"I am Diana Fogbranch,"
Diana begins. She stands upon a thin box and proclaims her message to the town.
"In concordance with the messages delivered by my compatriots, I shall begin by proclaiming my age. I humbly boast a thin sliver of years compared to many Elves, holding only fifty under my proverbial belt of wisdom; however, my naturally heterochromatic eyes have seen more than fifty years of tribulations. To my town, my people, and my government, I proclaim the following.."
Diana pauses, and takes a slow inhale to draw the attention from those who watch to her speech.
"Curuven is the most apt candidate for the Legislator position! His dedication to the guard is apparent. Although his tendencies towards women may be odd, I give my oath that he is firmly dedicated to the safety of each and everyone of our root-born Elven hearts. He seeks a safe and orderly Cerulin even now under the direction of the brilliant military leader of Tristin Tresery. His work within the guard has seen clear improvement since his introduction to our ranks over two Elven weeks ago.
Organization is the enemy of chaos, friends. You know in your orderly hearts that those who open the door to action without considered cause or practical system are as good as those who may burn trees at their feet! You and I have every opportunity ahead of us to fletch a true city of unbreakable bows of trees that rise higher than any Elves have stared to before! Come with us, hand in hand, and whittle the Cerulin you wish to see with your calloused hands. We have suffered enough already, it is time! Time now for tears of joy to nourish the earth beneath our smiles and the canopies above them. Time now to create what we deserved! Time now to let sighs roll from our lungs and enjoy the taste of merry drink."
Diana pauses once more, nodding to those who maintain focus.
"I submit myself to work under Curuven as his Laurir of Archives. I will keep neat and orderly information that all Mali may peruse for their comfort and to sate their curiosity.
Come with me, Mali'ame. It is all of our duties to take steps towards a more prosperous population, a more lawful Laureh'lin, and to craft Cerulin from our hearts intertwined."
Diana steps from her box and collects it. She struts off with a determined gleam in her eyes.
