A Commission Long Overdue

A painter commissioned by the late Siegmund Carrion finally finishes his work, a depiction of the 1414 Siege of the Dreadfort's sally in the perspective of the charging Carrions. It arrives at the Krelmstad for the current Lord of Kralta to do as he sees fit with the illustration.

Simeon Carrion rests in the hallski, resting in his chair. His chin is cupped in the palm of his hand, and he watches Orlik sniff Carrion White. He sighs, refusing it as he is offered. Soon after, a courier arrives with a large canvas. Simeon looks up, not interested in it at first. Orlik makes ready to eat the man, but Simeon beckons him to show the portrait first. His eyes shimmer as it is revealed. Immediately, Simeon goes over towards the map of Raev. There are too many trophies for it to be hung on a fresh piece of stone, so he rips the section where Baile once stood, and then motions for Orlik to bring the portrait over.

"Da. Is good."

Simeon allows Orlik to eat the courier now.

Lorik Edain smirks as he is, of course, shooting someone in the face with an arrow.
