Abusing Racial Bonuses

Well Humans have the numbers the others do not so it doesnt really matter.

not true dwarves near the human in numbers and elves when united near the humans in numbers

if dwarves and elves team up they outnumber humans

And how will this be proven?

What if I play a high elf that looks like a wood elf with no intention of using their racial bonuses?

bias

You havnt been around lately huh? Its pretty much the dwavres and orcs defending against the two largest player bases

player base shouldnt be contemplated on whether a race gets a pvp buff or not. Oren will fall eventually, a civil war will happen eventually making the human playerbase split, and another group will eventually be able to out match oren like the zionists did in the fringe.

Humans just want what they were promised, they still managed to beat the dwarves during the schism war whilst outnumbered.

Race buffs aren't even that unbalanced. It's just one race wants something the other has and will not get it so they're complaining. IE More hearts/better archery.

Buffs for some races and no buffs for others is unbalanced. Try not to let your bias be so obvious please.

Racial buffs overall are kind of silly, at least in my perspective, but I play special snowflakes. Phaedrus almost never uses a bow but I guess instinctually knows how to because of his barky genes. He's a legendary blacksmith and at one stage was klomping so well that he finally managed to take down the Rex himself after a bit of mentoring. So we've established he's at least a little strong. Now with the obviously working buffs, that's all kind of out the window. The field is dramatically in favor of his opponents now.

Good thing he can shoot a bow real good though, for the forests!

It might be nice to choose what we want our characters to be good at. That would have eliminated the issue of switching races to begin with.

That's actually a really good point, I really like this idea

Having a stat selector type thing for our character card seems like a sortof good idea

Like, when you create your character, you get to select what you're skilled at etc, maybe choose between negative and positive abilities, stats, whatever.

Slight clarification:

Are we still allowed to make shared character cards as in you set the race to [unset] to where no race shows when you look at it using [sHIFT] + [rightCLICK], and it gives no racial buffs?
