Yes, but this server doesn't cater to the type of role-play they experience - majority of them won't get past the applications.

Obviously not everyone is a natural born talent at role-play but they have the right to try. Besides that, it's going to be introducing them to the kind of roleplay we enjoy, the ones who make it past the application are welcome to stay and the ones who don't should be helped to have their mistakes fixed.

@Scene21 @Telanir There's going to be a problem too with all these new players, perhaps they'll only try this server out because of their idol youtuber. What exactly will you guys do to settle them? Because as soon as these youtubers leave the server there's a large chance these players will follow them. I'm suggesting we get somewhat of a guide system going again, to make these new players feel more attached to this server than their youtuber. Sure, they'll still love gizzy and [insert second youtuber], but they'll feel like staying, not getting up to go once their idol does. Get a group of people sorted out that will be designated to these new players, build friendships with them and perhaps integrate them into their guild or group.

That's where the AT comes in, to help them out and get them accepted.

But the AT can only get 2/3rds to stay just now, think of how it'll be when this promised increase comes around. Will we be lowering our standards to get them on? Will more AT members be accepted despite being poor choices to be able to tackle this migrant invasion? Tsk tsk tsk

We don't have to lower our standards, but simply help those who are interested meet them.

Yeah, Ik. As an ex AT vet I know about helping players - and these kind WON'T get in after 1-2 tries and are extremely hard to help being rather 'omg why wasn't i accepted **** u **** u **** U!!!!!!!!!!!!' after a few tries. Helping doesn't work with some people like that.
