If almaris had realistic travel distances travel times would be so horrible we'd all quit the server. not to mention the map file would probably corrupt or lag to crud with how big it'd be.

Increasing nearly two-fold in price, potatoes and breads skyrocket in value as bakeries shut down in this tight labor market while populations continue to soar on Almaris. It seems that with the influx of monk-provided minas, few of the bigguns want to work anymore, leading to new opportunities for halfling traders to enter the waning biggun farm good market. Pumpkins, long used as a medium of exchange, saw their trading volume decreased as pumpkin farming goes to producing pumpkin pies instead of acting as wealth to hoard engage in trade with. Hay bales, however, might be the NEW pumpkin when it comes to farm good barter. If wheat prices continue to increase, this very well may become the case, much to the disappointment of horses everywhere who've grown used to plentiful feed. It seems like prices can only go up! There is truly no ceiling to this growth! I fully expect individual bundles of wheat to hit 200 pumpkin value by the end of next year, if this current trajectory continues! I wonder if it'll become normal to send a message more than once in case the aviary is getting camped or someone shoots the bird down to read the message for fun. IMO there just needs to be a few rules added to regulate when/how birds get shot down so that birds aren't massacred en masse for the sake of it. Doesn't need to be 100% security that a message gets through (obviously that is not the point of the aviary plugin), but it needs to be good enough at sending messages for people to use it instead of just blatantly metagaming on discord or smth.

So are birds in flight represented with a parrot or what? Also, if the birds have to physically fly all the way over to their destination, will there be any rules against camping birds? Like, could you just sit in a common pathway for birds to travel between two popular aviaries and snipe every single message that is sent?

Survival Minecraft is less grindy for materials & high quality food than Almaris is.

I think I’d prefer it greatly if 9.0 had more Y level variation between areas instead of within areas. Have the center of the map be higher up and the outer areas be closer to sea level, maybe with cliffs and waterfalls marking the transition. A cliff is both more memorable and usable for building than having the same amount of Y-level variation with steep hills.

hello everyone here's a burrow I made on the MessyMedieval building server Front entrance was made by master builder Jaezon, so I can't really take any credit for it (I did add in the flowers & steps leading up to it, however). Entrance Quite fond of how this study turned out I actually made a non-tiny kitchen, usable kitchen for once in my life. Bedroom Flower carpet just off from the main entrance room Pantry & hanging sausages (sneaky barrels in the corner of the screenshot) Dining table able to seat 9 people or so. Good for dinner parties. Behind the iron bars lies extra wood & coal for keeping the fireplace going.

Cleric purity =/= High elf purity why are you conflating the two? There can be more than one concept of “purity” on the server at once.
