Flagrant Disregard To The Articles

Uldar Irongut would write a letter to the Council of Thanes, written in elegant handwriting. He would also distribute copies of the same letter to various places around the KIngdom of Urguan.

"In the case of a tie, a tie breaking conclave shall be held at a location designated by the High Prophet on the stone day immediately preceding the election stone week. In this conclave, only the votes of Prophets who attend in person shall be counted, and votes may only be cast for the tied candidates with the highest number of votes. In the case of a tie at the conclave, the High Prophet shall choose the candidate who he considers most personally honorable."

That is an excerpt from the first amendment of our very own Articles of Urguan. Now, you might ask the significance of that, of which I will reply that the Thanes of the Clan Council have blatantly disregarded the Articles that hold our very Kingdom together. Rather than to follow the word of those who represent the Brathmordakin, the Prophets, they have taken it upon themselves to decide our Grand King through means of a "Holy Coin-toss". Where, I ask, in the articles does it state that such an exception may be made?"

At the bottom in very large letters, in tribute to the disposed King Midgor Ireheart, it states plainly,

"Tyranny Manifest."

"When th' toime came t' make a decision based un th' toie, th' clergeh decoided t'ey werenae capable uf makin an impartial decision an' passed on th' decision t' Balek an' mehself. Weh could 'ave called fer anotheh vote, an honor duel, anehtin realleh. But weh decoided un a twu out o' dree coin toss t' let Yemekar decoide by our luck. Weh were equalleh guud based on th' vote uf th' people but it was th' Brathmordakin's decision in th' end. I's as simple as tha'."

"There wus nae' anythin' 'oly nor 'onorable 'bout tha' coin toss. If ye're tryin' 'ta convince anybodeh otherwise, 'ets a bloodeh lie. Ae say t'is with tha' best in mind fer tha' Kingdom, follow th' Articles of tha' Kingdom and ye'll neva' 'ave an issue, buh stray from tha' and ye'll 'ave problems loike t'is 'un all tha' toime. T'is needs 'ta be taken before tha' Court o' Mountains 'ta be decided whetha' or nae 'ets constitutional"

Uldar would reply to Zahrer.

Dizzy laughs at the words of Uldar, shaking his head sadly

"Know ye not'in o-our 'oleh brat'mordakin lad? Tu process o-breakin a deadlock in election beh tu allow tu brat'mordakin tu decide, an t'at es just w'at weh did. Ye spit in tu face o-Armakak, tu Merchant Fat'er, an Yemekar, t'e maker. It saddens meh t'at beardlings are nae taught about our religion anehmore. Ye would know t'at Yemekar blessed all tu gold o-t'a world an entrusted et tu Armakak. Not a single coin-o gold passes t'rough existance t'at dussnae bear tu touch o-Armakak, an luck beh 'is game. Luck 'es nae a trivial t'ing, et be tu blessin o-Armakak tu t'a wort'iest o-dwed."

"Y' still cannae' see, t'en, tha' mah issue is tha' 'ets nah propeh in terms ah followin tha' Articles o' Urguan. Why, t'en, do weh 'ave tha' Articles if t'ey're nae' even followed by tha' Thanes? Show meh where 'et says tha' Thanes an' tha' High Prophet moight act beyond tha' Articles and ae'll beh done wit' t'is.

Y' speak of Yemekar, t'en ae'll do tha' same. 'e represents tha' balance within tha' Kingdom, does 'e nah? T'en tell meh where tha' balance 'es when tha' positions o' Justice within tha' Court o' Mountains are bein' replaced by tha' Grand King and High Prophet? Tha' Court is supposed 'ta be wha' balances tha' Kingdom buh 'et's nah being used tha' way th' Articles stated 'et. Where is tha' honor o' Dungrimm in tha'? Where is tha' balance that Yemekar stands fer?"

Uldar would reply to Dizzy's comment.

"Tu prophets decioded a way tu allow tu brat'mordakin tu decide in order to avoid t'ere own bais, bless t'em fer t'at. Alsu, strange ye s'ould quote Midgor tu "Tyrant" as propaganda against Za'rer w'en ye fail tu realize t'at 'es tu un w'o 'ad t'ese broken articals drafted."
