*A letter would be pasted to the notice board in Laureh'lin*

Dear Citizens of Laureh’lin

There has been much trouble recently regarding the less than stellar state of the mali affairs. The mali are hardly a thriving nation anymore. We constantly bicker with each other, attack and assault your own kin, simply because they think lesser of you. Don’t get me wrong, I understand your anger and I understand the reasons behind the verbal and physical assault on the mali’aheral, among others. But I urge you to change course, and take a less extremist viewpoint. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, in terms of physical force. We must take a more cautious course, and make more attempts at diplomacy or at the very least take it into higher account. If we fight in every war in the world, we never stop, Where do we draw the line? Will the blood we shed begin an endless cycle of death and death with no defendants?

I have no doubt we could win a war against anyone on this god given continent. I know we could go toe to toe with the colossi if we must, as we live under the watchful eyes of the aspects. I respect you. Every one of you. Our people have brought our nation from poverty and weakness, to something akin to prosperity. You’ve brought countless bounties and changed the course of our nation’s history. With your military genius, you’ve protected our nation against countless and intense threats.

On another note, I know the action in the field’s exciting, but between all the bleeding and fighting I've been reading and writing. We need to handle the situation at home. What is the state of our nation? We need to encourage economic growth within our own nation. Poverty is still an immense problem, and if you’ve not noticed, which I find unlikely, orphans run rampant through the street. We need to encourage artisans to make new things, and encourage the finer things in life. Poetry, Art, Sculpting. To make the world more beautiful than it is. By encouraging the crafting of such items, people will want to sell them and show them off. Festivals and showcases would draw the attention of people, and cause an influx of minas into the local economy. People spend a lot of money on food and art and festival going ons. This would move our minas around, distributing it to various parties, which in turn causes more people to spend. I urge every one of you to invest in the fine arts

I myself wish to keep my identity anonymous, so as you may view my opinions with an unbiased view. My face, race, name, and fame shall remain concealed for my own safety. I will henceforth write to you under the pseudonym “Mister Greene”. Mister Artemic Camoryn, I now address you directly. I wish to talk things out with you, and see if I can understand issues that face our nation, and I would hope to even agree on some of your views. You’re the leader this nation needs, but no one is perfect mister Camoryn.

Sincerely,

        Mister Greene

Valor would grip the poster "Malinor apologists..?" He would rip it down and crumple the paper "Disgusting."

"Haha but Artimec isn't even the ruler!" laughs Constantine. "Also, I cannot remember a time when the mali did not bicker and fight amongst themselves. The mali'ame aren't even out in the fields fighting all that much, what is this man complaining about? Why is he even bothering to hide his face? Has this man not actually been around for the past few years, all of his 'complaints' aren't valid anymore," Constantine huffs at this, stomping off to go find the nearest elf.

I have no doubt we could win a war against the anyone kha, halflings, Aheral and Ker, on this god given continent.

Haera hums to herself and fixes the letter. "Let's not get full of ourselves now."

Damai would read the paper a bit confused ""Who does he mean by we could win a war against blah blah blah?"

Elizabeth, on her visit, sees a man talking to his empty hands. "Are you okay?" she asks.

"llir, you are addressing Damai the Fearless, please do not question this man's integrity." Artimec said through a stern gaze at the dark elf.

"Then tell us, Damai, what do you see with your Elven eyes?" Elizabeth says in a jovial manner. "Also, Artimec - compliments to you, Laureh'lin is livelier than ever. On a side note, is the Prince feeling better yet? I need to discuss some things with him when he has recuperated."

The solemn wood elf cracked a tired smile. "Thank you. And the Prince has thankfully recovered, with luck you'll come across him in the city square."

A quiet sigh would be emitted from the young Mali'ame, Prince Tristin Tresery of Laureh'lin peering at Valor as he'd be handed the post. Several moments of silence pass between the pair before he'd promptly thanked and dismissed to his duties. "You've written this to the wrong person." he'd say before dipping his quill into an inkwell and beginning to write across a beige parchment. Being finished sometime afterwards and placed in the same place the post had been.

"Mister Greene,

You seem to have found yourself mistaken by directing this towards Artimec, my Laurir. He writes the laws and makes the punishments for those who break it. I do not blame you, however, seeing as I've recently returned from a trip that took some time to be completed. As I read over this I couldn't help but chuckle over the points you made; for frankly, you clearly have not spent much time around at all. If you had, you would've known who to direct this letter to, the 'Ame who has been leading our people for nearly fifty years now. These 'aggression's' towards the Mali'aheral, what exactly do you speak of? The only aggression there has been is towards the Mali'fenn, and that is due to them being a tumor, a cancer that has manifested itself in the minds of few Mali'aheral. This cancer is a shaming on our race entirely, and only proves to further degrade the years of work we and our ancestors have put into our people; and so, it must be eradicated mercilessly. In the years since we've annexed by Oren we have only grown. In both population, and might of military. But to think that we could take on any foe is both foolish and ignorant of you to say. Growth will continue with Laureh'lin and its economy, a project overseen by Laurir Calius Terin and Steward Siri which has shown gradual improvement in the few years it's started. Such positive progression will continue, as it will for the entirety of the Principality for the good of our people.  The discussion you wished for with Camoryn will be redirected towards myself so that such can be worked far more efficiently. I will await your response to be sent privately  to myself by whatever means you wish.

Sincerely,

Tristin Tresery, Prince of the Principality of Laureh'lin

A very old mali'ame wanders the forests of Vailor, wearing assorted robes of green and various pieces of Ivory Order plating. Eventually he finds out about this, and says to himself "Maybe, just maybe I'll come back. I'm sure that boy would love seeing my face again." Ierven chuckles to himself, and continues on.

"I do not recall any current conflicts with the Elves of Laureh'lin. Certainly though, there is a distinct coldness between our peoples due to some unfortunate events in the decades past. I am sure in time the ice will thaw, but until then blessed distance is beneficial to us both. Be wary of this author, however. There is something familiar about his writing that irks me terribly." Aetahir would say to a wood elf near the Temple docks--himself still a little too wary to venture towards Laureh'lin.

Looks at the note, shaking her head and looking confused.

"I think the wood elves are being quite peaceful nowadays. Why would someone say such a thing...?"

Calius looks at the poster and shrugs, walking off without a single word.

((Fifty IG years? about 40 IG years ago Art was in charge, and then Aleu and then you... you have only been in charge for like 20 or 25 years....then again it could be an autoage problem))
