Temp Map is a bad idea. It will push 5.0 back further. Concentrate on 5.0 and the event that will take us from Vailor please. 

 

Obligatory gripe against Tahmas, but the boy hasnt even passed his trial and he's now leading a team. When will we see people resigning from the staff due to the cronyism being shown here? Its blatant.

 

This is beyond a joke now Pandann. I, and the rest of the community would implore you and ask you outright to atll least let him finish his trial before giving him more responsibility. At least. 

 

You know, im starting to feel now that perhaps Tahmas isn't the problem Pandann. He isn't the one deciding he should have more roles and duties. 

 

If I knew more regarding donations, I'd tell you. But at this time I simply don't have enough knowledge to accurately inform you what is going off, and nobody does. Nothing is final nor confirmed and at this time all I'm doing is offering you a warning, which is all I can do and more than what I could've done.

 

If you're saying my judgement is flawed in choosing Tahmas then say so, however I'd like to disagree. So far Tahmas has shown nothing but being a hard worker and dedicated to his team and at the time I didn't have much of an option, no GM's had significant experience with the wiki and he was already very much likely to make trial anyways. I'd accept your points if they had any credibility and I'll also take responsibility should it not work out, however the fact you're imploring me to consider changing my opinion lacks any validity at this time. I'll stand by the fact Tahmas will do well, and has been.

I'm wondering, what has Tahmas done to actually deserve all this hate? He applied to become a gm, he became one. Hes a hard worker and more experienced in wiki-work then any other gm so he got put in charge of it. Being put in charge of the wiki does not really give him any more powers then he already had.

If you wish to discuss this further you may speak to me over Skype, however I still believe you fail to understand the situation and with it are drawing accusations that did not exist. Its better to have an experienced lead among the newly formed and still fragile wiki team (which remains on trial, I'll add) than introduce someone who hasn't the experience needed during these earlier weeks. 

Going against the process made me as uncomfortable as everyone else, you can ask Tahmas or any GM for that matter. However I needed to adapt to the situation at hand, for the most part I've followed a very strict and repeating system every month. This is the first time I've gone against that, and I wouldn't do it again unless convinced this was the correct option. To accuse the system of being wrong, and such causing you concern simply isn't grounded within firm earth.

No, Mojang recently started enforcing the EULA more closely. We are now re-evaluating many of the purchases available in our shop. We will have more information available in the future once we conclude our contact with Mojang.

I saw people talking about map changes... So here it is:

 

"How about for the next map reset we just keep it simple? Everyone in LOTC uses lots of wood and resources 'n junk... How about Vailor ends up like Easter Island (The stone Tiki-Head island)? The habitants of Easter Island used logs to move the giant Stone heads they made, but cut down the trees too quick, forcing them to move away. I think we should have this happen, even if saplings in MC replant really fast.

 

We just weren't as considerate to the environment so there was a shortage of trees, causing us to move if we wanted to live... Much more practical than, "Thanhium bomb destroys land" or "Giant worms kill us" IMO...

 

This is kind of a rough idea, and probably most of you won't like it, but I personally believe it is practical, and probably fun to RP. "

This was an idea of mine from a status update I posted a little less than a week ago... I know it's very rough, but an idea is an idea. I think it's better to move onto a new island like this rather than, "OooOOOOh mystical mageeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Gotta mooOOOve!"
