Borders Of Athera

Copies of a small, newly made border map representing most of the mainland of Athera are sent around the realm, free to all that wish to take one.

"I bring upon you a newer version of the worlds boundaries, including nation holdings and their vassals. If anything is incorrect, please inform Faiz Kharadeen of Aesterwald. Enjoy."

A old smaller version of the old map is upon the back, listing known cities, but a few border errors.

Upon the back of the map, it reads..

"This was hastily made by the Lord Chancellor of Aesterwald, Faiz Kharadeen. I'm sure this map is rather inaccurate, especially with the naming of a few nations, as well as excluding a few settlements that I have no knowledge of. The borders may be incorrect as well. If something needs to be adjusted, added, or completely redone, send this copy of the map back to me with the corrections done and I will reprint out copies to send about the realm.

Special thanks goes to Lynch de Bar, for I used his map as reference, and thanks to the cloud temple for allowing me to reprint copies of their public map in a smaller form.

May you find great use of this map, and may peace be with you all.

~Faiz Kharadeen

P.S. If someone is able to send me a larger scaled version of the map that also include more of the west, I would be very grateful. Thank you."

A letter is sent to the cartographer of said map, or his office. It reads:

"Dear Cartographer of Asterwald,

The map you have produced appears to be inaccurate with dwarven lands. The area between the elves and the dwarves is actually a hard border, with the dwarves controlling the outcrop of land between the two states to the south.

A correction may be in order so that you people can appropriately navigate. A settlement sits there named "Grayhaven."

Best wishes, Lori Ireheart."

The Princedom of Fenn suddenly feels forgotten, too far west to make the map :(

((Fenn consists of that small pocket of unowned land in the top left corner, and a significant portion of lands to the west that are not on the map xP))

(( How about making a RP response to a RP cartographer? Rp bro.. write a letter. ))

The wicked witch smirks under her hood, as she recieves the map. She moves to her left pocket, pulling out a small dagger, raising her arm, as if she is ready to strike. The dagger launches forwards, hitting the capital of Oren, Petrus. She does this numerous of times, until she has a clear view of all the targeted cities and settlements. Then she turns, throwing her cape over her shoulder, as she walks out the rotten door to her hideout, disappearing into the forest.

A letter arrives at Faiz's dwelling, reading the following:

"The Princedom of Fenn holds all land north-west of Aesterwald up to the canyon."

((Literally all the green areas north and west of aesterwald that are on the south side of the canyon yo))

(( the snelves have all of like 4 people, how do you have more land than haelun'or? ))

The letter is returned

"The Princedom has been added, but has not been granted all of the northern jungle lands as they claim to have in control. Many travelers and diplomats have entered your supposed nation, but have found nothing but one vacant town and a walled piece of land that contains nothing within. Unless we can truly see life bustling within the northern jungles, it shall remain neutral, and the princedom has been mapped as holding the walled piece of land and the nearby village. Apologies, send a diplomat to Aesterwald if you wish to veto this decision. "

An inquisitive letter, written on dried parchment, sloppily, with a crude ink, arrives to Faiz's residence in the talons of a hawk.

"Wub da skah!  Wen ded da Ztowtz claym da desurt!  Dat zhuud be fur da Uzg!

Signed yours truly,

Faunher'Gorkil"

Syrin looks at the map, shaking his head lightly before sending off a note to the creator of said map.

"The land that you have named the 'Princedom of Fenn' is incorrect. That land is owned and run by me and my hired men. The town is named Nirys and is under Hanseti. If you could rectify this mistake, I would be greatly appreciative." -Signed Syrin.

Where did you get the map?
