Ashes and dust blew slowly from the library of the High Remembrancers. A thick column of black smoke rose steadily from the center of the city.

Any who approached the library would fined it in ruins. A large crater surrounded by swirling flames and charred books was all that remained of the desk of the High Remembrancer. In the midst of the crater, a large hole leading to the restricted section of the dwarven library was dug out. Piles of rubble and ash lay at the bottom where they had fallen and tomes regarding all manner of knowledge had vanished from the shelves. And on the side of the crystal lay the charred corpse of a dwarf. The only thing to identify him was the black and yellow robes of Clan Irongrinder...

"Dis be a sad day fer us all, take yer deserved rest Zahrer.

Looks around for a bit and sighs at the sight of all kinds of knowledge being lost.

He walks out and comes back with tulip, placing it near the hole.

After some time, Faiz hears word of the Irongrinder's passing from a friend within his office, telling him that the dead dwarf is most likely to be Zahrer Irongrinder.

As Faiz is told the news, his face remains blank, unable to believe that Zahrer has died. The friend walks out of his office to leave Faiz be, as Faiz stares down at his paperwork continually thinking. "Zahrer? No.. He can not have died, there is no way.." Faiz begins to think a bit more, his head buried in his hands as he begins to remember the good times with Zahrer, alongside Dizzy. He remembers the first day he met Zahrer, the countless times they've fought and planned together, of the many wars they partook in, including the war when they fought against one another.. But yet, even when Faiz and Zahrer fought against each other in the Fringe war, every encounter they had with one another, they still knew that there were no hard feelings between each other, that through it all they will still be friends, for their history is great and it can not be turned to hatred so easily.

Faiz begins to shed his tears now, weeping within his hands, unable to think of what to do next. He lifts his head up, wiping away his tears of sadness that continue to fall "His time was not meant to come to an end so soon.." after a few minutes more of mourning for Zahrer, he stands up from his chair and walks towards an open window, wiping his face clean of tears once more. He looks out the window for a moment, then bows his head as he speaks a short prayer of the true faith, he then goes on to speak in a foreign dialect..

"Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon, rahmat allah alayk sadiqi.." he clears his throat, standing their quietly for some time before retreating back to his desk, erasing a day off his schedule and replaces it with a time to visit Zahrer's grave.

A solitary figure can be seen high in the dwarven mountains, motionless.

Not a word is spoken
