The Settlement of Kvaz

IC:

The strelesy of the Raevirs people had become boundless, wild, untamed. Migrating on the back of the Orenian nation to the Fringelands, the Raevir people settled in Vekaro, but not for long; after the destruction of the classical Raevir style within the town and the tensions embroiled, the Raevirs had found no reason to linger and decided to create their own settlement.

“We blow the bone-horn to mark the call of Great Duma.” he said, harkening his memory back to the stories Siegmund told him of the ‘Great Dumas’, called by the greatest of Raevir warlords. “Ruthern-kin, my good blood-kin. Many years has it been since Ruthern arrived on shores of Anthos, thirsty for the blood of Carrion enemies. In honor of your return, I ask you, Ruthern, to blow the bone horn of old; it is the greatest honor of our Duma.”

--

“Uncle Otto!” yelled the young nephew, “Chapel is finished.” pointing towards the massive parish now deemed ‘St. Hunwald’s Chapel”.  It was inside the chapel’s walls that the priest Borsa Bartolomej resided, acting as the resident priest of the new chapel. His secular counterpart whom acted as town elder was the Kvazian Maer known as Vassily, a Raevir strelt of the crow’s plume and well-wizened of their ways.

A notice is plastered across various hubs in the Fringe

“Looking for a safe home with good company? Come to Kvaz, a fledgling town growing each day! With an active in-house priest and a community of level-minded commoners and nobles alike, Kvaz is a great place to lay down ones roots in the vast wilderness which is the Fringe. We take to all those whom can aid the town with trade or skill.

Directions to Kvaz are as followed; from the Vekaro gate’s, facing Mt. Augustus, one should head straight and right of Mt. Augustus. A few paces right of Mt. Augustus and you should be there!”

OOC:

The new Raevir settlement of Kvaz is now open for business!

To become an official citizen of Kvaz, which gives one the right to own or rent property in the town, all you need to do is come to the town and roleplay. We don’t want to bother with too much OOC so as soon as you prove to be trusted and an asset to the community you will be added. However, if you do consider stopping by, it’d be nice if you posted an RP post in this thread saying your character is heading to Kvaz. Not only does it bump the thread but it will let us know ahead of time of your arrival. You can also leave your skype if you want to get in touch with the community OOCly.

We could use players with any and all roleplay professions. Notable ones include shopkeepers, barkeeps and cooks, to help keep the RP economy afloat; in general we would like more RP professions to encourage roleplay, though those who can gather resources are naturally accepted as well!

The hierarchy of the settlement is as follows. Contact them if you want to find out more or have any special requests:
