Probably when I saw someone who joined the server about an hour earlier as a Veteran In their skill. He must have done a ton of exp level grinding...

Probably sitting on top of Alkhazaar palace in Aegis with a bunch of other GM's in vanish, waiting for an event to happen, and suddenly we hear Edmund Sheffield RP'ing eating his wife Ivrae Sheffield in the room below. Literally.

I was REALLY not expecting it. It was especially amusing having a ton of GM's just sitting around twiddling their thumbs above, all like "welp that happened".

This was an OOC event, so don't hate me for it.

I was in a skype call with Liamssy and Zaichic and we were all goofing around outside Felsen. We were attacking and killing each other and Liamssy was downed and happened to land in the tree. We decided he looked like a Christmas tree decoration and had a good laugh about it.

Because we found it funny we took a screenshot of it and at that moment Liam claimed he was going to kick us out of the house.

Probably not all that funny to everyone else, it was funny to me because I was there and in the skype call.

When Denis 'de Menace' de Bar was thrown of his ducal seat!

Could you explain more? Why was he thrown out of his seat? What made him 'de Menace'? You have aroused my curiosity!

The other standout moment for me is the dancing around of what could have been between the young Elindor and the Undead maiden of Winterhall, Maeghan Sterling. Their friendship was only really beginning as Iblees held favour over her. The space between their encounters was growing longer and each time she was more denying of her feelings until a full-scale Undead attack on the Cloud Temple. Iblees had chosen her to be the new prophet but her body was not yet capable and so as the battle concluded and the last of the Undead were clearing off, her frail body lay besides the water. It was there in that moment where they could once again speak, and a decision was made that did not need to be. Maeghan chose wrongly. She resorted to trusting in the power of Iblees and returned to the Nether to regenerate. Were it not for Vardak (who was once a friend of Elindor's but at this point was one of the lead Undead warriors) forcing him to remain at the Cloud Temple, he would have pointlessly thrown his life away pursuing her to the Nether.

From that moment the young Elf abandoned his previous neutrality in the war on the Undead. Inside his heart was an emotion that rang stronger than any others he had learnt to repress. A deep and complex hatred of Iblees.

The encounters that Maeghan and Elindor had are stronger in reminiscence because their relationship was uncontrollably cut short before anything could have been. The roleplayer died a few months after.

Yes my best memories are from Aegis, deal with it. That was when I was unemployed and had a lot of time to get deep into it. There was also a subtlety to the adventures that I think has been lost over time. Since then Elindor has done some pretty cool things in a changing and fantastical world, but they are all just grand actions. The emotion seems to have leaked out of them (for me at least) and they resonate as no more than the husk of an adventure. Whereas in that first world even the smallest of roleplay felt like a story never before told, and every moment was exhilarating and emotionally driven.
