How did you get such a big youtuber such as Gizzy to help you with this? It seems a bit strange to me, to be honest.

It is indeed but it's quite the same concept since people understand in what way to interact with others. Gizzy will obviously explain these things during the period of his video. Anywho, I picked him and we can only wait and see for the result.

 

As far as age matters, anyone is welcome to play LoTC as far as I'm concerned and anyone shall be welcomed like the person next to you.

Funnily enough Gizzy was part of a group of youtubers that LOTC was going to be involved with previously. I certainly look forward to see what you have in mind.

But to everyone else, just give him a chance before throwing around any pessimistic assumptions.

It's not so much about age as it is good RPers, and the common theme is that the younger they are; the worse their RP skills. Which is why we're worried, and if you look at all the new applications, they're awful and from a bunch of children. But, I guess we'll just have to wait and see (Good luck to the AT with all the new applications to come.)

Alright, thanks. Also, I am a bit worried for Gizzy's audience because, as stated, they are mostly younger people. There are some pretty mature concepts on LoTC, and we don't know how these people will handle it.

However I am not the person who's handled these things before, I've got experience and I'm not going to waste my time ******* about with any chance I get to help LoTC out.

Take into account that we were all once young when playing LoTC, I started playing when I was twelve... And I'm not that bad (maybe I am)

I myself was a wee lad when I started RPing at the age of 6 and if I never had any help along the way by the experienced i'd probably never gotten into it to start off with! We must try and teach those that are willing and then those that aren't.. well usualy they end up leaving anyway I suppose. But in all honesty we cannot expect new RPers to show up with long term experience when our game of choice is targeting children! So therefore if anything we should try and make these new people more experienced by sharing ours, I am not saying all of you should but atleast those that want to do so.

 

I myself have worked with youtubers and streamers in the past and people are people you flip a coin and some of them will be heads and some tails! Then there are those rare ones that land on the middle, though few and far between. We shall see what happens.

B) I believe that just because they're younger doesn't mean they're bad, I mean it's true for some I won't name names, but there can be some good ones!

Yeah, but I'm talking about when they finally stay on this server for a while they'll integrate themselves, become more mature. Plant seeds now and in time our harvest will come.

As someone who's played some parts in his videos before, they are VERY different. Just saying 'role-play' doesn't differentiate between the two types that are going on here. One is rather hardcore compared to the other.
