The four racial nations are not the only thing that counts. I dare to even say that half of the RP comes from outside the four nations if not more.

 

There are loads of small groups that want to RP by themselves because the reality is that a lot of ppl are not as serious as one another and I can sort of understand sometimes why you do not want to be in a big racial city. Respect that please. Being the biggest military force is a bit irrelevant as its not a faction server and Oren have a lot of land but if you look, most of it is a hell of a lot buildings and then you got six people living there with twenty houses. It gets to a point when its about having the biggest muscles rather than providing roleplay.

I would also like to point out that you just need to be at the plot, there is no eight hour activity thing anymore?(Correct me please)

Yep but these small factions have a place within nations because last I checked most nations are rather accepting.

 

These groups, sure enough want to live regardless of nations so they shouldn't be able to claim plots next to the capital city of a nation and sit there ignoring the issue.

Half the RP on the server comes from Ramza's bloody tavern and not people who think they are going to make ''The next RP hub'' next to Oren's capital city and declare themselves a independent province or ignore Orenians law while building a massive fortress battlements and all for a 'Monster Slaying Guild'.

Has the staff ever heard of denying land to opposing nations? Ofc nations like Oren are going to occupy certain plots because they don't want dwarves or other hostile people to get them. That's politics and strategy, in rp.

Its not nations that do it. I am a dwarf, we don't claim plots in the middle of freaking Oren.

 

Its literally a issue for those unaligned who can inflict massive issues to countries by magically claiming land in a magical system of build denial because your bloke went on holiday.

You obviously didn't read his post at all. His point was that a bunch of people can just claim part of a nation because the region owner is on holiday. This would make no sense in RP and it's only possible because of the Nexus system being horribly designed.

Note everyone be under a nation, because a nation brings a lot of problems for people. A lot of people are expelled due to they are not liked oocly or are deemed "edgy" by that persons standards. If people want to be with a nation they would.

So if they are expelled why are they claiming a plot in the middle of their territory? It shouldn't be possible.

 

Nations should have defined borders with clear cut positions, this doesn't mean they are going to claim every single peace of land on the map and carving the entire map into four colours it means that the land should at least have administrative control however in the hands of a local power if your a bloody tavern sitting on their part of the stone road.

Not wanting to be under a nation doesn't mean that you can randomly take land in the middle of that nation with no RP.

His point was that it's dumb for them to take land in nations. Why are you bringing up parts of the map outside of the nations in a discussion about people taking land in nations?

While I could go around the map looking for n_ regions I could just address the issue in another way.

 

If there are no regions inbetween territories then whats the problem with all the owners who surround that unclaimable land from using it since they are a unified nation?

That's for your characters to find out ICly. And if there are none, you could try getting land through RP. We really need to revive Asulon's "Deal with it in RP" motto. People really need to stop trying to do stuff that should be done in RP(like finding land for your group, protecting your town from raiders, etc.) through OOC.
