  1. Farewell mate, I'm sad to see you go. I appreciate the shout-out and I had a lot of fun roleplaying with you and talking to you as a person as well. You always have a lively attitude, even when things are a struggle. Though there was OOC intrigue recently, you're still a friend and so I hope you go places. Take care!
  2. You were a greatly pleasant person to be around and talk to. I recall roleplaying with you and having a great time interacting with Alison. It's sad to see you go, but I equally understand why and encourage you. The Server has grown increasingly toxic, even in the communities we once found friends. It's better to take the burden off your shoulders rather than continuously receive punches to the stomach. Take some time off and enjoy yourself!
  3. I really like this concept. Good job Paleo!
  4. Rickard Kovachev would sigh softly, recalling his many discussions with the late King. "May your soul have safe passage through the Soulsteam, Karl Marius Barbanov…" The Ascended shedding a tear as he gazed upon a newly brightening star in the night sky.
  5. Will Halo 6 Infinite be a silver lining, or another flunk from 343 like Halo 5 Guardians?

  6. Sir Percival follows suit, picking up his sword and shield, holding true to his own individual intentions, to fight Renatus for his own reasons, despite his ethnicity.
  7. Because individual characters can't fight for their own intentions! That's your argument here. These characters have been played before and have ample reason to hate Renatus in RP. If a character is acting as a Freelancer in roleplay, why is that against the rules? Every character on LOTC has their own voice and personality, they're not a part of some hivemind collective. The rules make no sense and essentially judges people based on ethnicity. Lets take for example a real battle in history: The Battle of Britain. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Britain Read the section of international participation. It will shock you given that you have no concept of what a mercenary or a non-braindead freelancer is. Believe it or not people can represent their own intentions rather than having to associate themselves with their nation for everything they do as an individual.
  8. So you're implying an Haensetic man, who has ample reason to hate Renatus, cannot fight as a mercenary or freelancer without banners, just because he's a citizen of a nation. You used OOC means to justify this argument which completely forgets the opinion of individual roleplay characters. Seriously, you've never heard of a sword for hire or someone who fights because they want to? You're really scraping the bottom of that barrel for this one, it displays how much you're relying of roleplay bending and trying to avoid the consequences of much of the server hating your nation for good reason, both in RP and OOC.
  9. If you must know, their character had IRP reasons to fight against Renatus, not because of an alliance. Your side completely disregarded roleplay and banned people who were there based on their characters own opinions. Don't try to claim a moral high ground saying the GMs enforced rules. The GMs completely disregarded roleplay and forgot about the existence of freelancers and mercenaries, or do we have to make a forum OOC post for those as well?
  10. It appears RP settled friendships, mercenaries and aliases don't mean anything, not even taking alliances into account. I love how the Staff continue to destroy established roleplay!
  11. Well done, you banned people who legitimately were established in RP to be fighting for that side. Well done!

  16. Viktor Kovachev, sighs with disgust upon viewing this opinion from the Seven Skies.
  17. -:Notices would be spread far across the realm, branded with the Arms of Tuvic:- “I would have perished, had I not persisted.” From the Highlands of the Old North rose the first Highlander Brotherhood, composed of the Raev and Hansetians of the Lahy, which destroyed the armies of Prince Nicholas the ‘Heathen’ and established the One True Faith, the Canonist Faith, into the hearts of the Highlanders for years to come. In the warm hearth of Siegrad, cradle of Highlander culture and excellence in the 14th Centurium, that flame was rekindled. The sworn-shields of Karl Barbanov carved a new legacy the into bedrock of history, their names preserved forever in the songs that sound off the tongues of every northern bard. Now, in the darkest hour the Highlander people have ever faced, a new Brotherhood of warriors will be forged. Its purpose: to take up arms against the conniving aggressors that seek to subjugate and enslave Joren’s Folk, and to secure the everlasting freedom and sovereignty of the Haeseni realm. Fear will not shake them, for their hearts are painted black with grim purpose. Death will not deter them, for a martyr’s end is one to be welcomed. That Eternal Flame of old burns with passion and with rage in their hearts- a fire that will never be extinguished until the last loyal man falls in defense of his Kingdom. For the Brothers of the Golden Crow will never kneel. The Order of the Golden Crow is actively recruiting and seeks new Brothers to fill its ranks. Men of all backgrounds are accepted, alongside elves who live amongst humanity. Those who seek to pledge their loyalty to the House of Barbanov, make their way to the Capital of Markev! 20. Where’s my reputation support and am I a nice person?
  21. Did you not read my initial response to your previous regrow limb statement? Holy Healers can't regrow their patients limbs...
  22. I used minor as an expression for damage, not for the eyes and their value as organs. Damage on a minor level could be seen as an incision or cut through the organ (caused by shrapnel or a stab from a blade), where as extensive is what I'd judge as mutilation or full on organ scrambling (I.E. twisting a blade within someone's guts). I was also not present for said event, judging by the fact it was over a year ago. I in turn have never used healing to repair extensive damage.
  23. Minor organ damage is something that can be healed, though extensive organ damage is different and cannot. If the eye itself is still somewhat intact, then provided it's in the early stage of damage, it can be repaired. If someone lost their eyes (ripped from their sockets) then that's a different situation all together.
  24. One does not simply regrow their limbs though through Holy Magic. For example, Ascended can't heal the stump of someone's arm, and regardless if we did when it's in an early stage, we would simply transmat a mortal wound which would easily kill us. Losing a limb is both a traumatising and painful experience, coupled with extensive blood-loss and sensitivity. Something often misinterpreted is that Holy Magic can heal even the most extensive wounds. It can't, it has limits and ultimately there are things which healing cannot undo.
