knowledge will actively de-escalate violence in order to achieve a pleasant outcome. It is the curse of all Uruks to crave blood, and their blessing of strength and will to stay their hands. The Uruk regularly meet on the field of battle to test their might amongst themselves and their allies, and while the occasional accident may occur this is primarily in the goal of achieving a more unified and tested force. Regular trainings are hosted once or twice weekly, and duels take place daily in the Goi. ON THE COMMAND OF THE KRUGHAI The Krughai is a loosely based hierarchy of command, though what hierarchy does exist is utterly respected and the delegation of orders are expected to be followed lest DISHONOR mar the Krughai. THE INITIATE The Initiate is an Uruk or Honorary unblooded in battle, an individual who, though demonstrating willingness to fight, has not achieved the status of KRUGHAI. It is not long an Uruk remains an Initiate. THE KRUGHAI Krughai, warrior, is a blooded Uruk or Honorary who has achieved some prowess or skill in battle. The majority of the might of the army is funneled into the ranks of the disciplined Krughai. Any who achieve this rank are expected to follow orders, deliver justice, and be brave leal warriors. They are among the most respected in Uruk society, even given tribute compensation for their service. THE YUHLHAI The Yuhlhai, translating to ‘Agreed Warriors’ in common, is an honorific granted to those with the most combat experience. It is the life achievement of all Krughai to one day be embraced as Yuhlhai and be allowed to wield the respected battle cry of all brothers. These Krughai serve as the founding block from which all others build themselves in model of. -=- -=- Founding of Lurakahn, Capital of the Khanate - 195 SA THE REXKHAN AND TARGOTH The supreme commanders of all Krughai, they are expected to serve the Khanate and Dominion ON AND OFF the field of battle. A Targoth is expected to oversee large training procedures and keep those under his command in control and instill discipline. The Targoth is expected to always have the Krughai ready for Wahg. A Rexkhan is not expected to always claim victory but expected to be the most loyal, proactive, and wise of the Krughai making just and honorable decisions in the advancement of Urukhai. Seek Out The Khan, Dominus, or Targoth to Enlist
  4. Jreg'Gorkil would hold out a candle admist a crowd hearing the live performance of this song. He was indeed grooving to the song.
  5. As much as this is a nice thought. What stops people from just coordinating more further in secret? Are you just gonna mandate searching people's DMs to sniff out potential OOC collusion?
  6. "Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. WAITING!" Faenor would slam his head into a tree over and over and over, before eventually knocking himself out in the woods. It seemed the Pontiff was simply just prolonging the inevitable.
  7. "So be it, if the Farfolk Heartlanders wish to throw their young men and women to the funeral pyres, it is on them," Faenor would hear of the missive as he was still camped out north of Enswerp, waiting for the fateful siege to come in a few saint's days. He divulges himself in his books of the voidal arts.
  8. "Words solve nothing but kick the problems down the road for future headaches," Faenor would state after learning of the Cardinal's missive in the growing warcamp before the borders to Enswerp. "Let the present be decided through iron and blood." Adjusting his shortsword and spear, he sets out in preparation for the first campaign.
  9. Noooo! My tea parties! How could you do this @moosehunter123!?

  10. No I think you need to expand your concept of how people enjoy their mediums of roleplay. Some tell stories through big battles, some paragraph post. If you want to chase people out for differing opinions, whatever man.
  11. I think there’s a black sheep answer people are ignoring. Culturally people want to win their conflict encounters be it pvp or crp. In the present, at least in my experience, people will make whatever combat form uncomfortable and unpleasant if they are at fundamental odds. Hence you see raids have all but died out due to the raided party simply running into tunnels and waiting out the timer, or simply logging out to avoid interactions. It happens inversely with CRP too in which it might simply be worded to a point where conflict will drag on for literal irl hours. The last statement is simply an abhorrent exposure to your personal opinions. Telling people to go off server to enjoy a median simply is unhealthy for population in the long run. Rather we should have a conversation regarding why we simply cannot have the right to chose if aggressed upon. Not once in my statements have I advocated for pvp default. You misunderstand my meaning. I simply want people to the right to choose how they interact with conflict when aggressed upon. Im glad you had a cool and fun crp raid. I just personally don’t enjoy reading through mashed lines of paragraphs if this were a non agreed upon conflict scenario that was more organic, i.e. an out of the blue raid on a nation capital by the usual suspects of teal bandannas. But what if they want to fight back, but in a quick manner that allows for their enjoyment to be sated? Mech flee means the fleeing party essentially has to kite away, which might be fun for some but not all.
  12. I dont know what this even is suppose to mean. Its comments like this passive aggressiveness with their head in a shell stance that prevents actual productive conversation. If you were to actually interact with people outside of a niche grouping of ooc acquainted ppl and be an antag to someone you’ve no affiliation with, you’d likely find the same issues on a day to day. Maybe not all but they will be there. The amount of “Can we not do this,” in looc from simply walking up on a guy is getting to the point where its expected. And even getting them to interact to conflict becomes a game of clipping a cat’s claws. Painful and drawn out. As cheese states. The view is entirely cultural and subjective to one’s experiences.
  13. My gripe with crp is the fundamental lack of a timed system for emotes. Any crp that happens outside of a controlled environment between two mutually consenting parties devolves into frothing looc arguments that require mod intervention. Im glad you are having fun jentos, but I have yet to have an actual enjoyable crp encounter outside of a ST event. I am not for pvp default in the slightest means. However in the realistic lively scenarios I have dealt with, I don't think solely crp is viable. Your argument from pvp scenarios being uneventful and boring is personal to your opinion which is not shared with me. You have your own enjoyment I have mine. Some of my most memorable events are from raids that have shaped the story of humanity and the geopolitics at large. But as I find the times changing to this carebear mindset perhaps this truly is not a place for me anymore. Nor is it welcoming to those who have a view to more simpler means.
  14. 100% My opinion is that defender default gave the option of choice. If I were to have little time, say an hour before work, and I were to be rolled up on (this never happens) I want the choice to pvp to defend my minecraft pixels and rp dignity. If I the pvp goon go and rob a crp enjoyer and they want to crp then that's what will happen. Let players who are initiated on in conflict scenarios choose their preferred methods.
  15. Faenor would read over the contents of the missive. A mirthful smirk crosses his lips, "Tiberias you've sure a way of provocation." he'd state to himself as he sat at the fire in the Solgaard camp. Tossing the missive to the side he'd go to begin to sharpen his knife in preperation to dig into the freshly roasted venison before him.
  16. "Nothing ever happens," Fynn af Petra simply states staring at the abysmal peace deal. @seannie
  17. Jreg’Gorkil’s eyes gazed over the lifeless corpse of the she-rex, “I have seen enough death.” He would mutter to himself. The veteran uruk of the Midden War, Westmark, Vikela’s Subjugation, Hallowcliffe. Jreg would leave the tent; he hadn’t seen Daahd weep for his daughter, but perhaps it was just his way. Heading over to the battlements of the Goi, he would deadpan stare out over the murky oasis’s waters. As the waters lapped against the sandy bank, Jreg's eyes wept for the young she-rex. Alone and away from prying eyes.
  18. "The time is now comrades, the monarchists will be squashed beneath the heels of patriots! Nay to crowns! The only king we serve is GOD! Rally for our heartland needs us!" Fynn of Petra would call out to a band of assembled PRF militia.
  19. "The halfbreeds may live long, but they bleed all the same," Fynn af Petra would remark after handily slaughtering farm cattle in the Numendil fields.
  20. Fynn af Petra would cook up some nice propaganda to hopefully rally the Republicans, and their new United Front.
