Ok, this seems kinda fair.

So no more raids, BUT if a settlement is warclaimed and loses, boom, chests are open and free gain, but then no more attacks for 2 months.

Yeah, I can live with that.

Why on earth would a group have to pay to go to war? They already have to supply themselves with armor, weapons, food, etc. To throw this in is just added BS. I don't see the RP reasoning either if your nation is self sufficient... why would we just throw 32 gold blocks and two double chests full of food into the air and have it magically vanish?

This reminds me of the great wars in Aegis [my brand Teutonic Order!]. A little crash-testing may be needed, but I can dig it.

Because minecraft war is cheap and no one pays their soldiers. Soldiers need to be payed men and horses fed etc, ave realism!

Due to the extremely close range of the Ram and placement of one's self in potential killzones, ram hits should be reduced to 60 seconds. For sure.

Also! Keep raids but bring back 72 hour cool-downs with required administrative observation for the duration of the raid.

Last edit, I promise!

Siege defenders should have to fork over a pre-set amount of food, to properly simulate potentially starving to death due to siege camps encircling a settlement.

That doesn't even make sense. This new plugin and it's bs wait times makes it hard enough to get ready for a war. Now we have to throw stuff into the air and have it magically disappear ON TOP of having to get the actual food, weapons, armor, and siege equipment.

Most of the rules are pretty good, but no raiding would be quite problematic for Orcs who literally run off raiding and banditry

Also apologies for the delay, I debated seriously on whether I should allow settlements be taken without consent, as it was like in Asulon. 

 

The result was negative. But perhaps 2 months of ooc protection sounds too much. We will test the victory and losing conditions, everything will be subject to change over the course of time. 

 

I believe 2 months is too much. A month or so after getting rekt should be enough. As for the serious debating you were doing, if you want to make a lot of people quit the server, go ahead and make it like that. (Not being super serious, but you will have people leaving if that happens). :D

I'm not sure what I was expecting with that...

 

Anyway, I presume that bandit RP along the roads is still legal? So orcs and other groups can still do that.
