  1. I've heard a lot of things about ascended magic and I've never actually heard one good thing. It seems people sit up in their homes and play their magic which seems semi-disconnected from the world. Everything somebody says about their magic they take as a personal attack, at least it has been seeming that way. You guys can still be friends without the magic. You guys can still have a fun group without the magic - it's just that the magic you have seems strange and the way it is played seems no fun for anybody else involved. And really, do we listen to somebody who uses the magic and has their own personal bias, or somebody who has rp'd with them and has not had fun because the magic is no fun for anybody else on the server? - Those are my thoughts, just an opinion.
  2. Gussie blinks at the words, she seems to find the words themselves funny but thinks that there author should have spent more time on the rhymes.
  3. Ah - So this is how the ET comes up with their event lines now
  4. Hey Jandy, are you dandy? ,':^)
  5. Gussie nods, even though its not a barony.
  6. Hi! I don't know you, but good job :D

  7. if hes connected to him, that means hes doing good things within the strictures.
  8. this makes no sense at all... You can't force disconnect a student that is following the strictures, why would the Aengul allow that at all??? If they aren't following the strictures, they already get their powers weakened/disconnected you literally cannot irply use the magic if your character is lying/breaking the strictures. Contact an MT if they are and are still using the magic. I've seen increasingly confusing posts by you
  9. yes, you can pick it when you are prompted to use a race on the server as well
  10. Gussie cheers as she tries to help move things even while holding a baby.

      Test successful.

      Also, that doggo looks miserable.

  12. Another thing to remember is that you should have your view of a character, and others. Do not lose the view of your character for others, you only lose value then. It is very easy to lose value when a child, your image is moldable.
  13. Gussie had wandered out far past the normal reaches of Adelburg, into the forest where she found a stream. She sat down next to stream quietly and began to hum to herself, before taking out some paper she had brought along and some ink. She dipped a clumsily made quill into her ink, having spent some of her money gathering this pricey commodity. She brought quill to paper and began to scribe multiple documents that said the same thing. The spelling on these flyers was not the best, though it was quite obvious she had tried and put a lot of effort into the writing. A willow tree had been sketched out at the top. Dear, any druid who is reading this. I am writing this because I wish to know more about what you know, and what you have to say. I do not know a whole lot about much, but I have tried my best to read the books that were provided by The Library of Dragur. I have some about The Aspects and some about what druids do. I wish to hear from a druid themselves... I do not know many people, so I thought to send out a flyer. I am just a sim'le farmer girl, and I don' have the best of resources. So I hope this gets to somebody well, come and find me in the human lands or somehow find me. I hope this does not come off as desperate, I just wish to learn more. Thank you very much for reading. I love nature and wish to know about what is attached to it on a level I had never heard about until I moved out and started meeting people. Thank you for reading, goodbye, please do consider speaking to me. Sincerely, Gussie Wheeler. P.S; I have attach'd some of my poetry about nature to the page if you wanna read it. At the bottom of the flyer, there was a short copy of Gussie's poetry.
  14. The text seemed to more reflect bad spelling rather than an accent, 's representing smudged letters and incomplete punctuation.
  15. A short poem was written by Gussie to practice writing. The handwriting would be fairly bad, though still understandable. She wrote it a couple times, just to get her writing down, leaving a couple copies on a table in The Dragur Library, next to the poetry section. The Flowerbed "The Flowerbe', full o' surprise. So much color, petal te petal. It'd be har' te sumrise. From flowers blue, To fadin' oranges and bloomin' reds. Numbing to warmth, Health to deat', Hearth te hearse, Versatileteh in use. Pleasin' te the eye, Crawlin' skin like pillbu's. Ter t'e flowerbe' I rise, Eyes adjourning from li'e ter see the small. A small worl' beside otha' small worlds. But a poppy's pick'd, Time decay's. I 'avent long before, I advert meh gaze, and back to work, time resumes."
  16. Gussie made her made way through Tahn's Dock, making her way to boat headed towards The Wood Elven Lands. The day previous, she had gotten settled. Now she wished to go out and see the Isle for herself. She wanted to see the greenery of this place and was fueled by the wondrous things she had heard about the place before. As she stepped unto the boat excitement filled her stomach and she was set off unto the rocky boat, scaling up the coast until they reached the sunny port on the downward slope towards the raised forest. With her sea legs, she made her way up the hill and into the forest's mouth. The sound's of nature calling, birds chirping and flowers all around. She walked down the path past streams and trees, stopping on occasion to take it all in. When finally she reached the main city, Linandria, surrounded by water and guarded by two large statues. The human girl stared up at the walls and at the constructions that were erected to either side of the bridge. Her moments spent dazzling over just the wall were numerous, and she made her way to the gate, being let into the city after a short wait. Upon entering the city she made her way up and around, staring at all the sights to be seen. The first thing that struck her was the twisting tree jutting right before the entrance, and the smell of nature all around her. It was not a crude smell, but a sweet upon and nice upon her soul. Skipping down the way, she made her way up to a pink tree. A strange sight to the country girl, the light astonished her at first. Gussie made her way up to the tree and sat under it. As she sat she was lost in her thoughts and the sounds of the world about her. She reached into her bag and began to twist and bend some straw idly. Her fingers flexing and moving with grace as she tied grain together with reed and flowers. The sun was setting before she finished her work, a small straw basket, she placed it before the pink tree and put some flowers into it. She saw this as a tribute, almost, a product of her thoughts and emotion. Content, she got up and moved away from the flower-filled basket below the tree, going to find a nice corner to lie down in, her summer farming gown being quite resistant to the prickling grass beneath. She drifted quietly off to sleep in the sun, happy with the world.
