I have been asked many times in rp what my religion is and i would love to answer said question but can't because i have no idea how to find a list of the religions. Can someone please help me out? In a land listing i have to list my religion but i have no idea what my characters religion is due to the fact i have no idea what the religions are.

Though oblivion has covered most of the base religions, just pick which one your character actually follows. As you're character is a dark elf you can also worship the Ancestor spirits. :)

Some elfs follow some type of druidism religion. 

 

The Orcs have their own belief system that does not extend out of their race persay.

 

There are small cults more than anything worshiping different angels and daemons.

You could easily say your character is non-religous or an atheist until you find out the religions, unless that's what you've been doing.

It also has a good number of dark elf adherents too. You can consider adapting to this religion in RP. up to you!
