  1. Play my Orc’s Kids! So, for context, I play Shakul’Gorkil, the Ex-Rex and overall old orc. I actually have a high standard for my kids, (If you want to play a temporary, somewhat silly orc character feel free to follow up with Keldrith or Textarea), and I only want people who are genuinely interested in Orcish RP, culture, etc, to apply for these characters. Here’s the list of characters, and this will be updated as time goes on. Additionally, unless you feel strongly otherwise and want to make your own skins, I can provide you with skins for the character! Half-Braduk This particular line of children are ½ bloodline Braduk meaning that they can grow to a slightly larger size than the average orc (capping out at around 8’5”), with me (Dragonslayerelf) as the father and Kotturrik’Braduk (1_Language_1) as the mother. The mother is dead and has been for some time, as she died during the Clan Wars. Zralah’Gorkil – Taken by Toodles – ~46 year old female yellow orc. – Born in 1681 Maugoth’Braduk – Open – ~46 year old male yellow orc as of this post – Born in 1681 Chazak’Gorkil – Taken by longfellow4 – ~42 year old male yellow orc – Born in 1685 Madak’Braduk – Taken by 1_Language_1 – ~42 year old female yellow orc – Born in 1685 ¼ Dark Elf This line of children are ¼ dark elf (on their mother’s side obviously) and would be smaller and less built than the average orc. They are unable to be played as of yet considering they are still yet to be born, however, I will start accepting applications and intiating people into the lore and culture on Discord. The father is obviously me, and the mother is Noka’Lur (bookstarz), the Chieftain and former Warlord of Lur who is ½ dark elvish, ½ orc. They will grow to be smaller than the largest of orcs, capping out at around 7’2”, and will also be yellow. Chozek’Gorkil – Taken by Novastral – 2 year old baby (muted yellow male) – To be born in 1728 Natzud’Gorkil – Taken by ninjaclimb1 – 2 year old baby (muted yellow male) – To be born in 1728 [?]’Lur – Taken by DummThicc – 2 year old baby (muted yellow female) – To be born in 1728 This will be updated over time as Shakul’Gorkil has more children. OOC So here’s the application format MC Name: Character Name: Discord (Can be PM’d on the forums if you want it to be kept private): Interest in Orcish RP: Experience with Orcish RP: Impression of Orcs:
  2. How to Blah the Blah in 3 Easy Steps! As an Orcish RPer, I’ve noticed that a lot of people struggle understanding and implementing the blah into their RPer, so I figured I’d just write a guide for those players who are attempting to understand an orcish RPer or attempting to speak the blah as a new Orc. So, this will be a very short, simple post because the blah is actually a lot simpler than people think! Step 1: Read the wiki page The wiki page contains plenty of helpful information about the blah such as certain words, helpful tips and the like. While certain words aren’t used any more (for example, no one says ‘dabu’), it gives a good sense of the meaning of the words that are used. https://wikia.lordofthecraft.net/index.php?title=Blah Reading the page, you can begin to make basic sentences like this sentence, which will be sued as an example for the rest of the guide. “Mi gruk how to blah the blah a little bit hosher now that mi have peeped the page.” Step 2: Use certain letters instead of others An integral part of speaking the blah is replacing certain letters you’d use typing normally with others or other sets of letters. S’s are often replaced with z’s, c’s with k’s, u’s instead of o’s (in words like ‘Rexdom, whenever its making the ‘uh’ sound), iy instead of ie, ay instead of ei, ee instead of ea, ur instead of er, two k’s instead of ck, and d instead of t when its at the end of a word (as long as it still makes sense). There are other nicher parts that you will learn with prolonged RP with orcs. Continuing with the example from the previous step, we can transform that into “Mi gruk huw tu blah thuh blah a little bid hozhur now.” Step 3: Use certain words and technically incorrect grammatical phrases. Another important part of Blah is the fact that it is not always grammatically correct or spelled correctly, though it is still determinable from its original form. An example of this is using the word ‘duh’ or ‘dah’ instead of ‘the’, ‘liddul’ instead of ‘little’, and other examples that, knowing what you know about what letters to use, make sense with the sound of the word when melded with the general sound of blah. Additionally, the use of ‘am’ instead of many other comparable words can cause sentences to buckle a little bit under the normal rules of grammar. (Dat am nub’hosh, wi am ztrungur dehn lat). However, with this final step, we can turn that sentence into something you’d likely see an orc say: “Mi gruk huw tu blah dah blah ah liddul bid hozhur nuw.” And that’s it. Hopefully this helps you understand blah just a little bit more, and happy RPing!
