Thanks for the feedback, I will respond latter with more details, but we have more shamans now than we had for all of Asulon and temp maps combines. I believe we just need to rp more.

OH no no don't get me wrong; I don't avoid Orcish RP OOCly; I just didn't want to make an Orc alt for that reason

Ya what we need is to is actually RP. In the Trog we had a ton of RP, in Gronkkston, not so much. Maybe make Gronkkston more like the trog? Also work on shamanism, and Have more culture and what not.

This is the basis of our problem, having an apartment is not like owning a house and working a farm. RP is stale in a city for orcs.

I miss the cool feel of owning my own house and a small farm. I like Gronkkston, but it doesn't have the sort of tribal feel of the Trog. I know Gronkkston has the defensive walls that we need and the apartments are cool, but they don't feel very orcish. I think we need more of an ancient world, proto-urban sort of feel. I suppose the Trog is there if we ever wanna go back, or like warlord said, just make Gronkkston more Trog-like. Maybe I'm just rambling xD.

I agree.

Whoever is in charge seriously needs to start stepping it up with war and raids.

I  spent the last few months sitting next to a gate in an empty city.  Maybe get people to show up for once.

I gotta say I also like the idea of Trogging up Gronkkston. Maybe that can be the final thing to add to the list: tearing down the apartments and making some farm-blargs on and around the hill leading up to the city itself, with some normal blargs in the city itself, interspersed between all the big important buildings, like the clan halls, the shaman temple and the Krughai barracks.

((I know I've been talking a lot on this post, but something occurred to me. I saw someone say something interesting recently about goblins. The person noted that goblins are too "adorable." Now, I'm sure this person was being a little on the tongue-in-cheek side; however, it was a good point. Goblins have become a bit too cute, and orcs in general need to stop acting like imbeciles. I don't have anything against humor, but maybe it's getting a little out of hand. I think it could be helpful to bring in a more sinister feel to the goblins, and more of a primitive wisdom to the orcs. Of course, I'm not trying to say all orcs need to be somber and stone-faced 24/7, but orcs aren't supposed to be a race of morons. Obviously, orc society is a warrior culture, so most orcs lack a formal education; but, that doesn't make them mentally handicapped. People really don't take the orcs very seriously anymore, and I think it's because orcs have too much of a tendency to play the fool.))

I'm still extremely new and I'm definitely not an expert on Orcs... but here's my two cents.

When I first joined a WoW RP guild (Back in the day) they would have a week-long event once a month, once every few months, etc. It was nice because it was a good way for old people to stay active and new people to get introduced to everyone and become active. (If that makes any sense)

Okay example, the first week-long event I joined was a military expedition to scout out an Alliance Base in Grizzly Hills. (It was a Military Guild) Everyone packed up their things, sailed on the boat to another land and then for the rest of the week we all "camped out" and did small player run events that led up to the eventual goal of learning important information about the Alliance.

It was fun because there was usually always people at the camp doing something and even if there were no event-leader's on, there were still people roleplaying events. For a new person it helped me get involved and learn things hands-on about the guild because I already kinda had a backbone for my RP... which was that event of course. It was also nice because if you missed days of the event, you could still participate at the times you were there.

When you meet someone in town as a new person it's kind of awkward because you don't know really what to talk about, your still learning the blah and your not really sure what it is orcs DO around town. (Speaking from experience)

So that's my pennies for your thoughts, I think the orcs should have a week-long event where we all go and do something interesting. (Or something along those lines)

But what do I know? I'm still a newbie >.<

That's really cool. I think with ideas like that, you'll do really well in orc rp.
