After the large amount of refugees arrive in droves the rumors continue to grow of some force from the east. Communications are to be kept to a minimum.

 

National Actions

The rumors continue to bring paranoia through out Stalingrad and Moscow, Conscript are written up to begin a new division within the Russian Ranks. Cossacks, The Russian's realize they can't really on the technology they currently have forever and move to recreate a Calvary division. (2 pages)

 

The State Issues that civilians are to turn over their horses for the defense of the state. Along with this production is diverted to creating Sabers and small arms pistols for the Calvary.

Research continues with great effort to reverse engineer the MIG-29's Computer. It is theorized that a working computer will be completed in the years the to come (30 pages)

Kingdom of Ethiopia

 

The explorers return with the notice of the threat, and Selassie finally found his reason to arm the people. Especially with the new fancy rifles they started to make. Several people are armed with them, and patrol & scout over the walls around Addis. It was a secure village, and the military population grew with the growing population. It was 170,000 now. But it was balanced with the new farms & trees being added every year. 15,000 became soldier, with 1000 the Mehal Sefari.

 

 

The Bazaar becomes busier everyday, and the people make artistic & new artworks to be sold and placed around Addis. With the massive incomes from stone, Addis Ababa looks more paradiscal.  The beautiful sun arises, and all people live in the repaired homes of Ethiopia. However, the walls seem troubling for Addis. Iron fortifications are made ((2 pages))

 

 

Meanwhile, a civillian had somehow broken down into his stone floor. The man called the Civillian watch, and Haile Selassie took a look himself. The tunnel seemed modern.. Iron pillars with hard stone. The gap is filled with stone silently, brick for brick, then a primitive formula of concrete is poured in between. The tunnel could have anything in it.

 

A salvaged SWAN Mini ((Little Bird)) was found, the doors & computer salvaged away. However, the engine seemed still intact. Repairs for a scouting helicopter are being made ((4 pages)).

 

 

 

More vehicles come to usage with the increased oil income.

 

The education of Ethiopia now improved like the bazaar. Huts became large tents & cabins.. Handwritten copies became books, and two books became twelve. As more books becamed printed, and tests written. The Ethiopians start to learn alot about Chemistry, Physics, Math & Geography.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, the coal plant is build. However, it isn't fully functional. A railroad must be build before massive loads of charcoal could be turned into electricity. ((2 pages))

 

Travel through the massive canals of Ethiopia is desired, and the goverment works on massive platform ships.. This also has a military side, seeing how his vehicles and batallions could be stationed there. ((5 pages)). The ship would run on a coal & eletrical engine, powered by the mill.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, the traders from Australia are send to the ruler of Ethiopia, meanwhile returning from his operation.

HORNED MEN OF ICELAND

 

The Queen was enthusiastic about the new trade proposal. In return, the Gothi are invited to join in on the Invasion of Europe - which is an extremely high honor in the Horned Men's standards. Small trade vessels begin to be created, as well as larger mines and farms.

 

The Sevrnell ship is completed, and is lowered into the seas from the dry dock. Men, women and children cheer and wave at the sight of it completed, and it is classed the first 'Royal' flagship. It will be armed to the teeth, but will not be used in battle unless completely necessary. Instead, inventors put their mind to larger things, most of which are not even classed plausible. The first ships deemed impossible to create are the sister ships Devastation and Thunderer, which they want to be completely made out of metal. The Queen wants no part in it's creation but the men are given the go ahead, but should the ships sink straight out of harbor, then the inventors will be executed. ((12 pages))

 

Meanwhile, in Svalbard, the colony has already started. No survivors had been seen so far, and the village is thriving. Mining has begun, large quarries in the ground through sheets of ice and rock. One in particular is very active, with hundreds of masses of coal being dug everyday. Three ships are sent back to report news and deliver the coal, as it could be a source of power in the future. Another mine - continued from an Old Age one - reveals masses of gold. Some old machinery is laying around too, but the miners are yet to discover how to make them start. ((4 Pages))

 

The men in Sweden are considered peacefully, and the Gothi's with them request permission to start preaching their religion. The alliance offer will be sent back to Queen Amelia. Word slips out of one of the sailors mouths to a *****, of Queen Amelia massing an army to claim land in Norway or Denmark. When asked what the soldiers look like and the army's size, the sailor states that it is wave upon wave of thousands of men, all dressed from head to toe in the blood of their enemies, and they have horns of demons themselves. He also says they are blessed by the divines, who watch over them and render them unbeatable in battle.

New Baltania:

With the new radio tower fixed, a radio message is sent out with a radius of 300 miles. The message states the intentions of New Baltania to make peace and trade between other nations in the area.

Factories are creating bolt action rifles for Baltic troops, and wagons are being manufactured so horses can pull heavier loads.

The wires connecting the hydro plant to all the buildings in Riga and Latvia are completed, and the plant starts producing electricity. The Eesti oil shale power plant is being refurbished, and power cables are being set up throughout Estonia. ((6 pages.))

The Kaunas hydro power plant is also being repaired by engineers, and a makeshift power grid is created through Lithuania. ((7 pages.))

