Beside all that which once resided at the docks another structure came to rise, from glass and stone its form came to be until it's curiously locked doors slid open for the public to enter. Inside sat rows upon rows of stalls; each topped with a multicoloured roof to create a spectacle for the eye.. The odd place must be a market however one not like the rest, for this would intend to buy your goods rather than sell.

Today we bring you something promised within the agenda post a few weeks ago, the GM Market. The purpose behind this isn’t too destroy mercantile RP or outbid your prices but instead to help influence a slightly more stable economy. If we even slightly manage to do such then naturally aspects such as your capability to trade, sell and buy should also improve.

 

So, what is it? Well the GM Market or ‘Grand Market’ is a system in which we buy your goods from you for a set price, disallowing massive economy deflation whilst at the same time allowing us to inject mina into the pockets of more than the 1%. In order to use this function merely follow the guides and sell your goods to the stall, due to plugin restrictions there is the option to buy goods (all of which are set at 999) but unless you’re feeling generous to the non-existent bank account I’d avoid that.

 

However what we’re promising isn’t an overnight thing. Unfortunately when introducing concepts such as this everything is thrown into whack and prices become this ever confusing loop. We’re not promising overnight results but as the economy comes to stabilize and we sort out any massively outstanding issues that are present hopefully we’ll have something better. In the meantime, we’re getting a better system for when the next map comes to roll around.

I think more thought needs to be put into the selling aspect of it. Having the price as 999 or 9999 isn't going to always end with "you don't have enough minas for that". Of course, if you lowered it to 20 and someone tried to sell a stack of iron they could potentially buy 64 iron at 20 each. It seems like a mistake could happen, and that mistake could potentially do a lot of damage to a players money.
