Currently, they've swore their blades to the dwarves, and are based Nordland. Plans for a fort have been approved, however is yet to be built. For those unaware, these are: Vel Vel is the dwarven command for "Vertical line" often the most used of the main three commands, a vel is most commonly used for marching, and/or for an intimidation factor. The leader always stands at the front. Aemiz Aemiz is the dwarven command for "Horizontal line" used for many a cause, but never marching. Once again, it always has the leader in front. Tekom Tekom, is a box, with the leader in the middle, and those of importance inside. The line must not pass the leader, or break formation during a march. It is rarely used for marching, and when it is, only the best soldiers use it, due to it's difficulty to maintain. -=+=- Payment -=+=- Payment is dependant on who's side they're fighting on. Unlike other mercenary group, Maquatil pays without failure. Payments can range from 10 - 1000 minas. The large range is simply an educated guess, due to many a nation willing to pay large quantities of money. -=+=- Armour -=+=- Every Maquatil member is forced to wear the armour. It's been a good run....

Would stand in the capital. Dressed - as always - in the armour of the King`s guard. However, as the more observant of the dwarves would`ve noticed, he`d changed the glove of his armour, to a more appropriate golden colour. He`d look around, catching sight of one of the very few Goldhands still remaining - Affotex Goldhand. Swiftly, he`d inspect the mere beardling, and to no surprise of his own, he`d have no sign on him to represent his clan. Does this mean beardlings are no longer proud to display their very own background? He`d begin to discover a pattern. All of the living Goldhands - other than himself- seemed to be embarrassed to belong to such a clan of such affluent background. Conan himself could recall one of the dwarves choosing to not include his clan in their name. As clan father, it was his responsibility to bring the clan back to its former glory. Therefore, he`d figure what better way to do that then to make an appeal for the elders of the Goldhand clan to return. One day the clan seemed to be as well off as ever, the next it was in mere ruins. All due to the elders at the time, going on a pilgrimage. He`d make it well known across dwarven lands that anyone with any contact/knowledge of the elders, too report back to him. ((Basically. This post is just to inform anyone wishing to make a Goldhand, that they`re more than welcome to become an elder straight off the bat (if I believe you`re good enough of course.) We can work out appropriate lore and hopefully make it so the system runs flawless. It is also a post to inform any former Goldhands, that you`re welcome to come back and I`ll give you the same amount of control you once had. Hello! I`m going to keep this short and sweet (Like myself.) So recently, I`ve started to notice that LoTC is starting to become slightly more addictive and addictive - which isn`t a bad thing - but being in a grammar school (English school for smart kids) this time is really affecting me homework/study wise. Therefore, I`ve decided to take a small break, it could be for a week, or could be for a month, I`m not too sure. All I know is that a small break would benefit me greatly. I`m not going to write a long detailed goodbye, since this isn`t my last. My friends on lotc know who they are, I`ll miss you all don`t worry. "My friends, and my kin, after our smashing victory, it is important that we do not rest in idleness. We must continue to grow, expand and train. Through proof of eye, I've witnessed that most dwed can wield a blade - due to the training provided by the Legion - however, there's some techniques not even the Legion can teach. Being King's Guard, I figured it would benefit us all if I teach everyone a thing or two. Any dwarf or ally willing to give up an elvish hour out of your Friday, to further become better fighters, are welcome. If anyone in power has a problem with this be sure to make it known.
