  1. Well, goodbye I suppose You were a great Rex, man. Showed me the strings of properly being an orc. o7
  2. Height - 5'7 Weight - 130 lbs I don't do exercise I'm lazy as f*** Give me rep
  3. This post reminds me of all those people saying, "We're killing Earth!" We are not killing Earth. It will go on for a very long time, we're wiping ourselves from the face of the earth. (I.E. We aren't killing RP, we're killing Oren. RP will continue.)
  4. Gholug'Braduk tuts as he reads through the bulletin. "Editor did a zkah job... So many spell'n' errors..."
  5. Zkah..." A certain orc of the Braduk clan rubs his hands together. "The tavern'z finally gonna zerve itz purpoze..."
  6. Skah..." Gholug would be seen trying to rub his beer belly while patting his head. "This is hard... Almost as hard as we'll drive Oren into the skah'n ground."
  7. EDIT: Someone beat me to the crocs joke. Dammit.
  8. I'm just going to slide my opinion as to what we should do for future player retention. Now, I've not been on the server very long when compared to other players posting here, and I only really experienced the last few moths of Vailor before we moved to Axios. I must say, however, the two things that caused me to stay on the server, when an orc was my first ever character, who I have kept up until today, and our capital had a maximum of three players inside it at any normal time, other than just before raids. Firstly, we'll get onto the part that's going to sound like me whining. Oren didn't have such a big presence. Now, this isn't just for me to complain about how Oren is bad and Oren is evil, because I know for a fact that won't do anything, and I'll simply be seen as another one of the idiots that do say it. What I will say, however, is that while the axis were still intact before the (extremely laggy) warclaim, Oren didn't seem to declare war nearly as much. Sure, there would be a raid the odd time, but those were, dare I say, fun, even when we did lose. We could still talk about we were so close to winning afterwards, or how we almost downed so-and-so half way through. Now, however, Oren has inflated into something that can't be understood by the human mind. They don't bother with raiding because, well, they own everyone who they can raid. Orcs don't bother either, because they'll obviously be defeated and the entire ordeal will lead to nothing but an angry Oren knocking at their door. This was a rather long paragraph wouldn't it? My English teacher would be proud. We now come to my second and final point. The Aethermoor Tavern and the Axis itself. I'm not sure about any of you, but personally, I remember having a lot of fun in there. It may just be me, and the fact that I quite enjoy tavern RP or casually talking to other people, but I got a real, "This place is allied with you." feeling. Nobody disliked anybody else, and when the odd fight did break out, both people could still return without any consequences except for a dirty look from the people they had fought. You could just chill there, and if an Orener set foot into it, they would have their arms wrenched clean off. This isn't to say we should kill Oren, but in my opinion, it'd be a good idea to set up a completely neutral tavern somewhere, and although I'm sure there would be a lot of fighting, I'm confident we could make it work. This, however, is just my view on it. Any feedback is appreciated.
  9. Gholug, believing he had finished his work, decided to hunt down said insect. What he was not aware of was that the beast's wings gave the descendants strange phantom-like abilities, such as phasing through the very ground.
  10. Ah, right. I suppose, then, it does seem like something we should have dotted around the server
  11. So RP name, you say? Gholug'Braduk
  12. Ah, yes, I see
So Oren wants dragons, undead, and people with a lot of broken bones and taint in their city. Of course.

  13. I mean, what purpose would it serve that isn't covered already? Leatherworker can make banners, and archer armour, woodworker can make tents, and I can't think of a real use for this that isn't already covered, unless staff want to remove some crafting recipes from other professions, which I don't see a point in. There's already enough, "Hey, can you make this for me?" RP between soldiers and leatherworkers/woodworkers/blacksmiths. Looks cool, at least
  14. Well it's time to get everyone into a sort of grouped axi- wait no. :^) Regardless, I've let off a lot of steam, and learned a lot more about the server and activity n stuff than I knew before. Thanks for that, and I suppose I'll stop commenting now that I've gotten the answers I wanted. Still gonna read through it, though. This bickering's rather entertaining.
  15. See, the thing is, in the time that I've played an orc (So basically in all the time I've been on the server), the only reason I would've ever logged off is because there was simply nobody around to RP with, because (Surprise, surprise) the orcs are rather stagnant now. The shamans have broken off into their own little settlement, which leaves the rest of the orcs with glorified human RP with a few more fights and funny speech impediments. This, of course, is simply my opinion. Human RP isn't very... engaging to me. That's the reason I chose orcs. They seemed to have interesting enough magic and traditions, and now with Oren ripping us apart from one side, and the shamans off in Sutica, there's not much room for any actual orc RP. It's just sort of standing around until you hear that "RALLY!" in Skype, at which point you get your iron armour on and prepare for another warclaim. Honestly, that's probably the only reason I don't particularly like Oren, not hate, just not particularly like. Although it makes sense from an RP standpoint, it very quickly brews hate whenever the biggest faction on the server declares/wins a warclaim yet again, only to be rewarded with mundane at best loot, a lot of wasted time, and a few salty forum memes. Bloody hell, this post is good for letting off steam.
  16. Fair point, actually. Although I can RPly see this, and forgive me for bringing OOC into something that should, by all means, be an OOC discussion about RP, it honestly gets quite tiring of going through the same cycle over and over. Oren attacks Orcs > Orcs have the weaker military, they fall > Orcs build a new city > Oren looks at it and says "Letting them do that is a bad idea. Let's kill them before they can do that!" > Oren attacks orcs, etc. etc. Can you at least see where I'm coming from here? Also, I must admit that our actions towards and with other nations don't consist of much, but regardless, spirit worship is a large part of Orcish culture. Mind you, the main city hasn't been taking many, if any, slaves recently.
  17. May I just, uhh, relate to the original post? Is Oren trying to win LotC? I mean, I'm not complaining particularly at the fact that they rule the server, that's fine and I expect at least one faction to come out on top. My problem is the way that they want to purge a lot of races - one of which I play, an orc. Regardless, they seem to be wanting to root out much smaller playerbases, and although I agree that orcs have indeed had some past with Oren regarding slave hunting, I don't see the point in continuing to warclaim them. When was the last time an orc from the main city has taken a slave from Oren & Friends Ltd? Admittedly, I've not been on the server for very long, but of the time I have been on, I can tell you, that by this point, they sort of have. Right now, it seems they're just consolidating power. A bit like Hitler did. (Curse you, Godwin's Law!) I'd appreciate any feedback from Oreners on this. Enlighten me, if you will, so I won't have to type out posts like this in the future. Cheers!
  18. Krugmar Census MC Name - Boomzerang Persona Name - Gholug'Braduk Professions (give rank too) - Adept Lumberjack, Adept Woodworker Skype/Discord - You have it
  19. If I were, by chance, to keep one as a pet, are there any specific rules on feeding them and giving them water?
  20. Oh. Oh no. I wouldn't want to be TRIGGERING anyone, would I? In all seriousness, though, the idea is good, the only problem is the starting paragraph. Nobody likes an anti-memer.
