    Would it be possible to have a Your View thread about the MT projects? I didn't mind this one, and to be honest, I'd rather we just had something like this. Maybe once every two weeks instead of every week though to allow for more news to be added and give more time for other projects (trailers, etc.) I see some potential in this; it just needs to be developed a bit more. I'll reserve my opinions on the other projects for another time.

So...what I see alil is that the community are acting like little high-school girls (that don't know what they want) is very annoying.. first y'all are staying the MT are unless and don't do anything. And when we do something most people are still not pleased. Can you do better?! If so please show us! Jesus be grateful... if its not good or amazing oh let us try to make it. We do have lives to do to.. We're not freaking robots. We can't spend our lives trying to please ungrateful brats. If you don't like it and want to rage about it or throw rotten tomatoes gtfo. If you don't like it and want to help us improve, comment maturely. Your just going to make yourself look worst than the video. This is just the pilot, oh duh it gets better in later episodes so calm down.. it takes time for great things and much patience which most people don't. Either suck it up and try to put your feet into others shoes or just continue to be a selfish person that no one will like and only talk crap behind your back. -Rant over-

First off, those so call "Greasy Nerds" Put their heart in to this, and that comment is very well not appreciated. It is not our jobs to make people cringe. Like stated before LoTCN is a replacement to LoTCBC. The news is there for a reason, and while yes, it's probably old information, it's probably something that someone doesn't know about. As for entertaining videos, those take more time to produce and edit.

• Animation's

Trailers require multiple takes to get the shot right and good video editing to make it look appealing. Machinima's, same thing as the trailers. Multiple takes to get the right shot, good video editing, and voice acting if it is needed. Animation's take ages to make and ages to render. 300 frames to render take about three days to finish, plus the amount of time of making the animation look good and properly made.

To be completely honest, I didn't want this to get posted (as a member of the media team). I already posted my feedback. I hated the way I sounded in that broadcast, and the whole thing felt... well... forced. In fact, I just wanted to redo my entire section ;-;. But enough about me. You guys got my feedback in the chat.

 

I'd rather take quality over quantity at this point.

I will not be forcing my team members to making newspaper characters, just because you believe that IC news cannot be announced anywhere else. It's selfish. I am not "essentially allowing, or promoting" people to metagame. How do we ruin the surprise? There is no ruin, if you didn't know about it before you saw, that there is your surprise. New plugins don't come in weekly.

 

 

Am I telling you to force them to make those characters? Am I implying the media team should make those characters? The answer to both questions is: No. I never said IC news cannot be announced anywhere else. I said I do not believe they belong in the same section as OOC. I am not being selfish, but I do consider you are taking this criticism too personal. If players know about what's going to happen in character through OOC, the surprise is basically ruined. The goal is to surprise the characters AND the players.

As I said, IC should not be combined with OOC, because it's not really meant to be that way.

I couldn't care less about the plugins, by the way. It was just an example.

Intro music isn't suiting to LOTC, get more things than news reports( interviews, upcoming events, etc.). Thank you for doing this, is good publicity for the server and good information for players.

I won't lie, but the entire framing of the 'White Rose' is disingenuous and appears a blatant swipe at them. Last thing we need is sanctioned video game politics and billy-clubbing, cut it out and redo the entire "news outlet". It was nearly as cringe-evoking.

While news is cool and all, we really don't want or need it. We don't need you telling us things we already found out or could easily find out through roleplay. Why not work on things like advertisements to draw new players in, instead of telling all of the existing players what they already know?

 

I mean, I'm sure you guys worked hard on this, and we all appreciate that you're actually starting to do stuff, but this is a step on the wrong direction, but it can be fixed. I look forward to some more original things from you guys in the future.
