What are your thoughts on magic characters and creatures befriending others meant to be their sworn enemy in rp? Example is druids x void mages, or vampires and azdrazi
imho there should be consequences for anyone trying to ignore conflict. This also isn’t to call out anyone specific, just a general thought

Aight, so first of all obligatory *sips mocha rp* comment
Now, to the actual comment. I believe it is possible to, in theory, "befriend" a sworn enemy CA/MA in rp but no one has, in my experience, ever actually done it. As Farryn brings up one could go for the angle of trying to "understand the enemy". However, this should not lead to a friendship or anything but instead a temporary truce. An Azdrazi may want to learn of paladinism but that should be angled for manipulation and the paladin or Azdrazi should always intend to backstab. In that way, you're able to balance lore and character. Maybe you rp someone conflicted by their new role who is steadily forced into stepping into line or just going rogue. You can create good drama and conflict by not immediately ripping their throats out but the idea of a true friendship is flawed.
Going to be blunt now, a significant chunk of people who do the "holy and dark magic friendship" rp are friends oocly. This happened to me with an ascended, who shall remain nameless, not trying to kill my literal murderous morghuul because he was associated with our ooc friend group. I have little doubt most of these conflicting group friendships arise due to similar circumstances.
In conclusion, the idea of trying to manipulate an enemy group's members for an advantage with a false offer of friendship or potential "conflicting with my purpose rp" is an interesting way to handle two groups that are diametrically opposed. However, the "uWu quirky Azdrazi and paladin friendship/*******" that we so often see should not be tolerated. At the end of the day, lore is lore after all.

Really shows how much the server's staff team has fallen when sexpests are allowed to roam free, but calling someone a c*nt for spamming OOC in the middle of rp gets you banned. I know I'll get a warning point for saying this, but I don't really care at this point. Nine more to go, baby!

Those being: eliminate public knowledge of the Monks on a meta level, or have a state/government disavow the existence of Monk magic by punishing characters who acknowledge it. Historically speaking, I'm sure the server will lean toward the latter.
According to the rules you can't rply know that the monks revive people.

I apologise for preaching and asking this through statuses. I expect the usual shitposting on this status.
But I'm genuinely looking for great rpers who want to actually raise the quality of roleplay on the server for the ET. People driven by the wish to create arching narratives that help improve the quality of the server for everyone. All while exposing them to new experiences that defy the expectations of most and help me create a team I'm proud to spearhead. It's a big ask, but I'm hoping at least a few people see this and apply to help me continue to make the server better. I've been a pretty shitty manager as of recent with my computer breaking for a few months, so the quality has slipped and the events I've wanted pushed haven't happened. Doesn't excuse the "lack" of events, but I'm trying to create a system where events are more than shitty loot drops. I want people to go to events and go, "wow, I really didn't think I could experience that quality on here", or having people reflect on their own rp mentalities and changing accordingly.
Also for shitty lore side of the server, we need some masochistic people who like reviewing lore to apply

In regards to Jabbernak just rule out use for combat. Orcs have had an intimate relationship with them for almost as long as the server has existed, it seems like a mistake to cut that off now over an issue that is yet to happen and can easily be prevented as I previously said, just axe the combat use.

Don’t you all just love that after about 12 pm EST the server turns into Mad Max? Roving bandits just roam the roads and cities, robbing and killing everyone they see. There are no ooc regulations on who can do Bandit rp so people who play their characters as saints normally, can just put on a new skin, change their names, and go a lootin’. Even during the middle of the day, there are groups that just kill and rob without any rhyme or reason besides who has the best loot on them. This was my rant, feel free to ignore me.

@TelanirJust a clarification. I can expect anyone to get banned for Doxxing if I have evidence of them sharing any of my accounts or usernames on other mediums, as long as it is not publicly listed anywhere on LoTC related mediums?
