Branaford bursts into laugh as he says "Have ya forgotten? What of the civilians ya killed in the 4th war ya caused against Oren?! I saw ya with me own eyes laughter thousands of innocents when Vekaro was still the capital! Ya proved ya monstrosity through this, Wulfgar."

Wulfgar shakes his head, leaning forward over the battlements.

"Tell meh 'uman, du' ye value ah dwarven, orcish 'er elven loife 'as aneh lesser t'an t'at ov yer own kin? Oren sought tu invade t'e Conclave, yet yu su' simpleh forget t'at fact, aye? Oren begun ah war t'ey could nawt win lad. T'at is nay fault ov moine, nor aneh dwarf fer t'at mattah. Even as weh laid siege to Vekaro, it was nawt civilians 'o payed fer t'e bloodlust ov t'eir mastahs. Weh left Oren wit' opportuniteh n' 'ope. Ah'd onleh expected t'at by now, t'e constanst warrin' between the sons ov 'oren n' Urguan wud 'ave ended. Ah reget tu say t'at per'aps ah wus wrun'."

"I value life so godanistan can assure me a place in the seven skies...But, do not forget the attrocoties ya kin has committed back in Anthos. The fact that they betrayed every race on this very earth! Ya allied with scourge! Where is ya honor now? Where was the honor when I saw Igor, Zahrer, Fili and others slaughter innocents in Abresi and other Orenian villages! I can assure ya that ya dwarves want us dead and that is why ya slaughtered our civilians, don't deny it because its been proven ya dwarves neglect this 'code' of honor."

Wulfgar edges slightly closer as he glares down at the human, his voiced raised slightly.

"Neglect ov honour?! Comin' frum ye 'uman, t'at is rathah ironic. Evah since Emperor Peter wus' crowned, weh dwarves 'ave aboided by t'e treateh t'at stud between us. Weh 'ave allowed Oren tu act as it pleased tu prevent war. Did weh appear ah nation t'at wished yer destruction? Iff lettin' Oren run rampant wus wut it tuuk tu create peace, su' beh it. Branaford begins narrowing his sight to Wulfgar as he immideatly stands up exclaiming

"Aye, neglecting of ****** honor! I pillage those who hurt me kinsman! Ya dunnae justify the death of the strelts that were killed by ya men and ya cannot deny it by saying ya are honorable because ya have proven ya self countless times that ya are dishonorable! Ya hatred to our kin has been apparent since the first war ya started against us! I want to see this honor ya speak of before ya use it to judge the peasants and men ya have been opressing ever since indago's reign! Honor ya call it..."

Wulfgar grips his hands around the brickwork of the city's wall, still staring down at the human.

"Weh proved our 'onour w'en weh stud by t'e treateh. Ah treateh t'at ye 'ave now broken fer nay reason t'an ye own battered proide. Yer justification is senseless. Past actions frum t'e reign ov ah King lun' past duh nawt constitute ah war. Nor dus' it prove our dis'onour. Ye luuk tu t'e past becus' ye cannot justify t'e present. "At t'e end of t'e last war between man and dwarf t'e two sides agreed t'e put t'e past atrocities committed against one another in t'e past. Are we both fool enough t'e let past wounds flare up once more?

Ah propose we organise peace talks on neutral ground, 'osted by t'e 'igh Elves or t'e Wood Elves of t'e Bronze Law. Somewhere where ah bloodbath willnae occur. Then we can see where both soides stand. If t'e Grand King or t'e Emperor refuses t'e restore

peace without tryin' t'e derail things with silleh demands, then we'll knuw who t'e warmongers are."

The Emperor sends a messenger in his stead, he speaks the written word of the Emperor as he reveals a large piece of parchment:

"The Dwarves speak of honor and integrity, yet the honor of the Dwarves is worth less than he dust that gathers on my throne in my absence. In my reign of being an Emperor, I had to make two separate Defensive pacts with your race in the matter of a single saint's month. The first dwarf was that of the title of Lord Regent, the second a "true" Grand King. Now what... another new King sits on the throne?

Your foreign policy changes faster than that of the food that moves through my bowels, and in my absence I've been told that the Dwarves have marched on Vekaro in force numerous times and have even attempted to kill one of my very council members.

You attack one part of Oren, you attack all of Oren. Unlike you- the Humans have a sense of honor and fealty- and I have made promises to my people, promises that I intend to keep. You will be shown honor when you show it in return, for it seems a signed piece of paper and a formal meeting means nothing to the Dwarven kind, though that may be attributed to your instability and lack of firm leadership.

This is a formal message of myself ending all further communication with the Dwarven kind until they show proper remorse for their actions, should further infringement upon our agreement continue, expect the full force of Oren to come crashing upon you like the days of old."

The messenger rolls up the piece of parchment, lowering his head respectfully before moving off. Seemingly having no more words to be spoken.

Fimlin shakes is head, obviously disappointed that the Emporer condones such actions.

Wulfgar simply sighs as he hears word of the Emperor's response.

*The messenger sent by Emperor Peter would return to Kaledonia, the note he was sent with is

a darker yellow, a little stained by the dim candle light and polished table. The seal of Urguan is

impaled on to red wax which seals the two edges together. It reads:*

"No, us Dwarves don't just speak about honor and integrity, but it is the morale code we live by.

I find it disappointing that whilst you let your ruskan dogs run around like the rabid beasts they are, and whilst you sit far from the throne that you betrayed to earn, you have not shown the initiative nor  the decency to contact me or any of our Lords for that matter. So I find it insulting and hypocritical that you set the blame of this petty conflict on us, when you allow your men

to amble around slicing the necks of anything that moves? I am willing to hand over Bastion  Ireheart, if you are  willing to punish the scummy Carrions that disease your Empire.

Honestly, I expected you to be a man of intelligence and justice but evidently the fiery desire for

war that your Nation feeds off proves to me that you are not. You condone banditry through the

justification of revenge and yet we offered reconciliation through the fair trial of Bastion Ireheart.

We don't wish for war Peter Chivay, we protect the interests of our people to

the best of our ability as do you I am sure. As I have stated I will hand over Bastion Ireheart

if the Ruskans are punished for their crimes. Take it or leave it.

If you wish for war Peter Chivay, being the pampered prince you are, I am sure it will come your way.

But remember- Be careful what you wish for

~Vorstag Grandaxe~

-snip-

The Emperor laughs a hearty chuckle as the Dwarf insults him with numerous lines of lies and slander, he takes the notes from the messenger and throws it onto the ground. After doing so, he spits onto it with a mighty heave.

"What an up-jumped little *****. I can't wait to show him how insulting the wrong person can make a turn fer' the worst."

Peter orders the messenger to alert the council that is around the palace that a meeting is to be held in the coming Saint's day.

Nodding to the Emperor, he pulls a bit of wool from each of his ears and turns to leave the palace halls, "Good to finally do somethin' abou' all this crying. The 'eart felt passive aggressive jabs from the days o' Malinor were gettin' quite ol'."

Kardel sighs, finding the constant wars with the Great Mess that is Oren annoying and bad for business.

"Da Urenians be un bastardleh kingdum, aye, dats wut dey be. We shuud 'ave destroyed dem w'en we 'ad da c'ance. Ah begged da Gran' King aftah dat war we 'ad wif dem. . .w'en da Lucienists tuuk uvah.