  3. My Gorkil main character has 2 unplayed children, one who’s a Braduk male called Maugoth’Braduk and one who is just an unnamed Gorkil, both would be around the age of 40. PM me on discord if you’re interested (Dragonslayerelf#4334), I can set you up with a skin of the proper skin color and stuff.

  6. “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it” ~Voltaire~ Well, here it is. The end of my long tenure as ET. No, it is not because I am stressed. No, it is not because I can’t keep up with the quota. No, it’s not because of IRL issues. It’s because the staff has become a restricting body that I can no longer respect, no longer support, and, as a result, no longer be a member of. In my heart, I am an American. An American that believes in a certain set of rights that are inalienable. The staff, by their own doing, has alienated these rights. The chain-and-ball of the ‘staff & community guidelines’, that, once upon a time, were guidelines, have become the straitjacket of all members of the staff. They have taken away any staff members’ 1st amendment right, the one enshrined globally by all freedom-loving democracies. The right to free speech. I don’t care if you don’t agree with what I say, find it hostile, find it displeasing, but this fundamental right, believed to be so by brilliant minds such as Voltaire and Locke, has been fundamentally violated. Therefore, I sign this letter of resignation before the admins lock me away and say it was for the betterment of the server, that I was a hostile, toxic, radicalized writer of forum posts. I, Dragonslayerelf, officially resign from the ET. Take off the straitjacket; Take off the shackles; There will be no use for them, for I am free.
  7. Fixed. IRL I know almost nothing about drugs aside from the fact that they’re addictive, so I’ve edited it! Thank you for the feedback.
  8. UV rays cause it to wither away (or just Aztran’s influence via the sun.) It’s not a ‘reskin of cactus green but unique to my clan’ kinda thing. It’s not even meant to be unique to my clan; I want other cultures using this lore. However, as it would currently be implemented, it serves an influential point in the culture of the Shrogos. We don’t even have shamans, but we do have Mushobs, which are spiritual leaders that basically just get everyone high on this crap and interpret their drug trips after, usually something along the lines of “Luara blezzez lat!” or “Luara peepz lat needz moa’ worshippin’! Go sacrifice someskah!” However, more than that, it’s also used as a method of receiving ‘visions’ that often fuel occasions and events that I do with the clan. TL;DR It’s not that, but if any shrogos or anyone who uses the drug becomes a shaman, it’s a nice feature to have.
