They’ve poured acid on us, cut off our ears, locked us into ghettos, and since Asulon we’ve stood by meekly. Yet, no longer are we bound to High Elven or Kaedreni oppressors. No longer are we tethered to power-hungry weak-willed leadership. No longer will we be fragmented by our petty squabbles. The noble race of the wood elves has the rare chance to redefine themselves once more as a strong and respected peoples, true children of Malin and his grand design. To harken back to those days of glory, when the Mali’ame led a united elfkind in successful defense of the home tree and all that is Aengulic and good, is to recall the now lost nature of the wood elven race. We were a people of grit, of perseverance and noble purpose. We preserved the druidism, the trees, the wisdom of Malin, and our own people and dignity. Any wise and aged mali must recognize that no dominion lasts. In a scant few decades Linandria may find itself at threat, and we’ll be left again to fend for ourselves against incursions from all sides. The question we true children of Malin must ask, is how we will protect ourselves when the time comes to do so? Will we cry to our half-allies and offer our livelihoods up for the protection of the valah, or the bortu or the mali’aheral against one another? Or will we stand strong and united against the tyranny of the foreign despots and emperors? ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ Sirame In the ancient tongue, the word “Sirame” is representative of the most sacred of honors, of personal integrity and the connection to the forests and to oneself. It is this that has been lost by the modern Mali. It was lost several dictators ago, several foolish coups past, underfoot of several foreign armies, the destruction of our forests and the dignity of the mali race, and it is high time that it is reclaimed. It was for the protection of this Sirame that our Princeps authorized former High Prince Bravepaw and former Prince Orlanden to found and mold the Order of Sirame to doggedly pursue and champion the protection of elven dignity, and like a primal wolf pack its warriors stick together in protection of both one another and of fellow mali. Already the Order are many strong and growing in numbers, but without new champions today to guard the Mali’ame of tomorrow, it will all be for naught. On the field, the El’Annil lead the Order into battle, and off the field they tirelessly lead patrols on the streets of Cerulin and beyond and train new recruits. The El’Annil are Kairn Calithil and Elvrohir Aureon. The El’Ceru (The Mighty) are the those distinguished leaders who have also demonstrated their propensity for leadership, their might on the field, and their dedication to the Order, to Sirame, and to the dignity of the Mali peoples. They are chosen by the El’Annil as their second in command, and truly represent the ideals of Malin. The El’Chirr (The Strong) are the veteran warriors who have shown unwavering dedication and loyalty to the Sirame, Prince, and the ideals of the Mali’ame The El'Naeri (The Devout) is a position of prestige within the ranks of the Sirame. El'Naeri will receive sets of full plate as well as a powerful bow fletched by the best woodworkers. An El'Naeri follows the direct chain of command and in doing so, carries authority over El'Haler and below. The El’Haler (The Oathed) make up the majority of the Order, who have taken the oath of Sirame and made a commitment to the future of the Mali race. They are the bread and butter of the military whose bravery and dedication blaze a path forwards for our people.