Gothic Tribe of Greenland

 

With the new colony of Nyhavn, the High Gothi decided that the tribe's name had become somewhat defunct. After discussing the matter with the head Gothi of the other temples, it is decided the tribe be renamed to the Gothic Tribe of Greenland.

 

And with the docks at Nyhavn complete, and the Icelandic Queen's agreement to the trade deal, Gothic iron begins being sent to the Icelandic ports. In return for the iron, coal is sent back to Nyhavn, and from there, most is sent to Nuuk. Soon, traders on both sides begin recognising the new markets, and trade vessels become a more common sight in the Denmark strait. 

 

 

As well as this, the invitation to invade the land of "Europe", as the Icelandic queen had called it, certainly piqued the interest of the High Gothi. Sending word he would have an attack fleet ready within a year and a half, the High Gothi orders the expansion of the fleet. The additions include:

The new fleet alone will be able to carry a total of 1700 men, and will be ready within the year and a half, as promised. ((9 pages))

These additions would put the Gothic war fleet at the following levels:

Therefore, the total troop capacity of the Gothic war fleet would be around 2800 men, however around 100 of these would most likely remain behind on the Soknbatrs in order to use the cannon weaponry.

The Wardom Of New England:

The Scavengers have released a name-change to their allies and now begin to follow suit by officially electing their king: Warrior King Ebb Of Boston.

Letters are sent to each of the known factions:

The HydroElectric damn is finished and electricity flows throughout The Tip and its surrounding villages. Batteries are charged and sent to the outer rim settlements, to give them artificial light as well. The Farmlands surrounding the Tip have entered a harvest season apples and other foods that become ripe in the fall are harvested. The Hunters bring in plentiful batches of game, capturing and taming wolf pups as war-dogs as well. Every other night training sessions go on in each Wardom settlement where citizens are trained to use the bronze weapons made in New Callahan and trained to fire weapons such as crossbows, bows, rifles, pistols, and machine guns.

 

WarGames are held in the Tip's new arena every night where spectators can watch in awe as volunteers fight it out until the other man is unconscious in the arena. When using POW slaves gained from the War Of Red Plains the slaves fight to the death in brutal competition.

 

 

 Meanwhile in Blue-Town construction goes about its normal process as they produce a large ship, small fishing vessels also catch fish off of Blue-Town and in the Hudson while lobster fishers prosper in the Atlantic off of Maine. Trade offers of bronze cannons and a fishing vessel are sent to the Union near the Great Lakes. The Wardom also asks for a way to obtain the wild elephants that roam the area around the Union.

The South German Federation

 

As Berne fell, again another Republic fell to the Federation. The golden banners flew through the thick mountain snow and winds, the 1,400 survivors saluting the flag and listening to the national anthem in triumph and pride. Winter was coming again in Europe, colonization into Italy delayed for the duration of the winter. Most of the Legion has been assigned to cities in the Swiss Republic, while another about 12,000 men are spread out through the areas owned in the German territories.

 

 

As the rivers begin to freeze, so does trade between the regions of the Federation. A governor is assigned to the Swiss Republic to rule over it, giving him control to form his own army out of the Swiss population (a new 200,000 men). Most German soldiers in Switzerland board the last trains back to Heidelberg, Munich, and Koblenz. They are stationed on multiple border areas, keeping the borders secure during winter. This winter would not result in the thousands of deaths like last time, several dozen shipments of grain and meat are sent out to each province of the Federation,  hopefully providing a bulwark against starvation.

 

 

The new uniforms are complete, the contest won by a man from Mannheim who based his concept off an old uniform called 'Feldgrau.' It was a well made concept, and the man is hired and given three textile factories to manage in order to produce these uniforms. They are expected to be handed out and made standard issue by the spring. (1 page).

The New Norwegian Kingdom

 

The oil rig is finally repaired, and barrels of oil start being filled. The fuel is used for military purpose only so far, mainly on the navy's corvette and armed cargo ship. Engineers and the people who had been part of repairing the oil rig look into a way to quicken the drilling and making the rig over-all more effective and increasing it's production ((6 pages)).

 

Trondheim is cleaned up and most houses and buildings have been repaired in the new city. Farms fill the Southern part of the New Norwegian Kingdom and even though the population relies mostly still on fish from the Lofoten and Nordland areas because of winter freezing the crops. Teams of hunters are sent out across the Kingdom to not only get meat for the winter, but also hides and furs which are made into thick clothes to keep the heat. Although it is a pity the hydro plant near Trondheim is beyond salvage, a coal plant enters construction, to be produced by charcoal from the abundant forests just as the one in the capital. The plant is built near the already existing hydro plant and little copper is needed for laying cables, since the plant would be connected to the left-behind grid from the old hydro plant. Because of the peasants and few other inhabitants of the land joining the Kingdom, the population of Trondheim increases to 12,000 (garrison included), and the Kingdom's population is now 102,000.

