Lasacow, a member of our community underwent an operation today, 50/50 chance of survival, he suffered from a malignant tumor and unfortunately didn't make it. I'm kind of finding it hard to put this **** into words I guess, i've had friends in the past I know pass away, but this in a way is different. For what i'm about to type, i'm going to use his real name, because it'll be easier for me to say, anyway. I remember the first day Archie joined LOTC, this was back last summer, me, him, his brother, Kipples, Faeron and a few others who literally just joined Kralta and our little OOC community, I remember literally just approaching his character like "You're one of mine now, you have no option in this." and he simply said straight up "Alright, thats fine by me." I'd put him on guard duty? He'd patrol around the entire castle until I ordered him to do something else, Archie is pretty much irreplaceable. Without Archie I doubt i'd be in the position I am today, many people think in terms of virtual online games is that you accomplish most **** by yourself, reality is, its the people around you which put you in a high enough position, without the lesser folk a kingdom would be nothing. The one thing I liked about him the most was his loyalty, the way that we pretty much talked about anything and everything, and I literally can't picture life without him being around. From Baron to King, from King to Lord, he stuck with me through it all. I literally don't really know what to say right now, except. I'll miss him, a lot, looking back on it I could have done so much more for him to give him a much better role playing experience, and i'm sure many of you who did role play with him realised he was a pretty chill guy to hang around with. I'm going to stop there, literally can't find the words to say right now. Blundermore 2741 Share Posted May 31, 2014 (edited) My Condolences, the hardest part in any friendship is dealing in the lose of said friendship. I lost a friend at age 17 due to the fault of doctors prescribing too much antibiotics, thus instead of the glandular fever he was suffering from killing him, he was killed by the common cold practically. It's not easy, seeing a plaque and tree in the front of your school for someone you knew. There's no real way of "getting over it", you just unfortunately learn to accept it.