  9. Psilocybin Schnibea Origin The Schnibea mushroom, known to the Goblins of Clan Shrogo as the “Mad Cap” mushroom, is a form of highly hallucinogenic mushroom native to the distant island the Shrogos came from, and have since entered the ecosystem as an invasive species of mushroom in all the lands that they have gone to, chief among them being Atlas. Bourne across the oceans by the great migration of the Shrogos, the mushroom has been used for a great many purposes by the clan and can be utilised by others for much of the same purposes. General Facts The mushroom thrives in moist caves where dead things may be stored, and can thrive in places like dark pantries or larders if a sampling was brought near them. If the conditions are ideal, and it has the space, the Schnibea mushroom can grow to be the size of a small tree over many years, however, a naturally grown mushroom will never reach this size as it competes with itself in nature for nutrients. If the mushroom is brought into the light of the sun, it will wither away, however, artificial light and firelight do it no harm. The mushroom, when kept in a dark environment, even independent of the ground, can last for long periods of time and retain its potency. Appearance The Schnibea mushroom comes in two varieties, a brown and a red variety, both of which compete with each other in nature. It is unknown whether these are 2 different species or the same type of mushroom, however, they both have the same effect. The stalk of the Schnibea mushroom is consistently a bonish white, and can be as hard as wood at room temperature. Effects The effects of the mushroom are induced only by eating it and/or smoking it, but cannot be induced by any other means. They include hallucinations that can be either positive or negative, a relative physical strengthening or weakening of the body, (typically induced by muting or enhancing the mind’s response to pain and thus enabling users to perform greater feats of strength at the risk of harming themselves as well as causing them to be completely disabled as they writhe on the floor in pain) depending upon the mind’s response to the hallucination, and, after prolonged use, decreased resistance to the sun as it causes the melanin of the user to decrease progressively, as well as mild insomnia. When under the influence of the hallucination and the body begins to produce adrenaline, the user will grow irrationally furious and enter into a frenzied state. Seemingly at random (optionally roll a d12, if it’s a 1, this occurs) or if the hallucination presented is ‘failed,’ as in the consumer experiences negative emotions (anger, fear, greed, etc) during the hallucination, the user will fall to the ground and violently convulse for anywhere between an hour and a few minutes. (1-4 emotes) The psychedelic nature of the mushroom causes it to be highly addictive. An overdose of the mushroom can potentially cause the user to become irrationally insane as their hallucination lasts for months or even years, and can potentially, in high enough quantities, cause total brain cell death. All of the potency of the mushroom is contained within its cap, with the stalk being effectively useless for anything other than rooting it to the ground. Additionally, Shamans can use this as a substitute to Cactus Green to attune their minds to the spiritual plane and enter the spirit realm. Red Lines Hallucinogens are subject to interpretation but are not malleable to whatever the person taking or the person giving want the outcome to be. The hallucination changes based on the drugged person’s actions and state of mind. The person administering the drug must come up with a completely random but somewhat pertinent experience; the person taking the drug can move and do whatever they wish in this experience so long as it follows established rules of the vision. If used in a negative context, the player who the drug is applied to is the one who decides whether to roll or not. Otherwise, a consensus on its effect must be reached. A good guide is generally; If sedated, it will cause them to be knocked out. If angered or enraged, they will enter a frenzy. If upright or otherwise normal, they will simply experience altered reality. Hallucinogens used for religious practices do not actually allow you to commune with your deity/deific entity unless you possess a holy magic with that ability (farseer, lutauman, witch doctor, druid, etc) and rather simply make you believe so The drug’s harmful effects over extended periods of time cannot be ignored or cured The nature of the vision can be changed by the person in control of a religious/ET event, however, not in an offensive/hostile setting, where a consensus must be reached. The drug itself must be ingested, and cannot be taken in any other form. The drug itself can be lethal without continual use or overdose if the ingestor consents to its lethality. Otherwise, it is lethal if taken a rate of 5 samples per 100lbs of weight per hour. Insanity is induced by 4 samples per 100lbs of weight per hour. The frenzied effect cannot be used in combat without rolling. The frenzied effect does not increase muscle mass/density, rather triggering an immense release of adrenaline (see: people panicking and lifting cars) The drug cannot be extracted or refined from the mushroom itself. The drug cannot be ‘slipped into a drink’ or cooked into an item unless kept in its raw form, which is a large cap, and will thus be readily apparent.

