“𝓛𝓵𝓲𝓻𝓪𝓷!”
Announced the pale ‘thill, addressing the audience with a visage of cordiality, and pride.
”I have learned much, since I had last ran for Elsohaer. Mister Maehr’tehral – a llir, of mine- of us all, had seen me through much. Little did I know exactly how much he would see me through. Through therapy, medical practice, and eventually- even if unintended- role modeling, as Sohaer. I will ne mask that I have looked up to Nelgauth’s decisionmaking, and his excellent stewardship in the years past- Citizen to Citizen, Okarir to Okarir.”
She trailed off, golden eyes looking downward to the floor – a paralyzing anxiety took place behind her carefully crafted guise, as she had thought much behind her calculated labyrinth. Was she, different? How? But a decade ago she was convinced everyone in the room wished her death; how could she earn their affection? Their trust? The thoughts ate away as a parasite, digging away at every inch of cognizance she clung so dearly to. Speak. Speak!
”Though we have come far, since the withering past – we still have long to go. I believe although we may wish for so – we still lack unity. Though our blessed Maheral has gone through significant strides, as with my family – Diversity is Strength. Together, we are strong, divided, weak. We must use what we have to pursue strength. Skilled commanders and pasts, to revolutionize our military, our industry, observing others and making what we can ours. Elcihi’thilln is the city upon the hill, the greatest there has been – and great we will be oncemore. We are a bastion of security, a bastion of purity for all Mali’aheral and Mali’thill, and we shall continue to be- to Thrive in Maehr’sae, to Live in Hiylun. Management and decision is what I believe is critically lacking- and what will critically succeed.
My experience is vast, with administration. Okarir’tayna, I had organized events and revitalized the tavern, even granted the scarcity the rest of the city bore. Okarir’nor, I had performed check and balance upon all Okarir – even given the sorrowful state of the city, and the withering government. My roles for Maheral Sullas- earning his and others trust, and bringing securty; peace, to those within our blessed walls. As Laurir, ever since my brothers .. horrific, death, I have seen my family revived, revitalized, given breath of life oncemore. Not out of name – nor prestige – because it was Right. For my Lliran, for my People – for my Talonnii. Together, lliran, we will see breath given life oncemore. Magic, knowledge, progress, prosperity – I will see to it we get no less within our silver walls. Light shines upon us, divine with opportunities we are granted as a people; these will be used to advance us all, and bring us a name of respect, and understanding, oncemore.
Many can attest to the Meetings in which I invite family and those closeby, and we sort things. I believe a similar structure could, and should, work for councilmeetings. Very effectively have I gotten results; Teamwork is the greatest, we could ask for. I know what it is like to be alone. Afraid, without anyone- no lliran, no Talonii, no ’thill. Together, I am- and will always be behind you, Lliran!” The ‘thill exited the last thought with a triumph, seeming proud. In the moments blur, her confidence rescinded to thought oncemore. Was she prepared? Would she be? She considered in a moments huff, accepting finality-
Yes.