 

Up North, in the capital, King Olav VI orders the further exploration and colonization of the mainly deserted Norwegian lands. He assembles a force of 1,000 soldiers and 500 workers, plus some 100 scouts and scavengers. The scouts and scavengers head North, past the Kingdom's borders and into what of Northern Norway that was not already under King Olav VI's control. If they would not find anything out of the ordinary but a few surviving groups and communities of fishers and farmers like down South, the 1,500 men of workers and soldiers would follow, the soldiers "convincing" the natives to join the New Norwegian Kingdom, and the workers starting construction on the city of New Narvik, which would be located directly in the middle of the new land they had taken in North Norway ((3 pages)).

 

Two projects begin as well. The first involves reverse-engineering a HK416 ((12 pages)). The other project is the construction of a new shipyard which hopefully would be able to build big ships for military or trade purposes ((6 pages)).

New Haven

Horrors Within the Metro: Rescue Mission(Mod Required Actions)

       Horror strikes the initial crew of fourteen men as they identify the three scouts. Discovering the varying ages and lack of equipment among the rest surrounding the fallen trio, they dispatch a duo to report to the Palissya Hotel, in hopes of receiving instruction on how to proceed.
      With no concern of Xanthur Touschnik's instructions, the remaining twelve carry onward, adopting a method of concealing themselves within shadows as they cautiously follow down the discharged rails, guiding their group towards the mysterious orange light.

Advancement

       The radio tower has finally been completed and situated atop the Palissya Hotel. The mostly modern-day radio tower is capable of both transmitting and receiving signals and messages from a control panel located on the sixth floor of the hotel.
      Several vehicles, mostly motor bikes, have also been prepared for use, excluding fuel. While on the topic, a duo from the reserved soldiers within Pripyat have been sent to extract as much fuel from the vehicles within and near New Haven.
 

Beyond New Haven's Grasp(Mod Required Actions)

       Having received word of the unidentified colony along the western side of Kiev. Attempting to take the diplomatic route initially, a duo from the Kiev Perchesk Lavra and an individual from the Kiev Grand Bell Tower are sent in attempt to make peaceful contact with the group, only the duo from the Kiev Perchesk Lavra armed in uniform modified nail guns, their only special equipment being a single walkie-talkie.
      Also, upon arrival and the murder of the few ragtag groups, Group A within the Kiev Perchesk Lavrawould proceed to search the bodies and buildings themselves in hopes of finding equipment or general supplies. A duo, however, would search specifically for a stewing pot belonging to the deceased. If successful, they would begin the tedious task of directly harvesting livers, pecs, biceps, ham strings, and triceps from their former hosts, cooking them through a slow braise.
       Group B, within the Kiev Grand Bell Tower, would also proceed to search the bell tower and any victims within it for extra equipment and supplies, before a duo from their cluster would imitate that of their sister group's chefs, one of both of each designated chef owning a cast-iron braising pot, obviously made rather recently.

New Haven

Siege(Mod Required Actions)

       The vastly growing community of New Haven has found themselves at a stand point in which they do not wish to remain. Three teams have been made: Group AA, Group BB, and Group C. 

       Group AA has been assigned the task of finding and claiming Ukraine's 1st Armoured armed forces base, stripping it of any valuable weapons, and maintaining that position until further notice from Pripyat. 

       Group BB has been assigned the task of finding and claiming Ukraine's 95th Airmobile armed forces base, stripping it of any valuable weapons, and maintaining that position until further notice from Pripyat.

       Group C has been assigned the task of finding and claiming Ukraine's 72nd Mechanised armed forces base, stripping it of ALL valuable weaponry at all costs, and then, if possible, destroying the base upon exit.
       Each group has been provided with uniform modified nail guns, two members of each group have been assigned a military box radio, and all have patched Kevlar vests and helmets. If their assigned mission seems that their success is impossible, they are to retreat to their tactical stations immediately.
      Group AA would evacuate back to Pripyat.

      Group BB would split in half, one group evacuating to Pripyat, the opposite group to the Kiev Perchesk Lavra.

 

      Group C would split in half, one group evacuating to the Kiev Perchesk Lavra, the opposite group to the Kiev Grand Bell Tower.

Kingdom of Ethiopia

 

The treaty between Egypt & Ethiopia is accepted, and the two glorious kingdoms fudge in one. The goverment becomes centralized, and the total population is now 230,000. However, many things need to be done for them to be organized.

 

The radio tower is completed in repairs, and makes sure the guard force can remain in contact around the capital and outskirt villages.

Farms remain to be expanded, the balance is good so far.

 

The ship returned to Ethiopia is being properly supplied and prepared for a long road to the new lands, a smaller ship however is going to check up with the Serbian colony.

 

The Ethiopians await the answer from the Australians in Helassies palace.

The ironclad and heavy monitor warship were finally finished. Additionally, a fifth factory is opened, although an incident makes it that it will not be fully operational for several months ((1 page)).

 

Work on two new Frigates begin. It will take almost a year to complete ((4 pages))

 

The troops and settlers on the frontiers settle down for winter. Due to the actions taken beforehand to suppress starvation in the eastern districts, the period shouldn't be too bad.
