A Grand Library For All

News has already made its way all across vailor, people speaking of a grand library filled with all sorts of knowledge! They tell you of books that tell you the basic ways of magic to books so old that the title of the cover is almost smeared away. Books that tell of great historical battles to books teaching you the arts of a craft. Coincidentally as it happens, a flier flaps around in the wind and finds itself nestling before your feet! If you pick it up, it would read...

Are you one that seeks knowledge? Perhaps to educate yourself further on a subject you can't seem to find any information on. Maybe even to learn how to read this flier! Don't worry, the fella next to you will read this for you!

The Grand Library of Khalestine is finally open to all, containing almost 4000 original books,(400+) books that even date as far back as Aegis. The Grand Library will also be having classes for those that wish to learn how to read and write, or to those simply searching to enlighten themselves with knowledge.

All races are welcome, as long as you respect the library and take good care of the books you take out to read. Those that dare attempt to vandalize or cause trouble within the Library will find themselves lacking their hands, or perhaps a punishment even worse than that depending on the severity.

Just head to Al-Wakhrah, the Capital of the Caliphate of Khalestine, and follow this map to lead you to the library! There are 3 entrances, one all the way at the back and under of the Masjid, and the two within the Minarets on the far side of the Masjid, upper level.

Allah, the Creator, the one and only God and His servants have gifted us knowledge to share amongst all so that they may use it to benefit this realm. Knowledge will never be kept tucked away for a selected few, it must be given to all that seek it. Peace be upon you.

Thurak can be seen meandering about the library's literary palisades, flipping through one tome or another. Every so often he'd send a grin towards the Librarian, pleased with the Shrine to Korestruu they'd agreed on.

Aelthus walks up and down the rows of bookshelves, his eyes glancing over the titles of the books.

"Ah, found it!" he says quietly to himself as he grabs a book on potions. "I'm sure my sister would be interested in reading this."

Beaming from her librarian's desk, Rajiya observes as the activity in the library flourish. When she isn't assisting visitors or putting away tomes, she sits at her desk and plans classes to come.

((If you are interested in teaching a class or are looking for a specific class to take, message me! Suggestions and offers to help are greatly appreciated!))