  11. ========================================= Name of the Treaty: Krug’s Will ========================================= Type of Treaty: [Reformation] ========================================= [Nation] [Name: Krugmar] [Nation] [Name: The Horde of the Thagurz Grish] [Nation Formed] [Name: The Iron Uzg] ========================================= Date of Signing: The Beginning of Time ========================================= Unity has always been a prime factor through which the Orcish race retained its survival, and as such, honorable, good orcs should always strive to be united and brought together for the common good of Krug’s venerable children. Such is how it has been since Krug was first born and his offspring were brought together. Such is how it has been since Tythor’Rax united the warring orcish clans for the very first time. Now, in the midst of conflict, it lies upon the children of Krug to unite once more. Within the dilapidated ruins of San’Kala, Rex Shakul’Gorkil and the three Warchiefs of the Horde held moot. They aimed to put an end to the two factions’ everlasting conflict. Together, they created a vision. One in which Krug’s children banded together under a new, prideful banner. A venerable nation of yore. A conclave to uphold the honorable traditions of Krug’s people, and a war machine bound to strike fear into its enemies. An Uzg of Iron. The treaty, deemed the will of Krug, was recognized that day and signed into law as the Orcs were to be united once more in a new era of Orcish society, an era of strength and an era where the Orcs would become a force to be reckoned with once more, fulfilling Krug’s vision for his children. [OOC Terms] The Horde and Krugmar are abolished as political entities and instead are consolidated in one single entity known as the Iron Uzg. The Clans of both nations and their leaders are to be led by the current Rex, who will rule in a dictatorship with meetings to decide upon important matters. The ruined city of San'Kala is to be made the capital of the Iron Uzg after it is refurbished and repaired from the damages caused by the September Prince. The land provided to Krugmar by Kaz'Ulrah will used for specific purposes involving their proximity to other notable landmarks Any agreements that were signed in the OOC month of August with both the Horde and the Uzg will be maintained, any others are rendered invalid and must be resigned by the current Rex of the Iron Uzg. The OOC acquisition of San'Kala is also one of these, considering it was only attained this month. (Alliance with the State of Qin, Kaz'Ulrah and Camel Bandits + Tributization of Dunshire)

For this 1000 mina payment, they are to receive aid from the Orcs whenever it is needed. They are to be defended should Dunshire get into any warclaims and aided against bandits and brigands that threaten their peace. Clause 2: Dunshire will not interfere with Krugmarian affairs and will not give tribute to nations other than Krugmar. If any citizen of Dunshire is found to be interfering in things like the slave trade, the tributization of other states or the receiving of the monthly fee, they will receive whatever punishment is deemed necessary by the one aggrieved by this action. 22. So I was cleaning up my google drive and I came across this bit of lore that I never got around to posting, not sure what the main idea was or what I intended to add so I'm just going to post it as-is and see if yall like it. The Journal of Sergeant Wizenheimer 2nd of the Grand Harvest, 1622, Late at Night I could’ve sworn we were being followed. I’ve seen the shadow of a man track us, but I’m not quite sure about whether he’s a friend or a foe. He’s just… following us. It’s probably just my imagination. We’re sent out on a scouting detail, me and my three men, I’m probably thinking that I’m seeing the enemy in every corner. I’ll consult my men tomorrow. 3rd of the Grand Harvest, 1622, Midday I didn’t see the figure at all today, but the hairs on the back of my neck keep on perking up. Feels like someone’s watching me. I don’t think anyone’s there, though, as we passed through a valley not ten minutes before we made camp, would’ve been the best spot to ambush us. 3rd of the Grand Harvest, 1622, Dusk One of my men, Fritz disappeared into the woods after investigating something in the bush. We heard a yell, figured he got spooked by something. We got to the spot where we heard it, though, and there wasn’t much there. A patch of blood, maybe. But, [!] The rest of this entry appears to have been erased as it was written Good news! One of my men found him, apparently he’d been attacked by a wolf that ran off. Explains the blood rather fittingly. 4th of the Grand Harvest, 1622, Morning Fritz has been acting rather strangely lately. He didn’t want to eat the eggs we made in the morning, which is strange because he normally loves eggs. Hm, whatever spooked him last night must’ve shaken him a bit, he’s practically vibrating. Looks like he’s cold, though it’s a rather warm day, actually I’m sweating in my armor. 