New Players Analytic: January/February Edition

As some of you may have noticed, over the last couple months, I have been keeping track of all the new players that are implemented onto the server and tracking their activity. If you haven’t noticed! Check out the post. It can be used by any nations and factions to help recruit players and to remind players to be nicer to newbies. Below are the analytics done of the new players.

 

Total applications that were denied between January 20th and February 24th*:

Total players that were accepted between January 20th and February 24th:

Activity of New Players on Server:

Active (14+ hours): 64

Semi-active (4+ hours): 51

Inactive/ Never logged on: 115

 

Applied Race of Accepted New Players**:

Human: 120

Dwarf: 27

Woof Elf: 25

High Elf: 17

Elf (subrace not indicated): 13

Orc: 12

Dark Elf: 7

Kha: 4

Other/Mixed Race: 3

Hafling: 2

 

Age Range of Accepted Players:

9-14: 99

15-20: 118

21-25: 10

26+: 3

 

Gizzy Observations:

Active: 8

Semi-active: 15

Inactive: 14

Most of those who applied saying they were referred through Gizzy/youtubers were 10-13.

37 out of 61 accepted newbies from the week Gizzy made his video were referred by him.

 

And with that the count is over! I will continue to count new players and keep up with who is actually active. When you meet a new player, try to be welcoming and reach out to them. They may be noobs and not understand how to roleplay very well, but we were all there once. When the veteran players leave, the new players that are coming in now will be the people to continue holding up LoTC. So play nice and reach out to our newbie friends so we can keep this server going strong!

*This is including the multiple attempts at having an application accepted.

The numbers of people who stay active are higher than expected; I think this stats are wonderful. Most mc servers have a far lower stay-online ratio! Go go lotc <3

Oi I found out about this server from a video made 2 years ago. And Believe I was counted as a gizzy. I repeat I am NOT. Also I got 23 hours today (joined Saturday)