4th of the Grand Harvest, 1622, Afternoon One of our men, Geruld this time, disappeared into the woods again, except this time it doesn’t look like he’s going to be coming back. He went on patrol with Fritz after the pair thought they heard something in the woods, poor Fritz came back, still shaken, and told us to come look. Looks like the poor soul’d been eaten by some large beast. Whole chunk of him on the side was just, gone. Fritz said they’d been attacked by a bear, I don’t quite think it was a bear though. Might be another large beast. Poor lad’s still shaken, it seems, next thing you know a deer’ll impale one of us! 4th of the Grand Harvest, Night Goddamnit I probably jinxed us. Fritz went out on patrol with one of my last men and apparently he got gored by a buck who was fleeing from a wolf. Fritz, the coward he is, ran like the wind and it looks like the wolf took a few bites out of Harold. Well, it’s still us two. We’ll make out alright. Might have a traitor on our hands, though it can’t be coincidence that Fritz let them die both times... 5th of the Grand Harvest, Midday We stopped to eat and… I’m not sure Fritz is Fritz anymore. He avoided his food entirely, and I cooked up a rabbit we’d killed a while back and proposed we eat it in memory of Harold and Geruld. Now that I think of it he had been staring at the two before they disappeared, and his eyes… his eyes looked like they had a fierce hunger in them. I dismissed it as him being hungry as we hadn’t eaten yet but... Now I’m not entirely sure that’s Fritz at all. I’m going to ride away from this camp on my horse tonight. Hopefully, he doesn’t see me go. 5th of the Grand Harvest, Night Fritz, he’s different, definitely. I got on my horse and I went at full pelt and somehow he - and I’m sure it was him, but he looked like Geruld - popped up in front of me and his mouth opened wider than any mouth should open. I’m currently writing this in a hollow that I’m hiding in, hopefully he do [!] The rest of the page is stained with blood. History of Mirrormen Mirrormen are creatures that lack any definite shape and are born into the world by one Mirrorman splitting apart into two. Mirrormen are able to take the form of any humanoid beings they take a bite out of. When not disguised as a humanoid, they appear as a dark shadow of a naked man or woman depending upon what they feel like. It is believed that the first mirrorman was an alchemist, illusioner and an enchanter who tried to mix all three of his talents to create a potion that made him appear to be anyone he chose. When he ingested the potion, he turned into a dark, shadowy blob and found that he could split himself into multiple versions of himself every elvish week. Every time he fragmented himself, however, he became less and less human, slowly stripping away his morality, his purpose, and his sanity. Workings Mirrormen can only eat the flesh of a Descendant to nourish themselves, and as such they get no nourishment from consuming Hou-Zi, Kharajyr, or any other race that is not a descendant. Mirrormen do not starve, and instead they simply become more ravenous, desperate and beastlike. Mirrormen do not grow old, nor do they seek the many things that descendants often seek. They’re not after riches, wealth, or power, and they mostly only rely on base instinct alone. Mirrormen are known to, however, have telltale signs that give them away. They shiver in the heat and appear perfectly fine in the cold, they refuse to eat anything that isn’t the flesh of a descendant, and their personality changes drastically. How their personality changes differs depending upon the mirrorman. Mirrormen are supernaturally fast and strong, able to barely keep up with a racehorse, and have an elastic quality to their bodies that allows them to take an amazing amount of physical punishment. They are, however, still harmed by common metals and blades. When mirrormen die they first shed their guise and then appear to coagulate into a black blob at the floor. The blob then turns a sickly yellow color and remains there unless someone picks it up, having similar properties to gelatin. The blob has no special properties. Red Lines Mirrormen are not immaterial. Mirrormen are not impervious to all attacks, and things such as axes, swords, etc, will still "tear" them like a thick rubber band. Mirrormen are strictly to be used as an event creature.

  24. Contrary to popular belief, I always thought they were silver simply because... Mina were actually a thing. In ancient Greece and the Middle East, which was a coin meant to represent 1 mina's worth of silver. So I always just assumed, considering it was historically based on silver, that the coins in and of themselves were silver instead of gold. Also, I've always RP'd them as being silver coins. Also, another bit on Wikipedia defines it as which basically just says "It's silver." So yeah, I always thought it was silver.
